birdman: I would love to see Tatum and Brown on some other teams where they can be really appreciated and honored. the way you guys abuse and discard heroes is terrible. There is a mix of entitlement and wickedness in there. Laker fans are entitled, but they dont display the level of wickedness you guys display. Someone's career may be over, while he was playing his heart out to get a repeat ring, and yall already moving on? Anyhow na so una do IT. We in htown appreciate Ime btw It's the cruel way of sports. The moment you get injured, you become dispensable. Like they used to say, availability is the name of the game. With that kind of injury, his career won't be the same again, even if he recovers and comes back, no assurance he can get to his previous heights again. We all know what happened to Klay after that injury. It makes no sense to want to hold on to a player on supermax with that kind of injury. |

Roland17: This was supposed to be the last ride with this roster and Tatum’s injury, I believe, inevitably seals it. Everything is on the table right now, I’d be shocked if the core returns, especially with our new ownership group. One of White/ Holiday will leave for sure! Everything is on the table and that includes Brown and Tatum. True. Since it's looking like they won't be running it back, it make sense to break it up and try rebuild. We'll see how It goes. |

Do you think your owners will break up that rooster or not considering that with supermax next year and luxury tax, they are looking at over $500m budget.
I personally think they will try to move on Porzingis and Jrue especially as White as been a monster in defense and he offers so much than Jrue offensively. |

Could probably be out of next season sef.
That's a career defining injury. |

In the Europa League, we have played 11 games under Amorim, we won 9 and 2 draw.
We fully deserve to be in the final and he will pipe Spurs for sure.

Oasis007: ......I understand your optimism but ain't gonna put any hope on the final. Both Clubs are average this season - very average. Luck can take you to final in cup competition but reality does set-in in league competition.
None of the clubs deserves UCL spot next season but rules are rules. UCL is meant for Gladiators not Weaklings. We are average in the league this season. We are not average in the Europa League. We are the only unbeaten team remaining in all of Europe competition. We fully deserve to be in the final by virtue of our performance in the Europa league and we fully deserve to be where we are on the PL table. |

It's not even hard to understand. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 11:38am On May 12, 2025 |
eph12: The results should mean something o. Not just the result, but also how they played. Amorim has taken too long to make some critical changes. It's almost as if he has given up. Amorim is like the 4th or 5th coach since Mourinho. Hiring and firing without signing the best players will only make top coaches avoid us. We will be left with washed coaches and coaches just starting their career.
There is no winning the final and moving on. The next game could be a loss with some terrible play, against a club below average. It does not solve anything This season is done. The only important game remaining is the Europa League final. I could care less if we win the remaining games in the PL or not. There's absolutely nothing to play for on the league anymore. Win or lose the remaining PL games doesn't really matter to me. I just need the team to win the Europa League, qualify for UCL and the club can do whatever revamp they want to do whether buy players, sack the coach or whatever. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by larride(m): 9:47am On May 12, 2025 |
Danhumprey: LMAO. I'm not trying to defend Amorim here, but c'mon man. Are you joking here? Amorim was clearly being honest, even if that 'honesty' sound like what Ralf Rangnick once said in his evaluation of the situation at the club and what needed to be done.
Amorim is clearly saying if by the time the next season begins and things have not changed, then maybe we shouldn't be playing in the Champions League and should instead just be playing in the Premier League. One might argue that things should improve with the remaining matches at least, but to be honest, it just doesn't look like things will improve in the remaining matches of this season. Let's see what the summer transfer and pre-season has, then we may judge whether the team would be serious for the next season or not. Nothing is going to improve in the remaining games in the league. The players have mentally checked out, those that have mentally checked out will be cautious so as not to avoid injury so they can play the final. This season is gone since and these PL results means nothing to me tbh. Make them just win the final and move on from there. Its left for Amorim and Sir Ratface to then revamp the squad. |
