CodeTemplarr: NNPCL making it look like the smaller marketers buying from them boycotted Dangote petrol. The culprits pulling all the evil strings here is NNPCL and their govt associates. Now they have agreed to give Dangote 385k bpd in exchange for God knows how many millions of litre of petrol. If there is excess petrol after satisfying local market, how is the remaining ever accounted for?
The above scenario leaves the room for NNPCL top staff members to lower prices before selling off accumulated local petrol to smugglers. NNPC is one of the select organizations in this world personally run by Satan. |

Especially if you have a large family.
Most times, these children will fight to death, and destroy every legacy that their fathers had spent his whole life to create. Give it all out before you die. Wills can be rubbished. |

DrFunmisticGlow: Convert that tax to the dollar or pound and you will see that it is little in the grand scheme of things where health is concerned. There is no reason to convert it to anything because the legal tender here is naira and we do not spend dollars or pounds. Hospitals cost money, staff cost money, to get decent standard equipment cost money, even research to discover new drugs and vaccines to treat the myriad of diseases plaguing hhumans cost millions and billions of dollars. So all that cost has to be recouped somehow. That is why Nigerians pay out of pocket for healthcare because even the subsided, substandard Healthcare that you are criticising is being paid for by someone.
Yes good health is a basic human right, but Healthcare is a business, not a charity. Understood and I dont expect that free healthcare can happen overnight here. Perhaps in a century or two. I was just voicing a hope. Personally I feel bitter when a person dies for lack of money to afford treatment of a treatable ailment. I feel it should be a fundamental right. |

The problem you will encounter is the currency is different. No one will accept your money from you, in fact you may be arrested as they will see it as fake money. Moreover there is nothing like transfer by mobile phone in 1970, so think am wella. |

thesicilian: You're right. And so should accommodation, and education, and general care of children and the elderly. But the reality of today's world is that none of them are. I dont know about accomodation. Maybe for the truly indigent and homeless and only until they are able to stand on their feet (for a limited time). And perhaps for those who truly cannot help themselves (e.g: the disabled). Care of children, I also dont know about, maybe it can be subsidized. |

We get what we give It is VERY FALSE to say that Nigerians dont pay tax. Not only do we pay tax but we also pay a great many informal and unauthorized taxes which add up. |

thesicilian: However that doesn't mean anyone can go there expecting free treatment because human life is involved, the best you can get is first aid while you source for money. I make this as a general comment to all world governments - not to LASG - regarding the bold - Healthcare is one thing that should be FREE. |

EreluRoz: Did you get the deeper meaning of the lady still telling op she loves him more would still choose him over his cousin? I'm advising you now as a lady, if you ever noticed your girlfriend loves any man more than you don't ever marry her. Everything is wrong here, the lady is using their heads and if op tell her to leave the cousin now and come back to him she'll jump at the offer and it is that type of woman you are supporting. Everything is wrong, the lady should go away from that family kos her placenta is not tied there. I dont plan to marry and I dont blieve in marraige. |

EreluRoz: He said he didn't know he'll take her serious. You guys should stop downplaying things like this please. This is how some of you men allow evil ladies come into a family and create permanent enmity. The relationship is still in the boyfriend and girlfriend stage and as such he should reveal the truth to his cousin, that lady's placenta is not tied to their family. Which lady of good morals will date two cousins and won't even feel odd about it? Same lady is still telling op she loves him more than his cousin and you still don't see anything wrong in it? Ikegwuru Its not that I dont see anything wrong with it. It will be a serious issue if his eye is still on her, But he said he is not interested, and both of them were honest enough to ask him first (dishonest people will not ask, they will run their game behind him and not care whether she dated him before or is even still dating him). He gave a clear answer saying its OK. That is the end of the issue. The only thing I will add is he should sha let his cousin know that he has been there before. And he should have no plans of going there again. |

See it is guilty conscience that made him do this post which means what he's doing to his cousin is not right and it'll hunt him for the rest of his life if he fails to reveal the truth to his cousin now. That evil lady's placenta is not tied to that family. See as one evil lady is using two cousin's head and sad thing is some men like you can't see through this lady smh. Did you also read she's still telling this op she loves him more and will always choose him over his cousin and that if he's ready to be with her she'll leave his cousin for him? Read and digest and stop supporting evil They BOTH sought his permission and the truth from him and HE TOLD BOTH parties its OK. Anything after that is double talk. |

Zidac: Have you been to Ogudu before? By the way, Magodo is better than Ikeja GRA by miles. Of course I have been to Ogudu, and its a very cool area, I once planted a branch of my business there. And I can relate when you say Magodo is better than GRA, but biko, GRA has Isaac John Street (with places like Raddission Hotel, Jade Restaurant, Hubmart, The Place, Metro Park and Joel Ogunnaike Street with sooo many top class Hotels and restaurants - [Marriot Hotel / Yellow Chilli, to mention a few) - Magodo by comparison has only CMD Road with low grade restaurants and small hotels. Besides the inner enclosures of GRA are very reserved and quite Old-Ikoyi-like. |

OfficialMrOt: Moving to Lagos and I have thought about these 3 places Gbagada: with easy access to island Magodo: easy access to Ikeja Surulere: this I have no idea
Between these places which is better to live ? Take it from one who knows. Magodo is Ikoyi on the mainland, only second to Ikeja GRA. NO NEIGHBORHOOD on the mainland is as quiet, pleasant, organized and as coveted as it is save GRA Ikeja. Gbagada is only good for its open access. It is nothing special and parts of it are shanties (Ifako/ Deeper Life) - just a few areas are cool (Corona School axis). Suru-City is for real men and real people with the spice of life, fun, danger, gangsters, hoes, great food, and great hangouts. |

APOPTOSIS: I don't know why people so love and cherish Iphone. My phone is far more expensive than this iPhone. I have never used it despite being cheap and popularly known Honestly the thing is BS in my opinion. Same with their bloody laptop. Very user-unfriendly. I also have stayed away from Apple products. I only ever used an Iphone for about 2 weeks in my life before as a side phone and the experience was horrible. I think shallow people use it as a status symbol. |
