CyberG: It's Daylight Running Lights. In Nigeria however, where there is no severe fogging even during the day due to the weather, DRL is not required. Over here, even during the day, visibility can be rather bad so the lights makes it more likely that another car would be able to see your car more easily. However in Nigeria, I would guess some people whose cars don't even have DRL would deliberately switch on their headlamps to be part of the "EFIZZY"that is true. Am guilty of this too! Lolz |

I think the creation of the 6 states may to welcome, if it well deserved by the region/group of people who needs it. At least, I can boldly speak of that of OKUN STATE (from the yoruba speaking part of Kogi and minority group from Ekiti): Most people do nott even know that Kogi state is not fully dominated by the Igala's and Ebira's. There are yoruba speaking people in Kogi State (usually referred to as 'northern yorubas') and I think they deserve a new state Kogi state has been a disadvantage both politically and economically to them as they were denied of opportunities cos they are minority. Creation of state may look unnecessary with present situation in this country, but some group of people really deserves it. At least, I can speak for OKUN (yoruba state) being a state created from KOGI STATE 1 Like |

pls, let us be very careful of such frudulent scholarship scam. the one NAYEC sent was not authentic. it may just be one of the way the 'hungry' people are looking for people to prey on. Though it looks real, but it is a fake. |

The same thing was sent to me too. It was dated 11th of May, 2012. I can't just imagine why the same mail was sent to all applicants. This is most likely to be a fraud. I am doubting its authenticity. [color=#006600][/color]. Am a student of OAU. |
