adioolayi: At the University back then...40% is a pass mark. I don't think that has changed. Stop protecting the interests of those that failed...there will always be one thousand and one excuses on why students fail! Condemn this act in its entirety... Failure is bad...no two ways about it. Those affected if should brace up in their future endeavors. Before a student is asked to withdraw ...he/she will be on probation..a lifeline to make things right...Failing afterwards shows they just can't cope. That's the simple truth..though bitter! bros thank you,u mentioned probation but in this case no probation,,, they were withdrawn at the end of the 100 level session,, that's bad seriously,,,, very wrong...this is a country where things are not fine by you withdrawing dem now to start again, how will it be? it will make admission more tough for the new SSCE graduate ,,this is not progress but retrogression in the education sector.... |

macteeatlarge: The university should do a soul searching on why such a large number of students have been asked to withdraw. In other climes the lecturers would be sanctioned for inability to impact knowledge. These same students met the minimum standards before admission few months ago yet you are asking them to withdraw. If your admission process is flawed then those involved should be sanctioned. My point is that the university should hide her head in shame and not celebrating asking fresh students to withdraw after just a year. It's mainly a sign of system failure and not incompetence of the students! the only correct post since,,,, Nigerians r so foolish,,,,y r they blaming the students? |

I view people who would try to paint all problem as spiritual as simply mentally Lazy. Saying a problem is spiritual is trying to push every form of solution away. This is our biggest problem in Africa, anything that is out of scope we would label it spiritual so that we would not try to solve it with our brains rather we would try to look for one fictional being to blame. pls wat r u saying? forget civilization,,,this is Africa ,,our origins are linked with witchcraft, darkness and spiritual and evil things ....don't be deceiving yourself... so definately spiritual is necessary. |

[quote author=malvisguy212 post=41903937]first. you should've say you're a muslim, or are you ashamed ? And secondly, if you know me, you will not say this word to me. If you can compromise your belief, good for you, I cannot. Do you really think after 600 years, God will send muhammed with a contradicted message ? Why will God waited for soo long before He will send muhammed to say they crucify Him not ? Those who have died before muhammed came with his message, who will take the blame for their unbelief ? God or satan ? Have you read the quran ? Their is NO place in the quran which talk about unconditional love, if their is provide it let us see. The quran say Allah love the believers and hate the unbelievers. This contradicte the nature of God in the bible (this is the MAIN reason the God of the bible want to reconcile us to Himself)its pointless talking with you,,,just little conversation you get paranoid,,,,I will never reply you again. |

I just keep wondering...Nigerians gave forgotten the $49b which got missen like spirit from NNPC's account, the Halliburton scam, and so many other fraud. the only reason PMB is taking this case seriously is solemnly because its in relation to d PDP campaign n hw they got funds for d presidential campaign not d interest of acquiring arms at heart. thou I'm not in support of who so ever or what so ever but let dis fight against corruption not b a sentimental fight it should b plan n just. obailala: With what funds would they re-build the economy?.... Buhari plans to borrow N1.8trillion to fund the budget, you criticise him for borrowing too much. Now he wants to recover billions of dollars stolen just recently to help buffer the budget, you still criticise him for trying to recover looted funds. So I ask you again, with oil prices now at $31/barrel and the nations forex reserves still plunging further, is it with sand that the economy will be built?
What kind of opposition is this for Christ's sake?... How can any normal human even be opposed to the recovery of stolen funds?
Of course for now it is still Dasukigate alone and you guys are all so opposed to it. Definitely the N1trillion mentioned here is not part of Dasukigate and when investigations for that starts, and also when the investigations for NNPC and Customs etc. starts, you guys will still complain.
How on earth can any normal human even be opposed to the recovery of his/her country's funds?... Is this just a case of someone wishing himself bad and wishing his country bad all because he doesn't like the face of the current ruler?.... What is really going on for Christ's sake? so its only through those recovered funds from dasuki gates that he will be able to build our economy? What happened to our Agricultural sector? this man is a farmer? what has he done about it,,,, is. it that there is no money in the government account for him to use to implement Agricultural programs for youth and farmers in Nigeria.....if he should try Agriculture he will recover all this loot recovery in just a little period . So u Nigerians should stop putting all your eggs in one basket,,,recover sure but also do some other things to yield success ....after all this administration right from day one has always been known for digging past event. We need productive things for now through various sectors nobody is against recovering looted funds. |

manmacho: Don't misquote me my boosting is not in what i did or not do is what the power of God is doing through me.
you claimed your self that you are human and are prone to sin, that is why am saying you are addicted because you do it every time.
in as much you hate to do it but because of the weakness of your flesh you could not do otherwise
the solution is what jesus christ offers. you cannot continue to sin and hope that grace will abound God forbid.
romans 6 1-2
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
YOU CAN BE DEAD TO SIN THROUGH THE REDEMPTIVE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST I guess you can never commit sin again? is that Right? |
Islam › Re: Why Muhammad Could Not Do Miracles by leksbore(m): 10:08am On Jan 12, 2016 |
manmacho: Sir, you are already addicted to sin, is the nature you carry. all your life you have been committing one sin or the other so it is already an habit you just have different way of showing it.
the truth is that you can never stop sinning without accepting the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. you need to be saved from the body of sin so that sin will not continue to conquer you. me addicted to sin lol u make me laugh,,if only you know what you are saying. u know what really pains me about some Christians like u, is that you believe that you people are clean, holy and pure and so quick to judge people |
Islam › Re: Why Muhammad Could Not Do Miracles by leksbore(m): 9:52am On Jan 12, 2016 |
manmacho: Are you saying because God forgives sin we should continue to sin and hope to be forgiven since we are only human
even in human setting as remorseful as an arm robber may be in judgement they still must face the wrath of the law
every soul that sin shall surely die.
Redemption is Christ saving us from the nature of the flesh which is easily dispose to sin. this is the only time you can have power over sin -Rom 6 14
YOUR QUOTE - NOT THE BOLD (ROMANS 3 22-27) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who [b]justifies those who have faith in Jesus all you have to say is if you sin ask for forgiveness but pls don't make it an habit |
