3751R 18315. Don't know the dish size required. But can try with 1.8m or 1m. I just checked for you so just try. You can use lynsat to confirm

If you are using old dstv decoder I don't know it can support fta. Those supporting FTA are Thier latest once. But you can try and inform the page. You can WhatsApp me don't call +233272080294

In my experience anytime but the programs will be blocked by dstv if that happens hold the power button it will reboot the decoder. But you must have already track the FTA bird first. Don't use the dstv decoder to track its quite boring.

Yes
But the satellite you want to watch must be in A or 1
So you have to be changing it any time you want to switch the satellite you have tracked.
NB. Let the NIT be off if you have not track dstv

How To Scan Any Free To Air(FTA) Channels On DSTV Explorer Receiver

First of all, remove the ‘LNB in’ cable at the back of the DSTV decoder.

Power ON the decoder and ignore the notification messages displayed on the TV screen indicating ‘No Signal’.

Press the DSTV or MENU or Blue button on the decoder’s remote controller.

While on the menu, Navigate to ‘SETTINGS’.

Choose ‘SATELLITE SETTING’.

Select ‘ADDITIONAL NETWORKS’.

Choose ‘NETWORK 1’.

Switch ‘Enable Network’ to ‘YES’.

Now you will notice that other information in the network 1 window is editable.

Scroll down to “frequency” and input the satellite TV free to air (FTA) frequency you want to Scan.

Scroll down to “symbol rate” and input the symbol rate figure.

Change the polarization to that of the satellite you want to track.

Check the signal bar for signal status

select ‘SCAN THIS’.

Please wait for the scanning to complete.

After the completion of the scanning; Dial ‘221’ on the remote control.

Press and go to the “Channel List” and you will see the free to air (FTA) channels added to the list.

Select the channel you want to watch and enjoy.

Brothers I have discovered something. Using DSTV decoder for FTA is enjoying. They have a good tunner which can stand the breaking of nigcomsat 42.5e. you can try if you have a dstv decoder. FTA rules

Yeah I've tracked BeIN sport.

My AlJazeera signal strength is 89% and the quality is 86% but my BBC is not displaying.

I'm using strong 4955b recorder.

Even when I increased the quality of the Al Jazeera it still cracking so I think it's a matter of sacrifices one channel to get the other. I can't still track the bein sport on the tstv position. Please give me the tp and position to track this bein sport. I have tried the whole day

Am not getting these channels on my decoder. Am using qsat 26. Am getting afa sport. BBC MBC on the tstv. But never got the bein sport. What am I doing wrong

Am in Ghana and yes tstv is the primary. Will send a picture of my set-up. Fox TV and Nat Geo wild flactuate even at 64% a.f.a sports is the worst don't come at all when am lucky it comes for 30mins

Am I the only one witnessing this intermittent scrambling of sports 24 channels. You can not watch 5minutes without scrambling. I have to change the channel then back for it to show again. Didn't enjoy Chelsea match on 24.

Just increase ur quality signal. Am using Q26g n watch everything without scramble
