I remember during my IT at a pharmaceutical research institute, all of the equipment we say there were vague to us. We only knew the names but couldn't operate until we were shown how to, but then we had colleagues who were schooling abroad (UK) precisely, they came for summer attachment and they were so conversant with the machines down to operating it.
But all the same we challenged and competed well with them, them feel us die.

I sure say your grade go good just by your description of pendulum.

I mean, strong or bad arse. I wonder where the rumor came from, people say Ekp has its own geophysics department, I suppose it's just another way to spite our lecturers. It's still an option under physics dept for us but you can only do a masters in it and it's only 2 courses. 315 and 415. I mean the man taught Hebrew nobody understood we just crammed and pasted. he's at Uniben now, @Dr Alile, maybe he schooled there.

I did enjoy the course in theory (you know Nigerian education and practicals) I even plan to master in one of its branches tho my area of biotechnology deals with plants mostly. You're right as regards biotechnician.

Lol I can relate, I remember my lecturers telling us to assume a lot, "assume a particle in an infinite square well". the practicals I did from yr1-3(none in finals due thesis) are as follows:
Yr1- Watching a lil metal ball swinging from left to right they called it simple pendulum
Yr2- watching another metal ball fall in a glass tube filled with groundnut oil they called it measurement of viscosity using stokes theorem
Yr3- watching an old lab attendant scratch a rusting metal they called it creep of metal by then I had lost interest in practicals and just gisted throughout the class lol Oh well the real experience is outside school anyway.

I studied biotechnology

Ah hopefully sir, before I start another thesis on boredom. Biotechnology, I don't know much about it but there used to be a biotechnician?(is that correct?) at the place I interned in, was the first time I heard of it. Did you enjoy your course?

Lagos? Not sure how people survive there. Me never dreams of staying there. Maybe I'm too used to a quiet life. So are you working your posting? Yeah, Debbie can say Daddy and Mummy though she learnt the former first. She started school - play class September so she can say/sing a number of stuff. Only her words don't come out clear yet..

Lol I got the quiet life all my life, I want to experience the other for a change I most likely will then again anywhere I get posted to will still be an experience I just want to see how it all goes sha. Debbie, what a beautiful name, extend my greetings to her, my!! kids are soo adorable
