We can’t tell you what will happen tomorrow but we can tell you that Davido and Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz are definitely not on good terms anymore.

Davido had shot Diamond to continental fame when he jumped on the remix of his break out single, Number One which won Diamond multiple awards in his country and Africa but it looks as if the battle line has been drawn.

Diamond beat Davido to multiple awards at the just concluded Channel O awards in South Africa and from our angle it seems Davido is definitely not cool with it. Davido and his brother Chairman HKN called out Channel O for making them travel all the way down to South Africa to give them nada.

Yesterday Tanzanian rep at the just concluded Big Brother Africa, Idris won the Big Brother Africa ahead of Nigeria’s Tayo, which let to Davido tweeting “N They cheat again” shortly after the competition. This was also a sub to Diamond who also hails from Tanzania. That same yesterday, Diamond won the African Artiste of the year at The Future Awards…

Dencia, a Cameroonian singer is a controversial celebrity due to the fact that she launched a skin products called Whitenicious; which is really a bleaching cream
Nigerian dancehall singer, the sexy Cynthia Morgan in an interview with Daily Independenton November 26, 2014 denied knowing about Dencia’s Whitenicious product.

During the interview, the Lead me on singer admitted to knowing about the product but vehemently denied using it on her skin. When asked if she was a fan of Whitenicious she responded saying :

“No. It is a product everybody is talking about. There are different types of Whitenicious and I don’t know which you are referring to”

Let’s just go out on a limb here and say that from her response Whitenicious is the new politically correct name for bleaching cream.

“I have been seeing the product and people have been talking about it, but I am not a fan of it. People grow and I am sure if you checkout your pictures of five years ago you wouldn’t be the same complexion. I was a huge tom boy when I was growing up and I didn’t have time to take care of myself, but when I grew up to a certain stage I knew I had to start taking care of myself. I don’t use any product called Whitenicious, I use Vaseline. If you see my baby pictures you would realise I was never dark in complexion.” Cynthia said.

Yesterday, the House of Representatives complex in Abuja was besieged by security operatives, preventing the House Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal and other lawmakers from gaining access to the complex.



In retaliation, the lawmakers scaled the locked gate in a very embarrassing manner.



Photos of their grand disorderliness have since gone viral on the social media with different people reacting and criticizing the shameful acts happenings at the national assembly.

Nollywood actor Emma Ehumadu AKA Totolos was recently involved in a fatal motor accident which nearly cost him his life alongside his colleague Jim Iyke who was not in anyway injured.

According to the actor, he said the accident happened as a result of Jim Iykes recklessness and Jim neither showed concern or pity for his injured colleague even as a result of the accident sending Emma into a coma and suffering from a head injury. He ended up having to be flown abroad for proper medical treatment.

Kamal Ajiboye, manager of multiple award winning pop star, Davido, has just floated a new media and management company called Twenty20 Media.

NET exclusively gathered that the company has been in operation since it was registered in 2013.

Responding to NET enquiries, Kamal confirmed the existence of the firm to us.

‘Yes, Twenty20 is my company, it started in 2013, but you guys would see and hear more of it in the coming weeks’.

When asked if Twenty20 media would affect his role at HKN, Kamal replied thus: ‘Not at all, I own Twenty20 media while I’m a director at HKN so they can’t clash, Twenty20 Media will also be the company that would handle the management of Davido and all other artistes under HKN,’ Kamal said.

Chris Brown comments on the leaked footage of Ray Rice assaulting his wife, giving him advice on controlling his anger.

Earlier in the week, footage of Ray Rice physically assaulting his wife (who at the time was his fiance) on an elevator. Apart from resulting in the NFL star being let go from his team and being suspended indefinitely from the league, the horrifying video has sparked discussion on domestic violence once again, recalling Chris Brown’s assault of Rihanna in 2009.

With a new album on the way, Brown has been making the media rounds, and was bound to run into questions regarding his thoughts on Ray Rice at some point. In an interview with Sway Calloway for MTV, the singer broke his silence on the matter, recommending therapy for Rice and anyone in his position.

“Help is great. I still talk to my therapist twice a week,” he said. If I’m frustrated and I’m dealing with something, to vent and say what I’m going through so I can hear from an actual clinical person, ‘this is how you should react,’ or ‘it’s good to feel this way because feelings, emotions, and energy are supposed to come and go. It’s not supposed to stay there, you’re not supposed to keep it inside, because it’ll bottle up and you’ll become a monster.’”

Brown then went on to voice how he’s been able to deal with his anger issues. “I think it’s all about the choices you make,” he explained. “With me, I deal with a lot of anger issues from my past – not knowing how to express myself verbally and at the same time not knowing how to cope with my emotions and deal with them and understand what they are.

To Ray, or anybody else — because I’m not better than the next man — I can just say I’ve been down that road. I deal with situations and I’ve made my mistakes too, but it’s all about how you push forward and how you control yourself.

The musician’s associates confirm to Nigerian Entertainment Today he gave up the ghost today. He had been hospitalised for days.

Only God knows whatever happened that made the one and only Mr Incredible put up such a funny but yet so disturbing post on social media via the popular photo-sharing app, Instagram. You know the truth is I actually had a mighty good laugh reading it. Here’s the thing guys, M.I was kidding. I mean, he must have been kidding. He just had to be kidding… like he really thought we were going to take him seriously on such a costly joke? This is 2014 du-uh! If we reacted based on impulse to everything that crept into the media space and took us by shock every other Monday morning, we’d have all died of a heart attack by now.

I’ve gone over that note, touching as it is and I been thinking, what must have happened? How is it over? What exactly is he done with? Does a simple sorry cut it? And really, no regrets? It’s amazing the kind of things that our human impulses make us do and when these deeds are done, there’s nothing to take back… sadly. The upside would be salvaging whatever’s left of it but the issue is how many actually see the upside? M.I’s note clearly mirrors his feeling of defeat. It tells us that he’s rested on his oars and not only given in to the pressures of settling for less, he’s even thrown in the freaking towel!

No doubt, small (or big) as our industry may seem, the competition is pretty stiff out there. Music acts are jostling to maintain relevance. While the likes of 2face and Sound Sultan can boast a track record of six studio albums, there’s Wande Coal who has managed one album the last 5/6 years, Seyi Shay and Yemi Alade whose debut we’ve been anticipating in earnest and then MI and Wizkid who we’re tired and done waiting for their next album release. Regardless, nobody has caved because life hurled a few lemons at them.

No sane thinking man with a vision and a purpose, chooses to toss years of hardwork vested on a thriving career, in the garbage can. Which is why I’ve chosen to not call M.I out on publicity stunt alleges just like everyone else is doing. Instead, I think his impulses should take blame especially with the series of event that followed after his not carefully thought through slip-up. I’m sure he’s aware how much he’s looked up to by upcomers in the industry moreso, the position he occupies in the modern revolution of rap/hip-hop in Nigeria. There’s too much at stake for Mr Incredible to close up shop and head home early on a market day. Perhaps he’s nursed the thought a while now and finally thinks he can but we’re here to remind him that he can’t ‘cos we won’t let him.

At this point, I’m reminded of his cut on DJ Jimmy Jatt’s I Am Legend. Sometimes, these superstars need be reminded of where their strength lies and how to keep firing on (one of the many perks of having us as fans). So whatever the turf, he should find solace in those exact words he spat on the track’s fine bars ‘cos by and by, que sera sera!

Ubi Franklin was involved in a car accident last night and is currently in the hospital. Read his story below..
In Every situation Give Thanks. I had a few friends who were celebrating Birthdays last nite and in was invited to party with them at a Club on Victoria Island. I got into the car and was so tired to Drive to one of my friends Drove, on our way back I saw a friend I haven’t seen in a while at another club trying to park I stopped to say hi and we entered the second club after a few minutes I decided to leave, right outside the club is a shawarma spot I got some and then I and my friends were headed Home and I was trying to eat my sharwama while my friend drove us home. That’s the Last I could remember. I found myself covered with Airbags and I came out of that car that tumbled and a good Samaritan took us to the Hospital. I am here asking anyone who can Pray or who is about to Pray!! To put me and my friends in Prayers God saved us all. Thank You and Good morning #ubifranklin.
I think all this Celebrities should know how to control themselves whenever they leaves Club House.
