my fellow e3 people my phone has refused to flash all known custom rom there is and the worse part is I've flashed the Chinese firmware onto the phone now I can't get back to the previous firmware that came with the phone, the Chinese firmware does not come with playstore and you can't synchronize Google account with it because it doesn't support it,
I've downloaded all the roms on xda that are compatible with e3 but they all won't boot after flashing even it's a boot loop seff I for happy it will just stay glued to the first image that comes up for ever, mehn I don tire jare now I can't sync my contacts and Google map won't locate my position anymore because it can't login to Google, I've searched the net for official rom(India) but can't find it either

im stock with this silly chiness firmware
my cwm backup of the previous firmware wont restore either

4peace all custom roms are not loading on my e3 i dont know why ive already flashed my phone to the chinesse firmware still when i load the custom rom(any of them) it just hangs at boot up(as in the first boot screen) any ideas?
ive tried all three roms available for the e3

4peace is it possible to restore my cwm of the official rom after flashing the Chinese firmware because the custom roms won't install on the default rom and why did you say the guy that wants to flash the xperia HD rom should be careful is it not ok?

Later on i will share some files with real e3 owner in case their fone is brick or they want to take it to repair centre

this thread is full of misguided people trying to derail the thread, when I got my phone I did not consult anybody on nairaland for review instead I turned to Google and YouTube for review and made up my mind to go for it, I've installed cwm on my phone and I won't answer anyone on the phone usage and battery performance because all this have been ironed out previously on this thread.

this gionee e3 phone is really a cool phone, under heavy usage the battery life is really impressive for a 1800mah capacity, the phone runs on mt6589 chipset which is a more stable chip to it's predecessor the mt6577 and it's a quad core phone running on 1gb of ram, gionee made some pretty cool tweaking to the android 4.2 on the phone like the battery app that came preinstalled really helps in power consumption by reducing the CPU clock speed when idle and toggling data synchronization when idle as well, the phone also comes with an ota options which really is cool from gionee, camera is very impresive both in day light and when dark and comes with auto focus, the earphones are the does plug in the ear type which is not really my take but it delivers some pretty good sounds, the screen protector that came with the phone is not preinstalled lije those of tecno and Co you will have to install the screen protector your self, phone is pretty light in weight and super slim even slimmer than the galaxy s4
overall verdict the phone is a good buy and I would recommend elijahdre as a reliable source
to root the phone wasn't easy but I was able to over come it with the help of motochopper
