No, many Nigerians go to South Africa to make illegal businesses
Have you been there for such before?
TravelRe: Nigerian Denied Entry To South Africa Because Of His Social Media Post by Letsmove: 1:22am On Apr 09
Many people are going there to spend money and that is their loss.

zhike:
I think people should learn to know what they type on the social media.
The South African intelligence is now checking the social media pages before the grant visas to applicants.
In this case I stand with South Africa, how can you insult South Africa and after you apply to go to South Africa.

Personal experience. It's funny how people even start to compare Argentina to a place like Nigeria or South Africa. Argentina is beyond even many European countries.

Very urbanized, good tax relief system, the racism thing is bullshit, even there's more racism in Nigeria than there can ever be in Argentina.

Argentina is where top American countries are hiring remote talents right now.
Goodluck .

Things are quiet cheap there, even housing. If you are earning your income from outside the country, it's a great country to be.
Is this your personal experience or hearsay?

Every country has a way of doing things, that doesn't means its a backward way.

Hmm..okay.

I suspected that Nigerias method will be backwards as usual.

Thanks.

Well they are already and that why they are inviting ladies for interviews (study visa). They have their ears to the ground as well.
Everyone is a content creator singing the praise of Brazil in other to lure people for their consultation fee.

Nairaland is not my source. I personally know more than 10 people who applied from other countries, they all got it. My wife & I (+2 others, a friend and his wife) applied from our location, all rejected. We were all supposed to meet in Brazil for party. So yeah, location matters.
Goodluck!

When was the last tine you see people celebrating approvals here like before? One in 10 approvals are being given and the odd for denial is high if you are a woman thanks to this group and the lousy nature of us on tiktok.

fidet1:
It does! While decisions are based on the same laws and criteria worldwide, approval rates vary between consulates due to many factors.

Invitation letter doesn't matter much, I think it all depends on the consulate you're applying from. I heard this particular embassy hasn't approved any Nigerian visa application in over a year.
It doesn't matter the consulate, its generally getting difficult for anyone with a Nigerian Passport.

Please house, I do wished to ask a question that has been bothering me. Brazil and Mexico which is better please. Though Mexico is my first choice and I have active UK visa for it but needed to try Brazil too incase

If it’s because of pregnancy they’re inviting for interviews then, it might go sour and the guy that’s asking question doesn’t know much about countries and different between Uk, Schengen and entire European countries based on the travel history question we had and I didn’t have time to explain further to him though!

It’s Mexico better so that I’d write for my passport pickup to enable me book my ticket ahead.
I think the benefits are similar but Brazil has some flexibilities and people are more diverse. If you have a direct access to Mexico, i see no reason for you to disturb yourself.

Communism crippled Venezuelas economy and not US sanctions. If Venezuela has remained a free market economy just as it was in the 80s. It would have been as rich as Singapore especially with how hardworking and intelligent Venezuelan people are.
You are sounding like an American politician. What was the reason for the sanctions? Go against the US and find out the hard way. Why did the US toppled an elected government in Chile too?

In the 70s and 80s , Venezuelan where among the richest tourists a country could pray to attract . They would even outspend US tourists then . Government regulated capitalism is still the best , see what communism did to that country mahn.
US crippled their economy through sanctions because they nationalized their oil and resources. This is a very serious issue

Can you please elucidate how the whole process went...Thank you
Pretty straight forward. Get to Chile and find yourself a private hospital but mind you, the price is between $5000 to $10000 depending on your circumstances.

Chile is different with this. Having a child here doesn’t guarantee you permanent residency. Also for your child to get Chilean nationality, you must have a temporary residency or permanent residency as of when the child is born.
Coming from a firsthand experience, your child will get a citizenship in Chile even if you are a tourist but you still need to show some economic sovereignty to be able to get a temporary permit as the parent. It's more better in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina in my opinion.

Funny how nobody's talking about panama as a japa destination when it could be cost effective for studies and business.

Some of their universities are tuition free even for foreign students.
The likes are not really suitable for the type of japa Nigerians like to do unless you are in Techs or related business. You can't be rich cleaning toilets as it beliefs to be in Uk or other western countries. The systems in South and central America are more suitable for retirees from US or UK. The language barrier is also a huge challenge.

Having a Nigerian passport is the greatest curse ever. My gf and I are planning to travel to Brazil this December. My gf doesn’t need a visa I do so I applied early. I reached the Brazilian consulate today and immediately I turned in my passport. The guy looked at it suspiciously then went back inside and came out and said that Nigerians are in a special category and that their government has sent notifications to all Brazilian consulates worldwide that for Nigerian nationals the visa has to come from Brazil itself and not from a consulate. They told me they will have to hold on to my passport for another 2 weeks before they decide if they give me the visa or not.

Life is not all about money if you have the opportunity, please try and give your children another nationality. Venezuela has no diplomatic relationships with the USA but Venezuelan citizens get 10 years multiple entry visa. Nigerians get 3 months. There’s no even USA embassy in Venezuela at the moment but they even have more rights than us. I am using Venezuelan as an example because it’s the worst country in South America but Venezuelan citizens can travel to 120 countries visa free.
Mobility wise, i will pay for a Venezuela passport if its available . Nigerians are generally loud and this is a very big problem but we should also ve mindful on how we represent the country outside .

If you said you will always be an Igbo man I would have completely accepted but Nigeria is a British construct. I am an Igbo man and soon I will be a Chilean man. Nothing concerns me with that British creation.
Fair enough but your place of birth will always be where are born irrespective of your new passport which will take you close to 10 years even if you marry a Chilean.

For me, chile is perfect. God bless the day I escaped from Nigeria. I don’t live in Santiago. I am a penquisto 😉
You will always be a Nigerian even if you chose to renounce your citizenship. There is no escaping for someone like me that values his family and heritage. I can enjoy the skyscrapers, smooth roads but i will never despise the humble beginnings . Good luck to you and eat your hotdogs and wines.

I posted pictures of a public school close to my house on this thread. What infrastructure is available in Europe that is not available in chile? What’s with the currency? And Chiles tax rate at 40 percent is a very big lie. I pay two taxes in Chile including contributions and everything comes down to around 20 percent.
Lets see if you will put your child in a public school when you have one . The highest rate of your taxes is 40% depending on your income code and they tax on your worldwide income if you are a resident. There might be some deductibles that helps you bring it low which is available in europ as well. As good as it is it's not what you are making it to be online. I'm presently in Santiago and i will be leaving for Panama in 2 days incase you want to meet.

What’s the giant of Europe? The one you have to pay 50 percent tax rate on puny salaries 😀😀🤪
Chile at 40% or there about is not great either but the infrastructures in Europe are far better. I can put my kids in public schools in Europe without fear, in Chile the disparity between the public and private is very obvious. Let's not even talk about the currency.

Yes by one million times. Let’s even remove my remote job. I have worked here in chile with a local Chilean company and what I was earning after tax I can’t earn that in Europe. My first job here in Chile was for a Spanish company and I rejected it to stay here in Chile. In my own opinion, the only countries better than Chile are Switzerland and the USA. What I achieved here in Chile it will takes me 10 years or more in any European country to achieve what I have achieved in Chile in two years with the same knowledge and skills.
Anything that makes you sleep better at night bro. Chile has a stable small economy but you cant compare with giant of Europe. i get it, it is more suitable to you than anyway but common. I'm typing this while eating salmon from chile though.

Story. Weren’t you one of those on this thread praying for my downfall 😀😀😀🤣🤣. I just started a new high paying job today. Continue to cry😛
i will never pray for anyone to fail. What would be my gain? I'm just stunned by your level and standard before you leave Nigeria. I understand your frustration but i think by now you should have get used to your so called food life in a second world country. I will cease responding to the thread because i can understand you clearly now.
