I have to add that it would be stupid not to work at all for 3 months in this country before school begins. You might as well just stay in Nigeria and come at the appropriate time. It can be expensive bruh!

Once you have your visa even if its a year in advance before your school resumption, you can definitely come into the country. You won't be sent back as long as you can convince at the POE that you can sustain yourself. But no one would be sending you back for sure. Trust me these people are not heartless now, they have the fear of God especially when youre already inside the country.

Tell the landlord that you're a new immigrant and its your first time in Canada. He would be happy to rent out to you because I had the same issue too. You have to pay the first and last month rent down though.

Please I've been scouting kijiji for rent in Toronto. They keep on mentioning on their rental ads that previous landlord reference letter will be required. I have never rented a place my whole life and hence have no "previous landlord". What do I do in this kind of situation? Will the landlords insist on such reference letters?

I would advice that people should share their travel experience especially at the POE this will help make prospective traveller well knowledged and ready for their trip.

Get all documents ready in ur hand luggage. As long as you have a valid visa you're good to go.

i think you're good to go sha. you could add more important company documents (lpos, work contracts, receipts etc) and maybe beef up the sponsor account abit (even get a co sponsor if possible). as long the pgd has a strong coherence with your bachelors. finally pray cos God answers prayers. all the best!

He already drafted a leave letter. Would just that suffice.

don't backdate nothing. a letter of introduction from the company stating your job responsibilities, unit/division you work under, date of employment, salary structure will be just fine. The letter should also state that you hope the knowledge you obtained will help the upliftment of the company (you could highlight that your father owns the company). i don't think backdating an employment letter is necessary.

Did cic asked you to submit any questionnaire form? The only optional form is schedule 1 for online route if I Am still current . Wonder why u should go to extent of submitting a form they never asked you to submit. Considering the fact that u saw clearly it was developed by an agent. You guys should learn to play by the rule and not appear too desperate or complicate the whole process for your own sake. Reason why there r instructions given to you before uploading your docs. My own opinion anyway.

it wasn't developed by no agent. it has the CIC letter head boldly conscripted on it. at least for paper route (not sure about online). you should remove this post not to mislead people.
