deoyel25: Hello all, I just started following this thread again yesterday. Even though I have done my WES and IELTS since last year, I decided to wait for the EE instead of FSWP. I just created my EE profile yesterday and I started swimming in the pool few minutes afterwards. I have been encouraged by all the contributors to this thread and I also want to render the little help I can. I have a very good IELTS material (which I used myself). Its The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS Student's Book with Answers. All the audios for the listening tests and 17 sample videos from live speaking tests are included. You can PM me if you need the materials and I will send you the download link (1GB approximately). Its now your duty to find a way of downloading it. Cheers and goodluck to all.
Hello moderator, I think it is better to create a dedicated thread for Express Entry. I can see that someone tried to achieve this in this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/2064942/canada-permanent-residency-express-entry but you redirected the individual to this thread, which is originally for FSWP. Since both FSWP and EE are entirely different, I think it is better all the information relating to each are placed in their respective threads. Pls send to bpfoundation.org@gmail.com. Thanks |

Been a while dearies. Congrats to all new mums.
Just want to share my recent experience with my Dropbox.
Our visas (mine, daughter and hubby) is expiring this Feb so we decided to renew end of Jan due to all this election brouhaha.
We applied for Dropbox and hubby got called that we should show up any Monday or Wednesday BTW 12 & 2pm for an interview. I was shocked because I know few people that weren't called during their renew process.
We chose to go this past Monday and the interview went thus:
Hello Hello
You had your baby when? July 2014
Can I see the receipts? Handed over the receipt
How much were you billed? $2888
Is this with doctor's fee and ..? Yes
What? Its not possible (Scratching his head and still insisting its not possible. I handed over my zero balance and told him to call them for clarification.
Still terrified and asked where I and hubby works, what we do where we work. Countries we've visited. Why we are traveling again.
Lastly, pick up your visas on Thursday.
Whew!
A lady I met was also called and she came from Port Harcourt and had her baby in the US. I couldn't wait to know the outcome of her interview.
Pls ensure you get all your documents intact and your zero balance is highly important regardless of how much you paid. |

I wish you said this same thing in 2011 when your GEJ was boycotting debate instead he chose to be asked by a mere DBANJ.. I beg you to allow GMB decide on what he wants. luvmijeje: This is just an excuse, If indeed the questions were leaked, they should also find a way to get access to the leaked questions. |

damkollins: 1.The decision is entirel left to you both....both of you seems eligible to a certain extent. Both of you can use the link below to individually check your eligibility.... and conclude on who to be principal applicant. http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/getting-started.asp 2.Its preferable you do the highest of your academic degrees especially if you envisaged delay in evaluating both. Please note that the cost of evaluation is same regardless of the number of degrees an individual is evaluating. From my experience,Hubby's evaluation os UK's masters will be fast. Both of you should evaluate your Msc degrees. Evaluating both increases your points and chances just as IELTS test for both of you will do. Cheers. Thanks for the speedy response and the test materials. |

Hi All, Great forum and members I must commend.
Can u please send me online practice questions for ielts to bpfoundation.org@gmail.com.
My questions are; Between myself (4yrs) exp with Naija masters degree and hubby (8yrs+) exp now doing biz with Uk masters degree, who should be the principal applicant?
2. Is it only the highest qualification dat should be evaluated? And should it be both of ours?

Congrats to those that got their visas. @CfCchick, try Anchorage point as well. I wanted to go there but changed my mind to avoid boredom. Yea, Crossland is a bit far from the hospital but the Nigerians there rock! It feels like home cos you at every point in time have people to gist with, you go shopping together and sometimes eat from eachother when one is too tired to cook. cfcchick: Thanks dear..actually looking for a 1 bedroom /2 bedroom not studio. My mum inlaw and hubby will b coming along |

I thank God for a successful birth and now in transit to go back home. I had a great time in Phoenix with wonderful people in Crossland. Here is a tip to get your baby's document in good time; =Go to the closest vital office when you are strong enough to go out as the birth cert is ready like 3days after birth. The popular office is 3003 W. Thomas road and it's $20 per copy. =Enroute afterwards to the post office, the most popular amongst my clique is at 520 N Central Downtown Phoenix. The officers would snap your baby's passport photo and ensure you have your notary letter if your hubby isn't around (notary public is acceptable). Total cost is about $196 and you will be mailed your baby's blue passport in less than 2weeks. =Once you receive your baby's passport, start the Nigerian visa application immediately. Follow the instruction on the website and you can call the embassy on (202) 986-8400 ext 1043 for more info. Kindly endevour to apply yourself as the process is quite easy. Your child will be granted 2yrs visa, printed visa and not handwritten, record is on immigration portal. Do not use an agent pls. Fill up the online application form on SW Global LLC website, purchase money order of $180 and send it to their address via post. Link up the serial no of your money order to your online application so they can easily acknowledge when they receive the hard copy. Call them for follow up on 860-693-4630. Then send a copy of your SW Global receipt and acknowledgement copy, 2 passport photographs, baby's US passport, copy of baby's bcert, copy of parent's bio data page of Nigerian passport, consent letter jointly signed by both parent, $30 money order for processing. Package it and send to Nigerian Embassy in Washington DC via a return overnight envelope which is $40 for to and fro...... Total for the visa and postage is appx $250 and you will receive it back in a week.
This is just my token.... I wish you all safe delivery and a good time. Love u |
