chimaobikanu: Don’t depend on any AGENT! I repeat, DONT DEPEND ON ANY AGENT!!! Change you money where the rate is favorable for you and fly to UAE. When you get there look for bed space, it isn’t a rocket science. Most of you that depend on agent are the ones that ends up in the street! You most not know anyone to succeed in a foreign land. Search for African bed space on uae bed space and apartment for rent on Facebook. The so called agents are the problem we have here in UAE. Don’t let anyone misguide you please. If your looking for a job, there’re are currently few openings in uae, I recommend Abu Dhabi. And when you get there, have it in mind that you’re not here for skyscrapers nor beautiful scenes, but for work to make money to foot your bills. Meaning don’t restrict yourself to only jobs in city. Go to western region(al Dhafra), and Al Ain, there’re are so much vacancies there.
My one cent to you Thanks so much for this advice I appreciated But cn I search for accomodation b4 leaving Nigeria |

glowingflame7: Forget about travelling anywhere until after corona. It appears that corona has not yet taken it's toll on the Nigerian economy, that's why this people don't understand. Most of the people that have jobs in Nigeria still have them. In other parts of the world, it is not so. Many works have stopped because of the coronavirus, as companies are not operating and cannot be piling up salary of work not done. Many have either lost work or being told to stay at home unpaid till after. There will definitely be recovery though it will be in phases,we just don't know how fast or slow. UAE will definitely fight to get up in record time. Thank God curfew has been relaxed today. I won't really say you should lose hope. Because recruitment will surely fall in again if things get back. But it will be strong competition for the prepared. And I tell you, most Nigerians never come prepared. They just come hoping to be the lucky ones. If you are among those, just forget it for now. Too much competition. Millions that have 9months visa thanks to UAE government are already on the queue here. Understood Not that am traveling presently I only want to work on an idea which says "he who fail to prepare, prepare to fail" Who knows when this terrible virus will end its ruling? So anyhow one day d prevalence will end and I hope it ends sooner than the soonest To cut d long conversations short Am only trying to ask based on what have heard from my agent b4 now I appreciate ur concern May God increase u in knowledge |
