my dear sister afrobaby I'm sorry about your phones situation but if there's one thing I've come to realize about electronic is that it can malfunction at any point in time and it might never malfunction at all its not about brand name, gionee is a very reliable brand compared to other brands and I'm a huge fan of their products even though I own a note 3 I still have a gionee phone to handle some of my basic phone functions, as elijahdre has said just try and make time to get the phone to his friend and he would take over from there

My note 3 charges very very slowly.. As in ridiculously slow. It charges about 10% per hour. Jeez! That's roughly a charge time of 10hours to move from 0% to 100% (which by d way is enuff time to charge my samsung gS3 from 0-100 five times!!) and besides we all know what power looks like in Nigeria. Why is this pls and is anyone else experiencing a similar thing? Need help on how to work arnd this pls cos its really frustrating

are you using an original Samsung charger and do you have the usb 3.0 usb cable, my note 3 charges a lot faster with the 3.0 cable than a regular one

the backup you were trying to use was made from what? if it's not a custom recovery backup it won't work and it should be from the same kind of phone

got mine from elijahdre yesterday and loving the phone, incase we have any one interested in rooting vroot seems to be the only option that worked all others failed to root so my advise is to get vroot apk and run it but i think you will need internet for it to root the phone sha,
