Hi expert in the house, i would like you hear your thought on the interpretation of this English as per Vetassess and the emphasis is on the word preceding- "The qualifications listed below are accepted on a case-by-case basis if preceding at least one year of highly relevant consulting work in that specific field of study". My qualification happens to be within those qualification that would be accepted on a case by case basis. My query is that does the preceding means one year experience in related field prior to graduation because all Industrial Training that we have in universities within Nigeria is either 6 months or three months. Thanks |

Gurus in the house, I have not written exam yet, this is scheduled before end of the month, However my question God willing, I do get a good score and create a profile, 1.Does the profile information require POF at that application point because I intend to see the outcome of the result first before pulling all resources together to raise 6.3M for family of four. 2. How can someone demonstrate 6 months history for Bank statement if he only plans to get the cash after outcome of exam. Though my thought is that perhaps fixed deposit up to the tune of 6.3M will suffice post submission of profile. The fixed deposit will be done all after God willing ITA received. Advise please |

To God be the glory, i am glad i will be part of those that will share their testimony on the student visa. Doing this on behalf of my wife cos she is the student. Visa approved on 20th June at Lagos embassy. Transcript VO: Good morning WIFEY: Morning VO: What courses will you be taking? WIFEY:GIS, ecological restoration, Clean energy..etc VO: Why this school? Please i need URGENT ADVICE house. I will be having my interview next week in Lagos, i envisage a question from the interview that i think i will need expert advice on...My case is i took study leave from work(Asst Lecturer in Uni in Naija)after my marriage. The main reason was to join my husband in Oman and on the second thought see the possibility of Phd if possible. My study leave is still valid but i fear that if the consular sees my passport and sees the Oman residence status on my passport under my husband sponsorship, he/she might ask what have you been doing in Oman?i really dont know the best way to respond in other not to mess up the issue of ties to home country.HELP please LagosismyHome: |

LagosismyHome: Its a College and not a University....does this really affect the chances?...should i apply to another university? and the program is environmental science. I am actually posting the question on behalf of my wife(applicant) and the interview for F1 was around Q1 in 2016 and she cannot remember how vividly can responded but my thought was because of the pregnancy...from your experience pregnancy is a setback for F1 right.? |

Good day to all the Gurus in the house. Please i sincerely need your advice. This is my story. I have B1/B2 went to US with my family for vacation(two weeks). I got admission in a college and i went to apply for F1 and F2 for my daughter(at the time of application i still have a valid B1/2) My FI and F2 were denied, though i was heavily pregnant at that time(i didnt know they dont usually grant pregnant women F1). i deferred my admission to this fall. I travelled to US afterwards to have my baby and came back(all expenses were fully paid). Our B1/B2 expired in Oct 2016 so we applied in November for another B1/B2, we were denied again. Now i have received tuition waiver from the same college i applied to last year. I hope to join them this fall and that is the only college i applied to. Please note i am a lecturer in Nigeria but sponsorship will be my hubby to get my I-20, because getting Bank statement from the University where i lecture will be difficult to get I-20 but a kind of letter of introduction can be given to me from my University in Nigeria if need be for interview. Please advise me on what to do to ensure i get it this time around. |

@Everyone......I found the answers to myriads of questions on my mind, many thanks to the initiator of this post. However i still have some few questions.A bit of background on my issue. My wife will be due around August, she is a lecturer in Nigeria but now she took study leave to come and visit me in Abudhabi and would likely apply for USA visa from UAE. 1. Does she need to have someone in USA to request visiting visa for her because i intend using Doctoseparti in El Paso? 2. She really wants to get Phd placement in any university in USA?If she is asked about her intention, definitely she will state all these...what is her chances if she does not have someone to request for the visiting visa.As per finance, i will provide her with enough cash for the trip. PLEASE HELP OUT WITH SUGGESTIONS. |
