Wike, yarimo and their cohorts can go and cum to death
Tell Tinubu that he will lose Rivers State in 2027 for being a cunt and for refusing to caution his dog Wike. He should not forget that in no time his dog would bite him.
Wike Destroyed Amaechi's political dynasty. Fubara is here to destroy Wike's political dynasty. It will shock Wike how all his so called Political Followers will desert him when the time comes but for now he should keep drinking a 40 years old Ogogoro
Akinpedia: The Supercopa de Espana final in Saudi Arabia was a spectacle for the ages, a pulsating El Clasico clash that saw Barcelona dismantle Real Madrid 5-2 in a display of breathtaking attacking football.
The early stages hinted at a cagey affair, with Mbappe's early strike against the run of play seemingly setting the tone. But Barcelona, fueled by a relentless pressing game and a desire to avenge past defeats, exploded into life.
Yamal, the teenage sensation, ignited the Camp Nou faithful with a moment of brilliance. Lewandowski, the veteran striker, added his name to the scoresheet with a clinical finish. Raphinha, the Brazilian winger, unleashed a torrent of skill and speed, scoring twice and terrorizing the Real Madrid defence. And Balde, the rampaging left-back, capped off the first-half onslaught with a powerful drive.
The second half saw more drama unfold. Rodrygo's thunderous volley rattled the woodwork, offering a glimmer of hope for Real Madrid. However, Szczesny's rash challenge on Mbappe, deemed worthy of a red card by VAR, effectively ended any hopes of a comeback.
Rodrygo's late free-kick provided a consolation goal, but it was too little, too late. Barcelona, with their superior xG and a relentless attacking philosophy, had proven their dominance.
This victory marks Barcelona's second Supercopa title in three years, a testament to their resurgence under Xavi. Real Madrid, meanwhile, must lick their wounds and regroup. One thing is certain: this El Clasico will be remembered for years to come, a thrilling encounter filled with goals, controversy, and ultimately, Barcelona's undeniable superiority.
I was shocked seeing this match not being on front page yesterday, this Nairaland mods are no longer useful, na just nonsense you go see them to dey push go front page and they feel they are normal with their corrupt system.
Chevrolet076: Maybe because I grew up in an environment where; if you like a lady, you simply ask about her from one or two people who might know her, and if that isn't possible, you walk up to her, letting her know you find her attractive, have a little conversation to know her name, where she stays, what she does etc. If that isn't possible at the first encounter, you get her number, continue conversation on phone or if you’re more of a physical person, agree to meetup at a restaurant and speak as an adult while reasoning if she'll like to be in a relationship or not. Then move on!
But recently, i find the idea of Talking Stage creeping in where you have to be proving to her why you’re worthy, spending in gifts, expensive dates etc. Meanwhile she can be in more than 1 talking stages, maybe 4 or 5 at the same time without committing to anyone of the guys while enjoying all the benefits of a girlfriend. This can go on for up to 6 months or a year and the girl will say "We are just friends " or better "he's my talking stage"
Am I the only one who finds this absurd? As a guy, will you say she's just a friend, best friend, girl friend or what? You're not allowed to touch her, regard her as anything personal to you and she goes out with other guys, while you have to keep up with your boyfriend-love-proving journey.
What really is the use of talking stage? Or is it really another copied western culture?
Some people will argue that talking stage is to know the person, but then, what is the purpose of the dating period?

John Mbata come be wetin? Nairaland mods will not confirm news they will just move to frontpage because of peanuts.

Look at this wicked man talking about judgment. If God start with you, you go remain? Nonsense. Do you know the atrocities you committed in your 8years rulership of Rivers State? Now you've remembered God and judgment simply because Sim has decided not to play by your rules. Anu-mpa-ma

Everyone keeps talking about Justice for Hamzat and the former Queen here and there, forgetting that 35 children are involved here, you don't just sweep things regarding to children under the carpet, whether or not in was intended or not or whether or not the signs were there prior to the event or not the fact still remains that children lost their lives and those who are behind the event must be held accountable and adopting all judicial avenue to ensure justice is done but be adhered to irrespective of who is involved.
Because of what Wike is doing, that man in Aso rock will struggle to win Rivers State in 2027 same way he will struggle in Kano and if he knows what's good for him, he should advise himself because e no go funny.
SamGift0817: During the tour, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Nyesom Wike dismissed claims of having special interest in some choice plots, saying his decision to revoke some lands for non-payment of ground rents is not because the Administration is interested in re-acquiring those lands, but because it needs defaulters to pay up so that the Administration can have funds for more infrastructural development.

Wike thinks he's too big and is indispensable. He should watch how the odds would turn against him on the road to 2027.
There's always a difference when a man cooks for the public and when the public cooks for that particular man.
I am completely lost and need advice. My name is Olumide Adeyanju(Not my real name), and I’m a 42-year-old civil engineer based in Lagos. I’ve been married to my wife, Tola, for seven years. We have a son together, Jidenna, who is five years old. Our marriage hasn’t been perfect, but I thought we had something solid—until recently.
When I met Tola, she was a divorcee. She told me her first marriage to a man named Dapo Olatunji ended after three years due to irreconcilable differences and I believed her. According to her, Dapo had anger issues and was overly controlling. She said she left the marriage to protect her mental health and focus on building a better life for herself. At the time, I admired her courage, and we built a beautiful relationship.
Last month, everything changed. Tola and I were invited to a wedding in Lekki. As fate would have it, Dapo was also at the wedding. It was the first time they were seeing each other in nearly 10 years. I noticed they exchanged pleasantries, and while it seemed cordial at first, something about the way they looked at each other didn’t sit well with me.
In the weeks that followed, I started noticing subtle changes in Tola’s behavior. She began acting distant and spending more time on her phone, often smiling at her screen like a teenager in love. When I asked her what was going on, she brushed it off, saying it was just "work stress."
Then, two weeks ago, I came home early from work and found her on a video call with Dapo. She didn’t realize I was home, so I overheard parts of their conversation. They were laughing and reminiscing about their past together—things like how they used to travel to Abuja for weekend getaways and the time he bought her a surprise gift for her birthday. It felt like I was intruding on a private moment between lovers.
When I confronted her, she admitted that she and Dapo had been talking regularly since the wedding. She claimed it was "nothing serious" and that they were just "catching up as friends." But I don’t believe her. Her behavior has changed so much. She’s more secretive, and I even found out she met up with him last Saturday without telling me. She said it was a "closure" meeting, but why does she need closure after all these years?
Now I’m stuck. I love Tola, but it feels like her heart is being drawn back to Dapo. I’ve spoken to my elder brother, Kunle, and he thinks I should stand my ground and fight for my marriage. But my best friend, Tunde, says I should let her go if she’s already emotionally checked out.
I don’t know what to do. Should I confront Dapo directly? Should I give Tola an ultimatum to stop talking to him? Or should I quietly walk away and let her decide who she really wants to be with?
Please, Nairalanders, I need your honest opinions. Have you experienced or heard of a situation like this? How do I handle it?
In this modern love, love with your head not your heart. Of all the women in this world na divorcee you see? Leave divorcees for their fellow divorcees but you guys wouldn't listen. This is a total mess coming believe me. You better leave that marriage because no matter the advise we give you, it wouldn't change anything.

HMRC has refunded me about more than 700 quids on 2 occasions.
Depending on where you work, they will also refund you if you are overtaxed. I work for the govt and in my first yr was refunded above 2k cos the wrong tax code was used initially by my manager and later rectified. Those months I was overcharged, was returned with apology letter.
