Career / Re: Since I Slept With My Staff She No Longer Respects Me Pls Advise Me by lekonso: 12:54am On Apr 16
Learn your lesson from today. You don't sleep with an irresponsible woman. She will disgrace you in the public. Even if you are tempted with the beauty of any woman, first study her character very well. If she is an irresponsible woman, especially if you are working in the same place, she will spoil the work for you. If you maltreat her, she will start gossiping around the work place, spoiling you that, you have slept with her. There is no evil, an irresponsible woman cannot do.

Na lie be that. If you have 25m, your desire for security and peace will be jacked up, these things are not present in Nigeria, therefore you will want to leave

Your head correct, no be small. Atiku and Wike are the problems of PDP. They are the ones that allowed APC to win the last election. If PDP is in power today, many things would have be revealed to the nation, that the current govt is keeping secret.

Why did you Shaibu not resign before the impeachment. Nigerian politicians are very selfish and greedy. Now you have lost out completely. No entitlements, nothing, does that not look stupid?

My sister, it is very risky to stop going to church, when you were a regular church goer before. You will loose the operation of the Holy Spirit in your life, and that can be very dangerous. Please locate another church near you, and involve yourself in a service unit, by that you will be committed and not just stop anytime you want.

Imagine all of you commenting on a post you neither read nor understood. You saw the headline and rushed to the comment section and started typing... See 'intelligent' Nigerians! 🙄

What the post is saying is that before you can enter the UK on a skilled work visa, you must get a job that pays a MINIMUM of £38,700 instead of the old requirement of £26,200. This means it's now harder to enter the UK via work visa route as a foreigner![/quote]

Do you expect Wike to labor in vain?
No governor will allow himself to be turned into a complete puppet because someone helped him to win an election. Even if he is son, at a point he will revolt.

Free education and healthcare comes at the price of a very high tax rate that if any of our leaders charged that here, there would be 'blood'.
Which blood go comot. When you see valuable things the govt is doing with the tax, who will complain. Why will someone complain when you yourself enjoyed free education and good health care with the tax system. They are using the tax money to provide for you, what you yourself cannot provide for yourself.

One man wants to continue to keep Rivers state in his pocket.

If you like impeach Fubara and bring Wike's twin brother, they will still fight.

There is a level of control which you cannot exhibit in an adult governor, even if he is your son.

If you like impeach him, there will be many more Fubaras if your master doesn't let go of his third term aspiration.
You are 100% right, your head correct, no be small.

Obidients see your leader, he wants to build a new Nigeria, but he is not interested in building a strong party. And he wants to snatch power from an incumbent president that built a strong party before taking a shot at the presidency. He better doesn't waste his time and resources.

When the Hausas and yorubas were incharge of the party, there was no issue but now it is their turn, you can see how they have turned everything upside down.

Did you also observed that the key members of the NWC executives and BoT are all from the same side of the country.

Go to NLC, you will also observe that the key members are all from the same side of the country.

Lesson: Always check yourself in the mirror before you abuse others.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Do You Regret Leaving Your Lucrative Nigerian Job For Abroad Menial Job by lekonso: 5:13pm On Mar 25

Yea, Briefly..
Graduated as a geologist in 2008, served '09. Got a job as a site supervisor 2010 and started with 35K but was 50k when I left the company in 2018. Got a high prospect job with one of the oil servicing companies 2018 and I was elated. pay was good, in excess of 300k. Then Nigeria happened. After a few months we were replaced by guys from the north (the chairman of the company is from Kano, and he literally replaced us with his kinsmen). I felt betrayed, and I made up my mind to leave, at least to where hard work is rewarded. Migrated with my family 2022 to Canada, and God has been faithful. I am not there yet, but I have hope now, I have a clear path and direction, I can plan. There are obvious challenges, but I hang on to the positives. Currently running a post grad diploma. Miss home, food, social circles, but I need the money, comfort and security too. I cant complain. Grateful to God for his mercies in all.

Please and please, if you want to japa, have the proper documentation and follow the routes approved by the government, the system will take care of you.

My 2 cents
Thank you very much. You are the only one i can perceive giving an honest response here.

I think the bold is overly simplistic.
PS: I speak about life generally and not about any particular location.

There are lazy people who have succeeded - such is life. One bum has a contact who succeeds say at politics, and boom! Or one talented but lazy artiste pens just one song, and boom! Or forget all these. Lets be more direct. Lazy man wins the lottery - boom! Or lazy woman meets billionaire who likes her bum bum - and boom!

There are hardworking people who will die not just in poverty, but in the worst kind of desperate, wretched poverty.

Life is a mystery. Believe you me, I am not saying hard work isn't good - it's great (best when its smart work) - I am just saying life is a many-splendored thing.

Someone once said he had seen slaves go on horseback while princes go on foot.
You are 100% true

You don't need to threaten him.
He can spend the money and get away with it.
He can claim he was also expecting transfers from other sources.

The only thing they can do is wait till he has enough to refund them (if at all he wants to)
Individuals are responsible for wrong transfers and not the receiving account details.
If he is expecting money from other sources, is it an excuse for not finding out the source of a money received into your account before beginning to spend from it?

Plus the fact that, he is not even a smart politician. If he contests in 2027 again, he will still loose. He has lost his chance of winning by not staying in one place.
