My own take is that if u guys like o, relax... just know that its becoming a hopeless situation, the thing here is we are never together, Indians came out and cried out their country opened their airspace today but if it's Nigeria, people will come and be writing long epistles, and saying rubbish, If we are to call the federal government on Twitter now, people will still condemn it, Nigerian students went on twitter to call out the government on school reopening, guess what, our government has began to act, we are too scared to make d changes we seek, up on till now we have zero knowledge of when international flights will resume, since march 21 oo, oya na make we all dey here suffer am.

Sincerely, its amazing how we think, especially we that called ourselves graduates.
For God sake stop the tweet. I have not seen your tweets and I will not check, because it will be annoying to me that is even a Nigerian.

This is part of the "eyes with which Germans look at Nigerians" we are always in hurry (especially when you tell them you live in Lagos) and desperate. Desperation could also be a sign that one can do anything; including fraud.
Stop sending the wrong signal.
Did Ghanaian tweet before they start interviewing them?
If you are a German, will you consider a Nigerian ahead of a Ghanaian on moral basis? Let us be sincere to ourselves and not be blindfolded by our emotions.

Am forced to now mention this, I am a DAAD, PhD scholar. I returned to Nigeria with a valid residence permit in February for my field work. Unfortunately my return flight was cancelled in Marco by the airline due to the pandemic, and I could not travel back. Unfortunately again my residence permit expired at the end of March and I couldn't travel before they because of the lock down and travel restrictions both in Nigeria and Germany. Unfortunately again I couldn't book for a new visa because embassy is closed. Both my supervisor and DAAD wrote to the embassy but nothing could be done because even with a valid visa I can't even travel because of the restrictions in place. Or would have have chattered a plane from Nigeria to Germany?

I am even permitted to apply to another certificate (by the virtue of my residency and the situation on ground) that entitle me to travel without a visa. But I didn't apply for that until last week when interstate lock down was lifted, and I hope international restrictions will be lifted by Nigerian Government in two months..

Al am saying is that; I am more willing that visa procedures resume soon than anyone here. But we must show some level of literacy, understanding and calmness.

All "we" do on tweeter only indicates that we lack proper understanding of the current situation.

That is why I don't blame those criticizing WHO and the leader been and African because of the way they handled the issue when it first started.

If you are a CEO of a "company name Germany", is what you are telly Germany to do now because you are a Nigeriam what you all do?
sorry all this your epistle makes zero sense.

Have posted let us try and post to then retweet and like eachothers post.
I will suggest we get a blog to write about this with the Twitter buzz going on, referencing the tweets then we create a thread and try to push it to front page, then its global.

Not bad. I like that too, have spoken to a friend of mine that's into trends and he said I should draft tweet that he will put it on his trend group. So we are gonna hit the ground.. But first for to @GERinNigeria and comment under that stuff me and the guy comment on.
There should be a tag on blogs, Linda ikeji, Sahara reporters and co.

We can just agree on a tag to use and we can distribute it around and people tweet about it tagging the germany consulate in Nigeria, they will see it.
Do those guys have a verified Twitter handle, tag all regular parries.

The indians are an example. They didn't stop disturbing, Consulate General had to put a video on YouTube. Here in Nigeria, they are just quiet
Nigerians are just like this, dem nor dey cooperate. Rather they won't act, just wait and do nothing.

Someone should kindly help me. I had booked an appointment with the embassy in Nigeria since April 2nd but they are yet to get back to me. I want to ask if I have to book another appointment at the embassy or should I wait until they sent me booking appointment? Or is there a way to fast track the process? I will be anticipating your response. Thank you.
My brother no one can tell you what's going on, there are so many possibilities, the embassy said they are not accepting applications and they will tell when it will change, so its possible we might rebook again we are waiting for their info, Benin, Ghana, Kenya all are going for interviews but it seems the German embassy are tired of Nigerian students, even south Africa with over 100000 cases are getting interviewed, it shows how life can be so bias, and worse is that they choose their dates, the German embassy here treat us like shit, causing emotional pains and making people stagnant, They should do whatever they want. They won't even reply mails, they post articles on their website and don't go ahead to implement it, with a country like Nigeria any one can do anything.

Please bro, help put light into this, we no understand, is like say na lantern u dey use tell us and we no see, help us on gen, u know say na naija we dey, no light

What I am saying in essence is that, I would like you to explain better, I believe there is more to what you said but you summarized above.

The attached is coined from bremen website.

I know you guys understand what you are saying, but make us understand too.

Why I said this is because "semester fee" is compulsory and not optional if you intend to attend the school; it is a means to show that you accept the offer.
Most schools allow enrollment before payment of semester fees but Bremen wants payment of semester fee now, which is good, but with this embassy wahala with Appointment date, no one is sure and they do not refund, my friend paid last year. Look down your admission letter there is a statement that says you are to pay your semester fee latest 15/07/2020. its on my letter so that's what I was saying.

ok that’s a good idea. Do I need toefl or am good with the ND cert. and what state will be favorable and cheap for someone studying and looking to work too
Use your HND to apply, German universities do not accept ND for BSc, they accept 100 level transcript or HND.

Hello house, i have an MBBS degree and as we all know MBBS is not classified in Nigeria and many other countries into 1st, 2nd or 3rd class. Just pass written on our certificates. I also graduated after January 2018. Should i book under category A or B?
You are in category A, that's if you didn't finish latter than 2018. A fellow MBBS guy asked this question last year, called the embassy and they said he is in category A, but please note the year of graduation.

Thank you! I just came across it on their website as well. One more thing does it mean if I dont have a first class I cant book with Cat A? I'm a second class upper graduate with 3.58, I guess I fall in Cat B?
Yes you are in cat B, except you have a German scholarship or u going for your PhD, not all first class can book with cat A, you must not have graduated latter than 2018. You are in category B.

Please I have questions which goes thus; Is it effective booking through the email directly rather than booking on the online platform? What do you suggest? Also If I choose to book through the email please through what email should I send the email requesting to be booked for? Thank you
Hello Sir, the embassy don't allow booking through E-mail.

Is it advisable I book for an appointment yet. For winter semester

Please let someone give answer to the question
Tired of this question here, so let me quickly and lastly address it. No one is sure what is going on, that's if you should book or not, or whether this winter will be possible (thanks to the embassy). People are booking, so I advice you book, but NOTE: The embassy wrote that they are currently not accepting visa applications, so my guy everyone might have to cancel and rebook again, so you see! no one is sure, so my advice is please book, and he alert on this thread to know the latest update from the embassy (That's if they will) whether to cancel or not, it's been a terrible year and the embassy seems to make it more terrible.
