Is it possible to get a job in the Uni now? Maybe you can talk to the Careers department of the school or something like that. I guess, a job and your scholarship without worrying your folks can convince the VOs that you are financially stable to take care of yourself.

Just to help brighten your day, I have seen someone get TRV without scholarship and a SOA of 2.4M (he had paid full school fess though). Cheers!
