The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is grilling a father, Isa Bola Bakare, and his son, Malik Giles Bakare, over alleged conspiracy on computer-related fraud.

According to reports, Malik acted as a “middleman” who connects internet fraudsters around the globe with pickers and receives some percentage on every successful transaction.

He was arrested and handed over to the Commission by officers of the Nigeria Police, Force CID, Alagbon, Lagos on May 31, 2021.

During the course of the investigation, his father, Isa Bola Bakare, appeared at the Commission claiming ownership of a Range Rover car estimated at about N46 Million, which was recovered from his son. However, the father failed to provide a satisfactory account of how he was able to procure the vehicle so he was arrested too.

Brazilian woman, Dayane Cristina Rodrigues Machado, has reportedly cut off her husband’s penis, cooked it after she killed him in alleged self-defense.

Dayane Cristina Rodrigues Machado, 33-year-old, was arrested by the police in Sao Goncalo, a Brazilian city on June 7.

Police were invited to the couple’s house in the neighborhood of Santa Catarina and found her husband’s naked and mutilated body. According to the police, Cristina allegedly cut off her husband, Andre’s penis, and cooked it in soybean oil in a frying pan.

They added that the crime occurred around 4 am after the couple argued about splitting up. The cops also recovered a kitchen knife from the crime scene which is believed to be the murder weapon she used in killing her husband.

A teenager in France has been arrested after stabbing his father to death and then sharing images of the crime scene online, investigators said on Tuesday, June 8.

The 17-year-old in Ploeren, a town of about 6,000 in the northwestern Brittany region, called police late Saturday, June 5, to say that "he had just stabbed his father to death in the family home", prosecutor Francois Touron said in a statement.

When police arrived at the home, they found the dead man's body with multiple knife wounds, and arrested the son, who was under the influence of alcohol.

Elephant paid its final respects to its trainer with a salute of its trunk after walking 15 miles to see his body for the last time in India .

Kunnakkad Damodaran Nair, known as Omanchetan, 74, died from cancer on Thursday after caring for the animals for six decades in Kottayam, Kerala.

One of his elephants, Pallata Brahmadathan, walked two hours to join friends and relatives who had gathered outside Omanchetan's house for a ceremony.

Footage shows the elephant reaching out its trunk towards Omanchetan's body before offering a salute.

The elephant's new handler Rajesh struggled to fight back tears during the emotional moment, saying: 'When Brahmadathan lumbered to the funeral I couldn’t bear it. They loved each other like anything.'

The elephant had been under the care of Omanchetan since 1996, last appearing together at a festival.

The Imo State Police Command has arrested some members of a deadly robbery gang who have been making life unbearable for the people of the state.
