Though I am in an European country but my enquiry on Nigeria Embassy in Netherlands and people’s experiences shows they’re very slow with renewing passports and if you don’t tip them your passport will be left unattended to. Thought this only happens in Nigeria but I was shocked.

Apply from Germany since you are German resident. The processing time in Nigeria is not normal. Some folks applied since January this year with no decision from the embassy yet.

Are you going for vacation? Canada boarder is not open for vacation now. You can only go to Canada now if you meet certain requirements.

Is your contact in Canada a friend or family. You need to check for those that consider as extended family from their website.

No sir, I meant the same hotel with two different bookings. The hotel actually suggested that for me. Is it a red flag? And I am applying from Germany not Nigeria.

Ideally, it should be issued immediately after confrmation that he/she qualifies. However the problem is getting an appointment at the alien office over there, it really needs a lot of commitment and sacrifice. I know someone who was on it for weeks because they only work on certain days- I think Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday at specific times. The day he finally got it, he had to go there as early as 5am in the morning and he still met a lot of people there already! Good luck.

Please don't be too desperate and later lose opportunity of even going to Germany in the future. Relax, send a mail to to the embassy about your predicament and inform the school too, then pray. Everything will be fine.

I funded before the interview, I think topping up before AM/Visa depends on different City. Nobody from my city received any mail asking for top up but we all have it at the back of our mind to top up when we get there.

I'm asking because I booked on the 2nd of July with Oct 15 as deadline, rebooked on the 30th of July with Nov 20th as deadline bhu i ticked Scholarship, I got a date the next day for Oct30 bhu bosses advised me to cancel and rebook as I would be turned back. I then reapplied on Aug 1 at 4:30am with Nov 15 as deadline. Someone here rebooked the same day but with Nov 29 as deadline and got a date today while I havent.

I am most confused right now. I don't know what to do. Should I wait? should I rebook again. If I rebook, hope the system won't detect me

Stop being anxious. You are letting people define you. You know what you want, book it. When you booked November 20th, you should have not ticked scholarship. Look at the trend of those getting AD and decide for yourself once and for all. I pray you get date soonest.
