You bought a new phone and it doesn't charge up to 100% and starts discharging while still on the charger.

Some have an unbranded battery.

Issues are already arising on a phone that is not up to a week old.

Picture quality is poor based on the pictures above.

Can just imagine jumia singing "GODWIN" and remixing DMX song " we are gonna make Nigerians lose their money, up in here, up in here"

Would prefer connectify

Can you continue?
Part two will be uploaded in the next two days. Though it's easier with the applications but it's important you understand the principle of how to set it up when issues arise.

The launcher on that phone had no main menu. All the apps are on home screen. Change the launcher.

if u can get a kernel that has EXT4 support its better to format it to EXT4, u just won't be able to read the card on windows systems, which is not a bad thing if u ask me...... wink

searched amazon and google, couldnt find that name...
Okay, I will.

Sorry, it's Amazon.

I've learnt that cards of any size will work on any decent device, you just have to format it to fat32 with a disk utility as android itself and Windows disk utility will refuse to format cards above 32gb.

A relief to know.

Give me a link to that 128gb card pls.
Search for Kared 128gb micro SD card with adapter $30. Free shipping. Having issues with my courier, would have bought it since.

My issue with fat32 is the 4gb limiting of files.

Strange. i've been looking through xda archives and i can't seem to find anyone talking about this.

i don't believe the function is hardware related.......... sigh.

time is scarce these days
I know about swapping the external memory with the internal memory and I once expanded the NAND memory space, sacrificing the internal memory but that was an mk808. Have never done the opposite, always assumed the device would support it. And there's this 128gb for 8k I have been eyeing on eBay...

where my dudes?

know these devices that support card *up to **gb*?

anyone found a way to increase that capacity?

like make a device support 64Gb or 128Gb card when its originally listed as supporting up to 32Gb cards?
No clue

It's not their custom and tradition but it's a very big problem in Edo state. I served in a village in Edo state and cultism is not limited to JSS. Even in primary school, the class 5 and 6. Can't count the number of fights that occurred, usually between rival cult groups or over a girl. Even the girls are not spared. Most times I wonder what their future will be like.

i can see that the component labelled Q is some kind of semi-conductor from the NPN, and PNP divisions...do you mind specifying which kind of semi-conductor it is ?
Have you had any luck with the diagram? For some strange reason my output is very low, even without the resistors. Gave up and ordered some DC-DC converters that will arrive soon.
Phones › Re: The Original USB Condom by Leopantro: 7:44pm On Jun 03, 2015
@ Fulaman198, what's up? Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope okay.

From the 2011 Defcon conference, it was observed that even such USB cables allow data transfer on some phones. The only option is to switch off the phone before charging.
By default Iphones need about 2A to pass through the data pins before it will charge or else it will tell you " Charger not supported". However, except you can automate iTunes I don't see how this will work on Iphones

well most Nigerians, like the two posters above, will not appreciate it. i move around with a charger and a powerbank so i never have to use a charging hub. however, since the concept of juice-jacking is alien to most Nigerians, i wonder if i can utilize a rasberry pi to set up a juice jacking usb hub station to retrieve just contacts, sms and whatsapp logs.

Science/Technology › Re: Made In Nigeria Remote Control Aircraft by Leopantro: 3:42pm On Jun 03, 2015
1. how much does it cost to make one?
2. how long does it stay in the air?
3, what is the range of the signal? how far can it go
4, can a minature wifi camera be added or can a spy camera found in convert pens be added to the compartment?
5, how does it land?
6. what is the total weight and in strong turbulence how can the controls hold up?
7. do you need assistance in making it android controlled?

EDIT: looking at your pictures again i have to say i'm impressed. the steering mechanism is in front ( i believe that's a toy car's control. saw some cables on the wings, wondering now you navigate) and the weight and upwards facing big motor ensures lift. the hollow compartments in the styraform are for batteries?

Having watched the video, I advocate that the owner be jailed for life and forced to east those products during his jail time. Also, the staff of cool fm and anyone that have ever eaten there should invest in a liver and kidney transplant. It is totally inhuman to give such products to animals, let alone humans.

Most annoying is when you click u on a link and a new window opens up with an ad, hijacking you from what you are doing in the former tab.

I use Disconnect, Ghostery, adblock plus and avast ad blocker running at the background on Firefox. Then went to Firefox hidden menu and stripped out everything making it as bare as possible. Finally told it to clear everything whenever I shut down Firefox. Now, the only ads I see are the ones I want to see.

ohzee:
Interesting things always attract attention. Make it interesting. Avoid too much tech talk. Relate your posts to everyday practical things. Ask people for their opinion, not just giving yours. Show interest in what they have to say. Most Nigerians are not tech savvy so may not understand too much hard stuff.

Disclaimer: I haven't visited your blog before, so I don't know if you are already doing these.
So true. It's a general thing. Most Nigerians don't comment on blogs except it is popular or reveal browsing hacks or its about gossip. If you are in the business of waiting for comments then forget about it. If, however, you present stuff like above the people will definity bookmark your site to start with be ore commenting.

Funny thing is I'm about to start a blog on tech stuffs but the difference is showing how to use tech stuff to make money. Have already made up my mind about not caring for comments but that it helps someone somewhere.. Let me check your blog

Doesn't seem viable unless it has some sort of boost conversion integrated into it. Even with that, I don't see one AA battery supplying enough current.
Pls give feedback on your findings sha.
OH yes it can. Can supply up to 30v using an input of 3v. Can utilize 3v to power a cfl bulb.
