Christianity Etc › Re: Religion Has Killed Rational Thinking Of This Country - Prof. Osundare by leksbore(m): 1:53am On Jan 04, 2016
awoluyi:
. What have you read in prof Osundare's write-up that convinced you that he has erred and as a result he deserves to be punished? You are definitely one those who can not think right because of the way you hold religion. Apostle Paul with his inpressive devotion to things of God never enjoyed good health. Recently a highly revered pastor was murdered by his undergraduate son in a church camp. Lack of proper understanding of the holy books is responsible for the manifested deficency in the way we look at issues. When Moses got to the Red Sea, he became confused and couldn't think of what to do. God asked him "Moses what do have in your hand?" God was demanding of him to use his common sense and initiative. To me prof Osundare has not condemmed religion, he has simply said we should strike a balance between our religious beliefs and application of intellect. Will I be right if I say after all "Religion is a product of intellect".
O ye humans, what art bewitched you,,,,,u see there is this saying that as a man thinketh so is he,,,,,u think before prof came up with this write up,he wouldn't have been thinking in his mind that there is no God.

Can you see how religion has ripped you off of empathy and compassion? That's what mindless religion does to weak minds.

Whether you're religious person or not, challenges are a part of our existence; ALL men MUST have a fair share of challenges and difficult times.

God isn't dealing with the Prof in any way. The current area pastor of my RCCG has a kid with an hearing aid fixed visibly on the left side of his head. That's life.

Once you lose your compassion, your humanity is GONE. There's no heaven for cold hearted fellows.
Oga say wateva u like,,,I ave said what I know and dats what I will say final.

I can relate to this. I gained admission into the unversity to study English Language, of course I never dreamt of studying english in this my life. I had a jamb score of about 241 and I made distinction in my waec. But I wasn't patient enough to wait another year to write jamb again to study Law. I decided to study the english but I lost interest in school which resulted to spill. I graduated at the age of 22 instead of 21. I'm serving next year June by God's grace. I took advantage of the numerous strikes to study fashion and design in an academy in lagos, right now, to me, ny certificate doesn't even mean anything to me.
pls wats d name of d fashion academy in nugeria

Anyone who say's Kunle deserves it is a big hypocrite and a very wicked person. That kind of person can kill someone to have revenge against him/her for even the tiniest of disagreement. Women can be very wicked. I'm sure she would have been shedding crocodile tears to make her family, friends and the police believe her. What kind of world are we in?

End Time Women.

How do you guys manage to think these things without even looking at the evidence?
He had the chance to prove his innocence, but I guess the Nigerian in you guys will never really let you see beyond your noses. Sometimes, I wonder less that Nigeria is in the quagmire it is in when people like you are around there.

Merely from the child's statements, it is very apparent that the man might have done what it's claimed he did. Not just in the mode in which she delivered her testimony, but also considering that if she was lying, she would have been jailed instead.

The man was arrested while "he was trying to go to Nigeria to bury his mother". Isn't it just evident that he was trying to escape justice? Wouldn't an innocent man stand to sort himself out?

And isn't it so convenient that he said she was raped in Nigeria, where the law's hand of justice will not reach? And shouldn't he go out to identify "the neighbourhood boy" he claimed was raping her when he saw them?

This man appears as guilty as a boy caught with his hand in the soup pot, and it's just okay that he is getting what he deserved.
This is their type,,,,, I just pity your partner ,,he don enter hell

I believe in a higher power. specifically Jehovah. I have no choice. I am only human. We are all wired to believe in things greater than us e.g the nature spirit by the Indians, the Greek gods, budha, "the force" in star wars grin (can't wait for december 18th) etc. Now, since i believe in Jehovah, i will make use of the greatest gift he gave me when he created me. FREE WILL. The ability to make my own decisions and choices, with the use of full or partial knowledge. Come on people. Use your heads. It is obvious that a lot of the pages in the Bible are either missing or incomplete. For example, In the book of Genesis, God created Adam and Eve and they had two sons. Then all of a sudden there are millions of people gallivanting all over the planet. Who did Cain and Abel sleep with that enabled the planet multiply so rapidly? Another big one for me are the miracles being performed today. I believe Jesus Christ existed and performed miracles, well, because he is the son of God. But these days, with these shylock pastors we have running amok amongst us? Bro please undecided Common sense should tell any sane human being that we are being taken for a huge ride. "Touch not my anointed" my foot. Of what use is my God given gift of freewill if i am going to be a zombie. Phuck that. The original bearer of good tidings (Jesus Christ), went about his business spreading the gospel in sandals and riding a donkey. These muthafuckers are buying billion dollar jets with your money. You saying Jesus couldn't afford a mercedes benz chariot if he wanted one? Or wear the best gucci robes? The way to spread the word of God is to use your tithe to build schools we can all afford, build hospitals for the less privileged and shelters for the homeless. Not build stadium like churches. Come on people, use your heads.
fact bro nice one but God said it all, my people perish because of lack of wisdom
