Kindly tell us your most entertaining moniker here. Smellymouth used to be the funniest guy here for me until he died and his spirit reincarnated to another clown. NWAMAIKPE. ...I laugh each time I read his comments. He is funny, stupid, intelligent, heartless and unserious all at the same time.
It's very difficult to tell his tribe except from the moniker. He can bash Afonja and Igbos in just one sentence.
Tell us yours and why. |

Mcowubaba: Let's watch how it will all play out. I pray let no violence spring up, that may lead to war. We all saying referendum, restructuring, why some dimwitted persons are clamoring for War... Interesting times ahead Freedom call is never a war. Even the first war was started by Nigeria against defenceless civilians. We don't pray for wars but if the need be, we have to defend ourselves. |
Politics › Re: "We Are Not Part Of Biafra" - Ijaw Youths by legendte(m): 3:52pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
Mcowubaba: No matter what ever we are championing, we should still remember we are called Homo sapiens for a reason.
We are expected to reason better than lower animals. I quite agree with you on being a bit radical in gaining attention in Nigeria, totally peaceful dialogues don't yield much, but even at that we shouldn't become so hostile and uncanny.
A nation can't be built with so much aggression and hate, for example do you know that some Igbos that don't support Biafra are branded traitors, someone even threatened to kill me and banish my family once Biafra comes to existence, which kind of Biafra will that be
Nnamdi Kanu and his misguided group left TA Orji, Martin Elechi, Orji Uzor Kanu, Ikedi Ohakim, and dozens of Political criminals in the South East, and went to start insulting Tinubu, Atiku and Buhari.
Isn't that stupidity?,
These our Our South east Governors are amongst the most useless in the world, but we give the free pass, and go and start trolling Oba of Ile ife or one Emir in Kano.
Radio Biafra scorned Yoruba people unreasonably, during their broadcast, this was not fair to an average Yoruba man that has nothing to do with Political issues in Nigeria, Radio Biafra spread some much hate, mostly unreasonable..
Yes, I know Igbos are shortchanged in Nigeria, but not all Nigerians are the cause of our problems.
Goodluck Jonathan somebody regarded by Igbos as their own, was a president for nearly 6 years. The minister of Economy and finance was an Igbo woman Minister of Labour and productivity was an Igbo man Minister of Information and communications was an Igbo woman The Minister of Aviation was an Igbo man Secretary to the Government was an Igbo man Deputy senate president Deputy speaker Chief of armed staff Etc..... No federal road in the East was Constructed, no single one. Please kindly name one?? No new Airport was built. Only Enugu was slightly upgraded to international Airport, where does it even go to, which country
Goodluck Jonathan was a renowned idiot. Though I didn't Support Buhari, that one is a Corpse.
If we are looking for Biafra we shouldn't call everyone goats and dogs. Sanity should be applied. Some of those Yorubas are collaborators in short changing Igbos. Igbos learnt in a hard way. Traitors within caused us the war that's why some are giving zero tolerance to anything against the struggle even if you are ojukwu. Some Igbo leaders like Okorocha are not left out. You are correct in your assertion but like I said earlier, some were done to gain attention. Didn't Fayose come to the court in solidarity? Just leave all those side issues. The journey is never smooth and lots of toes will be stepped on. The most important thing is his consistency in the struggle. We have friends in Yoruba as we even have enemies among ourselves. We all can't have same opinion. |

beamtopola: I understand your angle. But the iyc are not against biafra, the support it in full and fold, and they re no enemy of southeast and will like to engage and do business with them in their due country but ijaw has her own determination and not in any way in part of biafra not hatred. The same way u people fought for good luck is the same way ijaws are supporting biafra but we re not part of biafra. We are neighbours. You have to listen to kanu's interview with some TIV people. We have common interest so why are you people insulting us? Jonathan added Azikiwe to his name during election. Did we disown him? An Igbo man is interested in his hustle more than planning evil. Our crime in this country is not bowing down to hausa and our sharp reaction to intimidation. Who was Ojukwus second man during the war? Igbo is not your problem. |

henryhemon: Like i will always say if there's call for referendum people will be shocked. Biafra isn't the solution restructuring is the solution. Is it the Igbo man that can't marry an Ngwa even though they 're from same state? Or an Anglican thinking a Catholic isn't a Christian or that he is a better christain than assemblies of God church or the one once y you start building a house or doing well n you step your leg in the village that uncle will be so jealous n make sure you beg for transport to go back?? We 're landlocked and not economically viable we cannot make it on our own if you think South South will join you ....you 're in for a shocker. We 're marginalised....restructuring is the way forward. This your strategy is not working again. There's disunity in every tribe. Ijebu and some clans in yoruba have issues. What about the public display of shame between oba and ooni. During the world wide protest, were there any division? What about the sit at home order. You will be in for a shocker. Even in your own family I am sure there are elements of disagreement. ..its normal. Lots of Igbo are United on this fight. Come to US here and you will be shocked. |

Mcowubaba: As I have said before, one of the biggest mistake IPOB made was to include any Non South East state in the Biafran agenda.
All this minorities have been fuming up and down throwing tantrum on Igbos, in the name of denouncing Biafra, and sincerely I don't blame them, some useless arrogant group of Igbos (IPOBs) brought this upon the Igbo nation.
Today, Urhobo is warning Igbos, Esan is warning, Oron, Ibibio, Efik, Ijaw are all insulting Igbo people, because of some useless IPOB members that don't hear word...
Leave this people alone, don't advise them, let them be, is that to hard to do..
People like Frathematy or so, whose tribe Urhobo is never in the news, have suddenly started becoming relevant, because of IPOB..
But funny enough, I watched the full interview of Nnamdi Kanu during the visit of some Tiv youth leaders, he said Nobody will be lumped into Biafra.
That any tribe in Niger Delta or In NIGERIA that decides to join Biafra, will do so through a referendum, and after that, the may decide to change the name from Biafra to something else to suit everyone...
Most of this silly IPOB members didn't watch that interview of their Supreme leader, I still wonder why the are still arguing with all this Minorities. Let them be, leave them alone
I am tired of them insulting my wonderful Igbo tribe, just because of your actions.
Most of this IPOB guys disgust me.
My dear this is what I have been saying too, I even created a thread about it, the also called me Yoruba Muslim.. Very useless set of humans. The don't even brain, especially those on Nairaland.
Every dick and Harry now opens their mouth to call out my tribe, because of their actions
Do I support Biafra, yes I do- to an extent, but certainly not IPOB methodologies
Kanu wouldn't be popular without those guys you are insulting. Look at chess game and learn. In wars, we have hierarchy. We have planners and executors. Believe me, there won't be any best method. Going gentlemanly in this country won't solve anything until you behave like a mad man. Those guys are sacrificing for us all. If the Biafra comes, the freedom will be enjoyed by all but the elites will continue to rule. Remember that many constitutional conferences have been organised in this country but it failed. I personally don't like Kanu's method before but I have realised that is the only way. People are just afraid of change. Same thing happened when Isreal was leaving Egypt. I have fully subscribed to any form that maybe used to achieve this and I will commit to it in whatever form. I don't want next generation to say we failed them. Kanu will definitely change some strategies when some Elites come in. Gradually we are building the consciousness and host of them are underground supporters. Definitely there would be lots of dialogue with SS when the time comes. The hausas have succeeded in the divide and rule. An Asaba can even deny Igbo because of what hausa has done and some people have fallen for it. Igbos are generally passionate about everything and you can trust them. Where were these people when we passionately and almost fought for Jonathan during and after the election. |

dapyd1: Scotland is a country. Before they had a referendum on secession from the UK, they had a working constitution, state facilities were working well. The modalities on power were worked out. Everyone knew their place.
Those calling for Biafra, taking into cognisance the news we heard this morning about a whole ibo village rejecting an ibo priest because he is not from their village, what happens when Biafra happens?
Who leads you? Is there a power sharing formular? Do you have a constitution you will abide to? Have the modalities been worked out? Which state will first have power? What happens to resources sharing?
For those in the south saying Federal Government failed you, you distort facts.
Federal government gave you NDDC, gave you 13% derivation, oil companies do a lot of CSR in your communities, invest in scholarship for you, employ your children, and gave you amnesty when you arose.
Federal government did not fail you. Your governors did. The same governors that hail from your towns.
Alameisegha took your money and squandered it. Ìbòrí did same. The list goes on. You rever and worship this people, but fight the central government. Your priorities are wrong.
Before you quote me, please read again, I talked with common sense. Please do same.
I am not an ethnic bigot, neither am I intra racist, I just believe Biafra will do more harm than good. I stand to be corrected.
You guys may eventually bite more than you can chew. It happened before, be careful to not let it happen again.
Work out the modalities, before you scream biafra. You are he'll bent on bringing Igbos down. So quick to talk about our agitation rather than discussing the reasons for the agitation. We ruled ourselves from 1967 to 1970. We still have our governors ruling us now. In fact we elect Eze everywhere we are. Nnamdi Kanu and Ojukwu have demonstrated that Igbos are good followers as long as you are just and visionary. Every tribe have their own internal fracas. What about the Ooni and Oba public display of shame. Believe me nothing can be worse than this current situation for an average Igboman. We are not talking about natural resources. Our biggest asset is our human resources and our undying spirit of survival. The entire Igbo land was destroyed and see where we are without government assistance. Despite our sacrifices to the nation. Check our sports, Education, trade, entertainment and so on. These are areas people excel without government interference and that's why we have more Igbos in those areas. We don't go to school with scholarships yet we excel because of our quest for knowledge. Finally even if we fail, why are you so concerned as if you care. Our failure, our problem! !!! |
