@launrey, sorry for replying you this late. Hope you are done wwith the Medicals. Well, its was just a nice time there moving from one consulting room to another. I had to go pay to the bank(28k),then was tagged for the blood and urine tests after collecting like one pant of blood from me,after that I had to go for my e-medicals, after that x-ray, then met with the consultant. I feel if people were not much, I wouldn't have spent up to 4 hours. Just go early.

What is it about questionnaire and checklist that people are adding to their application? Are they required? if yes, I need their dowdownloading links as I can't find anything like that on their website.
on form IMM1294, where to fill level of study, what to fill by me as I will be going for advanced diploma (no option for advanced diploma and pgd)?
Also, hope going for advanced diploma after bsc. at 30 years of age will not cause delay or deny of visa?

No it shouldn't. As long as you haven't been idle since you last graduated.

Pls, how can I sign on my forms (IMM1294 & IMM5645) as I am submitting online?.... is there any other mandatory form for study permit to be included?
I am going for advanced diploma bt i couldn't find this (advanced) among options provided for level of study in IMM1294 Form. Pls which option to choose? I asked this earlier bt no contribution yet. Help!!!!

i think you should see certificate and diploma among those options too, alongside masters and bachelors. the 'certificate' is what you should be clicking if you're onto an advanced diploma program like i am. what program and school you in for sir?

Has anyone that did his/medicals last week between 23rd and 25th of March with Children's practice had any update from CIC? Just curious because this is the 7th working day and nothing seems to be popping up. I hope I'm good. School resumes May 5 and no form of preparations yet. These people needs to answer me fast before I collapse o and I need to drop the resignation letter this week.

@bighead, your prayerss work well o, you still need to enter your prayer room again o. The medicals were done. Got there about 9:00am and left at exact 1:00pm. It was noit stressful though,but those guys just wasted my precious time unnecessarily.

baba abeg wetin them been do for that medicals on you gan gan. I've mine scheduled on Wednesday and just want to have an idea of what it is about. me no too like hospital and things. wetin them been dey do unto you for 4 HOURS!?. lol. na wa oo God help us.

Please I am trying to tackle this draft questionnaire and it's questions. I want to know what's the best way to answer the 'why did you select your proposed program?', 'how does yur selected program differ from similar programs available in Nigeria'? 'the work experience relevant to the proposed program'?, and the 'explanation of gaps in my academic history to date' on the questionnaire. Thing is I haven't worked since my Internship (IT)in 2011. I finished university in 2012, and completed NYSC in Feb last year. Any ideas of the best way to go about it from the profile I just gave. Thanks.

Apply for Trv with it. you can apply for a new one when you get to Canada, you can't apply for a new one yet, its still valid for a year ,I think u can only apply for a new one when its less than 6months

Just had to chip this in.
My passport is virgin, and will be expiring in May 2016. Please I want to know if I can apply for a 2 years visa bearing in mind that this is almost 2015 already?. I kind of think I will need a new passport. Am I wrong? @tnuola

You can use them if you have the resources they're quite popular, and then you can choose to do it on your own there's so much to learn on this thread and we all help each other here, a lot of people do it on their own and get their TRVs.. To know the documents you'll need try to read part 5 and 6 in bits to have an idea then you can come back to ask questions

Launrey you can start by knowing what documents you need, get them and apply as soon as they're complete. Nothing like too early.. The earlier the better

Hello house.
Please I have a few questions and would require some help.
1. Can i get a Msc admission in Environmental Engineering with a CGP of 3.07 in Chemical Engineering UG in any uni in Canada ( I know it's difficult but is it possible)?.
2. Is a graduate certificate same as a post graduate diploma?
3. I have funds for just a year fees and accommodation. What are the pros/cons of going for a year (GC/MS/PGd) as against the 2 year programs ubiquitous in Canadian institutions?.
4. I am looking at a Environmental Engineering apps GC program at Constoga College. Is it a good idea employment wise in Canada?
5. I was told a 2 year study visa has advantages over a 1 year as expected. But what are these advantages in relation to staying on in Canada.
