Y franchasng: He will if the woman is bringing as much goodies as this white lady brought to him, but unfortunately our Nigerian sisters hardly do this; there are plenty of them doing very well financially abroad, single to the core but to go back to Nigeria to marry one struggling young man and help his destiny and also help her own, they will rather die single and lonely abroad and waste that western citizenship and opportunities God gave to them which they ought to use to help other people's lives too, black women are too stingy honestly, I am sorry to say this They prefer to die like that |

Pk01: Hmmm dangote I beg you in the name of god... please don't invest in our power sector please...you will make our electricity unaffordable to Masses Anything wrong with you? Govt cannot supply petrol, Dangote came to our rescue, today there is no more petrol scarcity. Is it not better for the product to be available, even if it is expensive. In the time of fuel scarcity, is it not more expensive to buy. So if he says he want to do power, let him do it, it is better for the thing to be available even if it is expensive, you will only buy what you can afford to use. Just like airtime, some buy #100, some buy #200, some buy #5000, some buy #10000, and some buy #20,000 and some buy #50,000. You buy what you can afford to use |

He doesn't have mouth to talk? Just to open his mouth and tell those miscreants that he is not contesting, that he not interested, they will all keep their dirty mouth shut. The other time when they were saying this, it was his wife that spoke, saying there was nothing they forgot there, and that they are not coming back. Jonathan didn't utter a word. |

Lekano2008@gmail.com Hedonisco: I gave up on Atiku after his Arise Interview, where he proudly declared that "the North is my political base", and then irritatingly tried to draw Obi into his sectional idiocy by going on to claim "just like the South East is Peter Obi's political base and the South South is Amaechi's political base".
It was at that moment that I realized that this man was not wise. Even a baby can see clearly that Atiku has no wisdom and political smartness to win a presidential election. |

If truly the issue of their suspension has not been a subject of litigation right from the high court..then the Wabara BOT can institute a fresh case to declare that Anyanwu, Ajibade and others were earlier expelled.
Because the truth is that they were expelled by Damagun and had no legal authority to remain party members.
The suit might take time but they will definitely be sacked and anyone who contests for any election under their Wike PDP will be removed in arrears. But i think that if the court declares the convention illegal, it automatically means every decision taken in that convention is nul and void. Is that not so |

Curious345: Would've have been better if we have Atiku as president and Obi as vice .
Or better still Atiku as president and kwakwanso as VP.
Anything to unseat this error we have today is fine Let Atiku go and rest, he is old enough, we don't want another president like Buhari that will be taking endless medical trips abroad, that will hardly stay at home to solve the enormous problems facing Nigeria. Obi/Kwankaso ticket is better. South will complete their 2 terms and at least South East will have the opportunity of producing their first civilian president |

Fashola dealt with tinubu Fashola's case was different. Politics › Re: NNPC Refineries Will Never Work Again – Obasanjo by Lekby25: 9:27am On Apr 27 |
Pojomojo: It’s understandable why former President Olusegun Obasanjo holds such a strong view about Nigeria’s refineries, given his past experience. But saying they will never work again may be too absolute—and perhaps overlooks what is still possible with the right approach.
First, the challenges he listed—poor maintenance, corruption, and outdated capacity—are real. Even Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has admitted the refineries are currently underperforming. However, those problems are not unique to Nigeria, and other countries have successfully revived aging refineries through proper reforms, transparent management, and credible technical partnerships.
Second, the global energy landscape has evolved since Obasanjo’s time in office. While major oil companies like Shell plc may prioritize upstream profits, there are now specialized refinery operators and engineering firms whose business is exactly this—turning around inefficient downstream assets. That’s precisely what NNPC is trying to tap into with its current search for technical partners.
Also, the success of the Nigeria LNG Limited project that Obasanjo referenced actually strengthens the case for reform rather than abandonment. It shows that with the right ownership structure, governance, and private-sector discipline, state-linked energy projects in Nigeria can work.
Then there’s the example of Aliko Dangote’s refinery. While it highlights how efficient private investment can be, it doesn’t necessarily mean public refineries are beyond saving—it simply raises the standard they must meet. Competing may be difficult, but not impossible, especially if the goal is to reduce import dependence and strengthen energy security.
In reality, the question isn’t whether the refineries can ever work again—it’s whether Nigeria is willing to implement the tough structural changes needed to make them work. That includes transparency, accountability, and possibly letting go of full government control.
So rather than writing them off completely, it may be more productive to see this moment as a test: can Nigeria finally fix what has long been broken, or will history repeat itself? Those refineries are old. They are out of the modern day technology, one other major reason why they can never work again. |

Despite all the forces against tinubu he never asked anyone to step down for him.Ariku has the right to contest and no intimidation will stop him. If obi is looking for no contest nomination he shouldn't have left Lp or he should seek another party where he will be the sole candidate. sleek214: I don't trust Obasanjo, he will scatter the opposition. Obasanjo will push for Obi ticket knowing fully well that Obi can't defeat Tinubu in the north, even if Obi use kwankwanso, sanusi, el Rufai, Emir as vice, he will be squarely defeated in the north by Tinubu. The only ticket that can defeat Tinubu is Atiku Obi. It is very simple maths. Atiku 6.9 million votes plus Obi 6.1 million votes will defeat Tinubu 8 million votes. Obi 6.1 million votes plus kwankwanso 1 million votes can't defeat Tinubu because about 85$% of Atiku s votes will go to Tinubu as a protest votes Your calculation is rubbish. Northerners go the way their leaders tell them to go. If Atiku instruct his followers to vote for Kwankaso, they will do so. |
