God is God.. Supreme and Creator of All. You don't need scientific proof to believe that... anymore than u can't see the air u breathe

Mine was ``the boy slave'. I came across that interesting novel when I was in primary six. It's a story of Shettima, a little boy who was kidnapped by slave traders in the northern part of Nigeria, spent yrs in slavery. Because of his bravery, he became loved by his master's son who, eventually, became his best friend and freed him and other slaves after his father's death. The sequel to ``the boy slave'' was ``the return of Shettima''.

I want to use this medium to say a happy birthday to Pelontus! May the Lord add more blessed years to your years!
Yeah I read the boy slave... interesting piece. but I never got oportuned to read the sequel to that
LiteratureWhat's Your Favorite African Literature From Childhood? by Legacy44(op): 11:27am On May 26, 2016
My favorite African literature has to be THE TRIUMPH OF THE WATER LILY by Stella Ify Osammor. I read the book way back in Junior secondary school. Such a powerful African piece of fiction themed in love, family, friendship, civil war, family pressures and the joys of motherhood with a tragic twist. The characters of Norman, Efua, Odili, (can't remember Odili's wife's name) along with their friends is a compelling story that is deeply Nigerian.
It's been many years I have searched for this book and I feel like its gone out of circulation.
Anyone seen/read the book? or better still have an e-version of it/where I can download one. I would be eternally grateful.

I neither deduce nor assume.
my answers were simply arrived at through simple ratio relation.
If u break down olusolaj 's answers, they all come down to 3,4 & 5 ,by mere multiplying through by 3. cool
U didnt answer my question...i said explain the last part i highlighted frm ur calculations

you mean my approach is not clear to you,
it's a right approach and the answers are correct. You can request for further explanation if u wish.
yeah...i need further explanation. I understand the following deductions:
a/c=3/5, c/b=5/4, a/b=3/4.

But how did the above translate to
a=3, b=4, c=5
because it seems like u jus guessed what should have been there...olusolaj also apparently got it 'right' cos it fitted perfectly to the question. His answer was a=1, b=4/3, C=5/3.

I can also say a=3/2, b=2, c=5/2 AND THE ANSWER WILL BE JUSTIFIABLE....it still doesn't make it right.

Pls clear workings will justify ur answer not assumptions

olusolaj:
a=1
b=4/3
c=5/3

I'm too busy to type the workings for now.
I shall show it when I'm less busy
Pls show ur working
