one of my friends called me and sought for my advice, this is his story;

so my friend kunle actually watch news alot and with the current happenings especially with the issue of rape, so his curious 5 years old daughter has been seeing the news about george floyd and the trending rape endemic that is ravaging the US and NIgeria. out of curiousity which isnt strange for a 5 years old, she asked what is rape,daddy? kunle started sweating he was obviously in total discomfort as it never occurred to him to lecture or teach his girl-child about sex-education. he eventually told his daughter that rape means when someone put their hand or their dick into your private part. His 5 years old girl-child then squeezed her face then after like 5 mins she turned to her dad and said that means uncle shola is a rapist too!. well Shola is his junior brother

if you have kids please talk to them about sex, sex-educate them. dont say too much that it will prick their fascination but say enough so they can be knowledgeable enough to protect themselves

i know this topic is a reality to some of us and it is a menace which all of us citizens cannot curb. it saddens my heart to see those in whom our very lives are placed upon dance to the tune of corruption. NO! i am not talking about the government this time. this set of people have turned this covid-19 pandemic to business making venture. the collect bribes, lets just say they demand bribe. there is suppose to be curfew till 6am but some of them will set up camp and start charging people N500-N1000 to break the very law they promised to uphold. This set of people made a lot of money during the lock-down, they no longer uphold the law but rather they are lawless men (not all of them tho)in suits dancing in the rain of despair. i would like to go on and on but i know we are know the rest.

we need a united Nigeria, a Nigeria united in love,truth,honesty and trust until then we are just running naked in the bush
or you havent heard or experience such?

sometimes until we are in someone shoes we might not know what if feels like to be pressured to choose bad over good

i have tried all the tactics that i can to avoid this woman, but i always have something or a document to submit in her office. my salary scale is 100k upwards plus bonuses, even if i want to quit this job can i get a job like this ?

So I got this job around 2019 and I noticed from the very day I went for my interview, there was this woman who happened to be very lenient with me and cautioned others when they asked me tough question. if you are a PCM or currently a corper my best advice to you is ensure that you use the period to network and do a lot of planning. life wouldn't remain as it is for you after service. there would be no 33k at the end of the month and if no job is on the horizon you will regret that you never saved a part of your allowee to cater for needs after service even tho you might be a little dependent on your parent after service, i tell you total dependence on your parent can turn them to nagging parents. if you haven't gone for service or yet then do this things:

1- try an online course
2- you can draw a business plan
3- volunteer your skills
4- map out plans for your future
5- read books that will make you grow(mentally,spiritually,financially),
i agree that are some of you who must have exhausted this things i listed, please dont relent, do more and be more!!
