Nairaland / General / 35 Things Every Man Should Do In Life Time by LeoSanchez(m): 4:29pm On Nov 17, 2014
1. Tell your buddy his girlfriend is not "The One."
2. Hang out alone with your father-In-Law, instead of hiding behind your wife.

3. Do not go home with the 'other'
woman.

4. Make the toast. The table is demanding it; don't just stare at your chicken and wait for them to forget.

5. Learn how to ask for exactly what you
want.

6. Blow off your girlfriend to hang out
with your friends.

7. Blow off your friends to hang out with your girlfriend.

8. Know when your pursuit is getting
creepy.
Accept that if a girl doesn't like you or you aren't getting good vibes back from her, it's better to leave it alone.

9. Throw her a surprise party.
You will have to call her friends. Even her
crazy friend.

10. Quit your job.
Not because you're not earning enough, but because you're not satisfied.

11. Admit that you're wrong.

12. Be your own man.

13. Repair an appliance.

14. Recognize the accomplishments of
others.

15. Throw a real party.

16. Sell everything you don't need.
Once.

17. Start something that scares you.

18. Make a list of seventy-five things
you want to do before you die. It's hard.

19. Defend your woman in public.
You will always carry the shame if you
don't.

20. Break up like a man.
When it comes to relationships, few things scare guys as much as breaking up. Some men just don't like conflict while others have an innate fear of being the bad guy and causing pain to someone they care about.

21. Be on time.

22. Invest — financially — in something
you believe in.
Put your money where your mouth is.

23. Say yes to a spontaneous road trip.
Everyone else had things to do this
weekend too. Just get in the car.

24. Get over being dumped with dignity.

25. Be a mentor.

26. Cook for an entire dinner party. Don't outsource.

27. Have that weird conversation where
you tell your parents you appreciate them.

28. Show up for visiting hours.

29. Say "I'm sorry."
"You may feel a slight sting. That's pride
f**king with you. F**k pride. Pride only
hurts. It never helps."

30. Be brutally honest.

31. Bribe a bouncer. It will come in handy. Trust me.

32. Choose "Dare" instead of "Truth."

33. Stand up for the little guy.
Stand up for something or someone when everyone else in the room is silent.

34. Look them in the eye.
Nobody remembers the shoegazer.

35. Participate in a group sport that you
suck at.
Education / 35 Pieces Of Advice From A 100-year-old By Brianna Wiest by LeoSanchez(m): 2:51pm On Nov 17, 2014
I was surfing the net and came by this wonderful article.

A woman who can see things through the
eye of experience shares 35 tips on what
she learned from 100 years of life.

1. Even if you feel hatred, keep it to
yourself. Don’t hurt other people for any
reason.

2. Don’t ever give up on love.

3. Great things will happen. God is good
and
will bring you blessings beyond what you
can even imagine.

4. Nobody else controls you.

5. Make time to cry.

6. Travel while you’re young and able. Don’t
worry about the money, just make it work.
Experience is far more valuable than money
will ever be.

7. There is always tomorrow.

8. Don’t compare! You’ll never be happy
with your life. The grass is always greener.

9. If you are embarrassed to be dating
someone, you should not be dating them.

10. Do one thing each day that is just for
you.

11. The only thing constant is change, so
you have to learn to embrace it.

12. Don’t beat yourself up over mistakes.

13. Don’t be a cheapskate.

14. Concern yourself only with what will
really matter in the long run.

15. Forgive.

16. Be honest.

17. Communication is essential, especially in
making a marriage work for many years.

18. Find your passion and live it.

19. You don’t have to have it all figured out.

20. Most times things will figure
themselves
out.

21. Choose the right parents.

22. Enjoy your work.

23. Don’t take vitamins. You should get that
stuff from the real thing.

24. Do exercise. Just go for a walk, that’s all.
It’s important.

25. You will one day realize you spent too
much time worrying about nothing.

26. The little things are the only things that
matter eventually.

27. Don’t take life so seriously.

28. Love does not break your heart, the
other crap that gets in the way does.

29. You will never cease to be amazed at
how quickly life passes you.

30. Many things are never as they seem.

31. Learn to adapt.

32. Thank your parents for all they’ve done
for you.

33. Take time to mourn what you’ve lost.

34. Have a pet. Life gets lonely sometimes.
Pets are reminders of how we’re all living
things. I believe they have souls. Some of
my pets have been my best friends through
the years.

35. I’m not saying you have to practice one
religion or another, or not practice one
religion or another… I’m just saying that
you should figure out what you believe in
and live it completely.

T hank you
Sports / Re: Emenike Will Be Axed! (opinon) by LeoSanchez(m): 7:20am On Nov 17, 2014
Honestly i do feel Onazi should hit the road. Lets be honest. Trying to compare Mikel and Onazi in top form.. Will Onazi deliver as much as Mikel? no i don think so. But hey we do have other people in the look out.
Ihenacho is always available. And instead of using brutal force to displace the ball. He looks for open space to pass to an attacker. Now that is the job of a Midfielder.
Sunday Mba is still available. Forget the fact dat he plays in devision 3. I can bet to some extent that dat club he plays can beat most Nigeria League team at The moment. Yet local based players are called.
I am trying to point out that its not more a game of the body n strength alone but a game of the Mind- Soccer.
And then there is Emenike. I wont say much. I dont want him to go.. Not yet. But i do want him to be benched. I luv d fact dat Uche is back. I want Moses to come back as well. If so we could plar 433
putting Uche at front and Moses n Musa at the wings. Dats good enuf for me.

The Bollywood movies
Three Idiots- was not only funny but touching.
Like stars on Earth- A young boy that was strange but special. Couldnt see things the way normal human see and think but had spectacular talent. And wasnt realised until he meet a school teacher who helped him became better.
