Politics / Cry! My Beloved Country by layejosep: 6:00pm On Sep 17, 2008
I discovered something recently. We have so much money or we think we have, (made N855billion in may alone).
However we lack a special skill needed to manage the money. And no leader for now knows what to do.
100% pay rise for political office holders when implemented, will cost N1.23trillion annually.
The biggest industry in Nigeria today is not banking? thrash! Is corruption.
Please let us share views on the special skills needed to pilot the economy and move the country forward.

Education / Re: Madonna University: The Truth by layejosep: 8:18pm On Aug 09, 2008
You are saying the right thing about one of the earliest private university in the country.
But come to think of it, it is not the beginning that matters, its how it ends.
My immediate younger sister finish there 2004. Very fast, no strikes. Yes, there hostel got burnt down that time, each student had to pay N5,000. The real culprits had to pay N500,000 EACH. Off course they left the school. For God sake N500,000 wil pay you thru in a public university strike or not.
But my sister today is an assitant lecturer in Fed Poly Nasarawa today. DONT THINK IS CONNECTION! NOT AT ALL.
Hers was delayed, her friends and classmate are in UBA, BANKPHB. and other Finance houses.
So if you are looking for the cheapest private university and will not delay your wards, children. Go to Madonna University.
Afteralls you are not going to be permanent there.

Jobs/Vacancies / Do You Think A Job, Is A Short Term Solution To A Long Term Problem? by layejosep: 1:21pm On Jul 08, 2008
Dear forumites, I have been thinking a way out, what do you think? is getting a paid job not a short term solution to a long term problem? Look at the NLNG guys, the intercontinental and oceanic guys, infact look at the guys in big multinationals, yes good cash, good life, women and all we think. I have some as friends, they complain badly. Hear what they say, i am getting tired of this work, i need to make more money and GET OUT of this Goddamn place.
Well, my case is different, am neither any of these my friends;i know what it is to be unemployed and underemployed,i have been unemployed twice and underemployed once. But i discovered these my friends have great respect for me,though i am not a quarter financially capable as they are.I know exactly money is part of a successful living. I am compelled to ask? DO YOU THINK A JOB IS A SHORT TERM SOLUTION TO A LONG TERM PROBLEM?
Please let me hear your opinions.
