MadCow1: How could I?
I don't believe we would find all those girls ever.
Boko Haram does not take prisoners. i think your statement have slight similarity of no girls taken in the first instance. Becos, the media was awash with person from the government sounding it clear that the girls were still very much alive & in some cases, that the government are trying to xchange the chibok girls with high profile BH guys in Nigeria custody. U never heard such? |
Politics › Re: Audu’s Death, Faleke’s Legal Significance & Why The Law Cannot author Confusion by ldpele(m): 3:50pm On Nov 25, 2015 |
I have very lil disagreement with the law scholar, he made refer to the spirit of the law been more or should be more superior to the letter, which comes to bare that the law is actually made for man & not man made for the law, in other word, common sense or necessity should be placed about certain lacuna in the constitution. Will draw my logic from greater percent of the voters voted for the candidate not the party, which should give room for a total cancellation of the entire processes. |

Politics › Re: Kogi Poll: Resign Now, PDP Tells AGF, INEC Chair by ldpele(m): 11:19am On Nov 25, 2015 |
HaneefahRN: PDP definitely has no case here. What's there business if the APC candidate is substituted or the deputy gov candidate upgraded to the gov? The people voted for the party not the candidate, the candidate is dead but the party is still alive. INEC shld conclude the election and declare the winner, cest finite.Although this is an unprecedented case so let's see what actions the Supreme court takes. But they should stop making noise and go to court if they think they av a case. i agree with u partial, I totally disagree with the idea of PDP been mute on issues like this, we are in democracy and one expect the government to adhere strictly to the constitution, not what an AGF feels who have already proven to be partisan. |
Politics › Re: Kogi Poll: Resign Now, PDP Tells AGF, INEC Chair by ldpele(m): 11:15am On Nov 25, 2015 |
I think the AGF actually showed to Nigerians how partisan he is. He could av rested this case once and for all by approaching the Supreme Court for an interpretation on this lacuna rather than give us what he thinks is right. |
Politics › Re: Kogi Poll: Resign Now, PDP Tells AGF, INEC Chair by ldpele(m): 11:12am On Nov 25, 2015 |
ziccoit: When you dig a hole for your enemy, don't let it deep; you may be the one to fall into it. PDP actions and inactions in 16years of government are really hunting them. The provisions of constitution and electoral laws are not as deadly as Supreme Court pronouncements on Amaechi case in respect of this matter. There is no way this case is argued that is going to benefit PDP. If they manage to wriggle their ways out of constitution and electoral provision, Supreme Court pronouncements in Amaechi case would definitely catch up with them. the apex court have time without numbers told Nigerians and lawyers that the case of ameachi shouldn't be cited any longer, because it was a real travesty of justice. |

TonyeBarcanista: Ofcourse, they can invite Mr President but he will send Kachikwu(Min of State) or a Special Adviser or even a Perm Sec represent him. Obasanjo did it(he sent an SA to respond to House summon), Yar'adua did it, Jonathan did it(he sent Diezianni) and Diezani did it(She ignored them at a point). There is nothing they can do about it!
The solution is to remove the subsidy. #nostory tonye, pls I should b able to know what the slight removal by the previous administration did to the issue of fuel scarcity in Nigeria have achieved before thinking of the removal of fuel subsidy. |
Politics › Re: Kogi Scenario: AGF Should Head To Supreme Court by ldpele(m): 8:26am On Nov 23, 2015 |
free2ryhme: It is unfortunate that Audu died. may his soul rest in peace.
Meanwhile, Audu was representing APC and has a deputy. therefore the deputy should continue.
|Remember the case of PDP in Rivers State where Celestine Omeha was presented and Rotimi Amechi was in court.
PDP won the election and Omeha was sworn in. When Amechi worn the case in court Omeha was removed despite the fact that Amechi did not contest the election.
Supreme court ruling was that it is the party that was voted for not person.
So, if Audu is not around, Faleke should take over more importantly that he is also a participant in the election and the party already accepted him as Deputy am not sure u read the article, the apex court has advice that the above case you mentioned shouldn't be sighted again. |

blackpanda: Your argument makes no sense. In most other countries like America, Israel, joining the army is even by force. If you refuse, you will be jailed. Why people get into the army is less important than motivation and discipline once in. And btw the offer to refund tells more of APC sincerity, compared to PDP that never believed anybody stole money in the first place! thought yours was going to making sense, but still the same liars coming from persons like u who have decide to call us wailers. When & where in USA is one forced to join the force?
