Villagers in a Mozambique community has
nabbed a demon who allegedly has been
sleeping with people’s wives in that village.
Tokoloshe, the demon that has been sleeping
with Mozambique women, has finally been
apprehended.

The first time I became aware of me falling sick was in 2007. I was 26 at the time. Since then it has been a myriad of medical troubles.

It has been cycles of malaria, bacterial infections, disc problems and headache. Every night, I take drugs before I could be able to sleep. I always have antimalarials, antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants handy. If malaria symptoms occur, I would take antimalarials and there would be improvement within minutes. And would then complete the dosage in 3 days. By fourth day, symptoms of bacteria infection would occur; I would take ciprofloxacin and get relieved within minutes. Once I complete the dosage, headache would strike, and once aspirin is taken, I get well. But I would keep repeating aspirin every night until gastric ulceration sets in. I would then buy omeprasole and cimetidine to treat ulcer. While ulcer treatment is ongoing, malaria would strike again, and I would take antimalarials. If antimalarials don't work, I would know that the symptoms are bacterial and take antibiotic. If there is no relief, I would combine antimalarials and antibiotic and there would be a relief. It has been like this since 2007. I don't go to hospital again because I have grown to know these symptoms and what doctors would prescribe.

For the past 2 weeks, I have been battling 'herniated disc' problem in my lower back. It started the day I bent down suddenly and I heard a snapping sound at my back bone. I started using norflex, calcium supplement and diclofenac. I feel mild relief because I can't stop my daily hustle to rest while the disc heals. If I dont work in a day, I won't eat or pay bills.

Note that I undergo HIV test almost weekly.

How do the poor tackle medical problems in this hellhole of a country?

Firstly, please stop d work u are doing, look for a better work, mind the food and water you drink, avoid deep thinking, it hurts deeply, stay cool and positive, drink herbs and exercise ur body, please note hard labour is different from excercise... most important thing is STOP THINKING

INVITATION AND ELIGIBILITY

This is to invite all UTME/DE candidates in the underlisted categories for the 2017/2018 Pre-Admission Screening Registration into Kwara State University, Malete:

those whose choice of institution (First or Second) isKwara State University (KWASU), Malete; andthose interested in admission into KWASU but have not made it their choice.

All candidates must have five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings. Candidates awaiting O’Level results can also apply but they will not be considered for admission until their results are available. Online registration starts from Tuesday 30th May, 2017.

REGISTRATION FEES: Candidates are required to pay the sum of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000.00) only (i.e. Three Thousand Naira (₦3,000.00) as Screening Fees and Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) as administrative charges).ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

►Visit http://www.app.kwasu.edu.ng/portal, click "PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION" menu.

►Click "Registration Form" link

►Enter your details in the spaces provided and click "Continue" button to generate the payment breakdown. NOTE that if you have already attempted to make payment, this section will notify you of the status of such payment.

►Check the payment details generated and click "Make Payment" button. Do not click the button twice.

►On the payment platform displayed, enter your card details and click the "Pay" button.

►Once your payment is successful, you will be directed to your registration portal where you can complete other stages.

►After completing the registration stages, it is important to print your Registration form and Payment receipt.

► If you have successfully paid, and wish to continue your registration stages later, you can use the "Login" link under "PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION" menu to access your registration portal.

In addition to all the requirements stated above, all candidates must know that final admission into the University is based on meeting the University’s and the Academic Programme’s cut off points in UTME when they are set and also on the availability of spaces within the NUC approved admission quota for KWASU.
