We must admit this is the best sport in the world and we are truly in love with football. Most especially, Champions League football. Which team made your day? And who is your favorite player for the day? Let's do this: . CHELSEA - JUVENTUS The blues are the team of the day for us. They didnt show mercy to the Old Ladies despite their age. Like Tuchel said, this team is a team no one wants to play against. In the last 5 matches, the defenders has had goal contributions. With tactics, Lukaku and Werner's absence wasn't felt. Werner was back and got a goal, Chalobah, Odoi and Reece James scored one each. . VILLARREAL - MAN UNITED Ole's Era is over but did you know Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in every Champions League match this season? His goal gave Man United the courage, and what a moment it was for Jadon Sancho to score his first goal for Man United. We have waited half for him. Van de Beek said good bye to Ole, Sancho said welcome to a new era. An important victory, rival fans tipping Carrick to stay. Can he take Man United to the next level? . DYNAMO KYIV - BAYERN The Bundesliga giant has won every Champions League match this season. Lewandowski came through again with a goal, Coman scored the second while Danis Harmash pulled one back for the home team. . BARCELONA - BENFICA We feel for Barcelona. Xavi's second match ended in a goalless draw but there is hope of qualification, though very minimal, as Barcelona needs a Miracle at the Allianz Arena against Bayern - Benefica dropping points against Dynamo is unlikely. Can they do it? . YOUNG BOYS - ATALANTA This is the thriller of the day. 6 goals, great runs, cut offs and dramatic equalizer at the death minute to share the spoils. The Champions League is ever entertaining Follow us on Facebook with our Facebook handle @casmirojinnakasblog Or www.casmirojinnaka.com.ng |

Sevilla - Wolfsburg 9.00pm 8. Malmo - Zenit 9.00pm . It's been a tradition for Casmir Ojinnaka's Blog @ www.casmirojinnaka.com.ng this season to rank Champions League teams as we introduce the new Champions League game week. Our ranking is based on which team is most likely to win the crown. This time, Dortmund has dropped out of our top 10; Barcelona is in; Man United is hanging in there. Check it out as we expect another exciting time in Europe: . 10. BARCELONA (NEW) Ansu Fati gave Barcelona hope in Game Week 4. He scored the winner and in so doing they are up to second place. Xavi and Alves returned to Barcelona since then.. Can they get their season back on track? Dortmund fell out of our top 10. . 9. MANCHESTER UNITED (PREVIOUSLY 9) Another comeback for Man U against Atlanta, but they could only draw this time. Should we say Unlucky Atlanta? Ronaldo is Man U's good luck charm in the UCL. He keeps them up. Can he give them the title? . 8. PSG (PREVIOUSLY 6) PSG could only draw last time out. Wijnaldum announced himself with 2 goals, as Messi did in game week 3. PSG are definitely a force, but they need to be consistent. That’s what they lack.. They dropped in the ranking. . 7. JUVENTUS (PREVIOUSLY ![]() The old lady seem to prefer the UCL to SERIA A this season. They always look like a different team in the UCL. 4 games, 4 wins for them. Can they win it now that Ronaldo is not in the team? . 6. AJAX (PREVIOUSLY 7) The upward thrust of Ajax continues. They continue to impress. They blew Dortmund in back to back games. Sebastine Haller is their top man this season. Can they do this? . 5. CHELSEA (PREVIOUSLY 5) Chelsea just won’t concede, and when you don’t concede, you can’t lose.. and if you can’t lose, you will definitely win the UCL ( ). Not an impressive performance, but they move. . 4. REAL MADRID (PREVIOUSLY 4) Hard fought win for Madrid. That’s a champion's mentality, they fought for their win. BENZEMA-VINICIUS combination is growing. We are impressed especially by Vinicius. His best season ever. . 3. MANCHESTER CITY (PREVIOUSLY 3) Man City needs the UCL. They came close last season but Havertz and Mendy broke their heart . They won’t allow that hold them back. They keep knocking, would the door open for them this season? . 2. LIVERPOOL (PREVIOUSLY 2) Liverpool are resilient. They know how to get the job done, on their day.. Last timeout wasn’t about the man on fire (M. Salah). Trent Alexander Arnold stole the show with his trademark pinpoint crosses, to get 2 assist for Jota and Mane. They are pushing hard for glory. . 1. BAYERN MUNICH (PREVIOUSLY NO. 1) Who can stop this group of players? Would Liverpool, Man City, Real Madrid or Chelsea do it? They seem unstoppable at the moment, they score goals for fun in the Champions League. Sane, Gnabry, Musiala, Lewandowski, Muller, name them… once they click, there’s no stopping them. The title is definitely theirs to lose. . So, what do you think? We know what we think: we just love Football. Let's have another football fun moment together. CHEERS EVERYONE!!! www.casmirojinnaka.com.ng |

1. Man City 3 - 0 Everton 2. Tottenham 2 - 1 Leeds 3. Inter 3 - 2 Napoli 4. Granada 1 - 4 Real Madrid 5. Genoa 0 - 2 Roma . Today, we were treated by Football. There was a win and goals in every match. Each moment was special. Ask Conte, he will tell you because of how he celebrated their winner. Real Madrid and City may not have much to say, they dominated. But Roma struggled till the very end they won comfortably. As for Inter's win, it's Napoli's first loss this season in Serie A, it will lift their spirits, inspire them to go for the Serie A crown again. Let's do this: . MAN CITY - EVERTON The Cityzens were back from the shock against Crystal Palace. A goal each for Raheem Sterling, Rodri and Bernardo Silva. Joao Cancelo provided as assist. Defenders are on another level this season. . TOTTENHAM - LEEDS Spurs are quickly getting Antonio Conte's gene injected in their DNA. His mentality has helped turn games around in the past and we are now witnessing another passion being displayed on the touchline for Spurs. Daniel James scored for Leeds, Hoejberg scored to draw it leveled. Another defender, Reguilon won it for Spurs. . GRANADA - REAL MADRID There is no stopping Real Madrid and Vinicius Jr. who scored his 10th goal of the season today. Marcos Asensio, Fernandez and Mendy scored one each against a nine-men Granada. Ancelotti could well be on his way to a la Liga title. If he wins it, he will be the first Manager to win League titles in the top 5 European Leagues. . INTER - NAPOLI While Milan lost its virginity yesterday, Napoli was forced to give in today and their SERIE A unbeaten run is over. Ziellinski scored first for Napoli but it was Inter who had the last laugh. Calhanoglu, Ivan Perisic and Lauro Martinez scored 3 Inter goals in a row. Dries Mertens scored Napoli's second to end the goal show. . GENOA - ROMA Get yourself a player who steps up like Felix Afena-Gyan. We bet his name is on the list of Jose Mourinho's favorite from now on. Felix came on, Felix scored, Felix got yellow carded and Felix score again. Felix is magic, magic is Felix. He changed the game in less than 10 minutes and gave Roma the much needed 3 points. The secret is, he's only 18 years of age. The Joy is we'll be seeing a lot of him. Kudos, FELIX!
