Christianity EtcRe: Share Your Testimony in Life. by layi(m): 1:25am On Oct 19, 2005
I am happy u started this thread. Miracles are part of lives..we can't be too civil to ignore them.
*******************
I've been supernaturally healed of scurvy (mouth disease characterised by unneccesary bleeding and swelling of gums). It happened in church (christ embassy healing service). i knew i was going to be healed then and during prayers i felt a HOT ball leave my mouth. I felt my gum. The swelling was gone. Instantly. It was a miracle.
********************
I've also had divine intervention in some instances. I was walking home from school in 1992. Along a lonely part.i got so weak..i didnt know when i moved unto the road. A car was coming from behind at top speed (about 140km/hr)...i just felt someone pull me off immediately..and d car missed me by d whsikers. But really there was no soul around me then. It was GOD...an unseen hand.
*********************
I went visiting someone around Mile 3/Diobu in portHarcourt (during my days at UNIPORT). I stayed up late and was goin back to school around 9.30pm. I got to corner...never knew it was an hideout. I was surounded by 8 fierce looking guyz. They were bent on strippin me naked. But out of d blues 3 hefty men appeared (each between 6'5 - 7ft tall) freed me from their claws...told me to run. As i looked up to thank them...there were no more.  Dissapeared.

Lots of testimonies to tell but i still believe a lot of people wont apprecaite it until they experience divinity first hand.
I''ll never stop tellin of the Lord's goodness anyway.
I pray God meets us all at the point of our needs

Ife is actually the the headquaters of the Yoruba Kingdom. Oduduwa who founded d yoruba race was a son of Lamurudu otherwise known today as Olodumare (yoruba god).
Funny enough but the yoruba race has dispersed far and wide. We have yorubas in togo, benin, siera leone ..even as far as brazil and cuba.
CrimeRe: This is Barbaric! 11 Year Old Set Ablaze in Lagos. God Have Mercy on Us. by layi(m): 12:11am On Oct 19, 2005
That aint all. I was driving along Ikorodu-ibeshe road today and i saw a 12-13 grl on d floor apparently a victim of this hit n run drivers. I was surprised that motorist were drivin past her...leavin d poor girl in d pool of blood. then it happened to me that in Nigeria. carryin an accident victim to d hospital is an offence..a big one. U'll be arrested at the culprit . Imagine!!
All i could do was to report to the general hospital just 200meters away. i disturbed them and when they got out to pick her..i dissapeared.
I dunno if the girl is still alive but men things happen in this country..u wonder if u r still living wit humans.
Christianity EtcRe: What More Do You Know About Angels? by layi(m): 11:53pm On Oct 18, 2005
@Wes
Just because u havent experienced somethings doesnt nullify its existence. U aint all-knowing mind u. I'm sure in years to come..u'll know not all that happens on earth can be explained logically.

@charlisco
I have had an experience wit angels (amidst several divine encounters). 3 men rescued me from a gang of 8 robbers and dissapeared. It may sound stupid but i got nothing to gain from lying. It happened for real.

Angels do exist in heaven and on earth
They are made from light not dust like humans.
They do not procreate.
They are made as messangers to serve Man and GOD.
Angels like GOD are sexless or better put sexful (both sexes in 1).
Adam too was both until the female characteristics was taken out to form eve........reason for marriage.
Angels usually appear to humans in human form.

I watched d news and was dumb till d end. I couldnt say a word. The kind of news that makes u want to setup an NGO fast.
That act is evil no matter what d guy did. Even if he was caught red handed. He's a minor for heaven sake.
I just hope there's sum'n better i can do instead of this post. I feel for the poor boys soul.
An 11 yr old claimin to be innocent even at d point of death actually means he's innocent.
May His soul rest in Peace. Its touching. i wish i could do sum'n.

Nigerians r wicked. Imagine i was just thinkin bout how my friends could steal my phone and this news pops up in ma face. I'm not proud of Nigeria any more.

Yes and No.

NO because Oduduwa is a person. Ife is a place.

Yes because Oduduwa setled in Ile Ife. From whence the yoruba race (oyo kingdom started)

U wont have to explain if u actually spoke a real language nddyz grin
I can teach u Yoruba.

Oduduwa , Lamurudu , Oranmiyan are our forefathers. A nice history if you (yoruba folks here) delve into it.
