Seun has simply shown who he is in manners. I owe no appologies for anything I have to say here because you can't do morethan banning me from your irrational and biased forum. News media are meant to be free for all opinions. And who told you Seun, that you are a God to deliver judgements? If you do not support Biafra by reason of your ethinicity, how does your disposition become a yardstick for measuring other ethinic greiviances. If you call yourself a civilized entity like professor Wole Soyinka. You should learn to respect and accord people their right to opinions and ideas. People that speak like you just did, are bullies, who always think they can take every slightest advantage at their disposal to manipulate outcomes to their advantage. However, have you even asked yourselve, if God is in for Biafra, how can your irrisonable ban stop its actualization? And what if after all your efforts to sabortage it, it finaly comes to existence, where will you hide your freakin face? Bleep Nairaland. U can start from banning me. The fight for Biafra is a fight to finish.

If Seun himself said this. He's as good as goofed. U can only wish to have a bad returns. Irrespective of whatever anyone as goofed as Seun may want to believe in. Biafra is a no going back. We have survived the war. The neglect, maginalization, intimidations and what have you. Nairaland is never our anchor in the first place. Buh just wait and see what is meant by BIAFRALAND in the nearest future. Save your ban for a story to your children, how we used to be one Nigeria. F+++k

With the introduction of card readers and all the exceptional measures taken by the proffessor Atahiru Jegga lead Inec in the last concluded elections. The whole world came to his praise. But with the mode of election nuliffications today, I wonder if his performance actually had the credibility it was accorded. If nothing lessthan 7 mandates from this last elections has been nulified, what is our assurance that the excersise was free and fair?

Politics / Re: Landlocked Biafra Will Be An Economic Hell On Earth. by Levinelsonbob(m): 3:55pm On Dec 07, 2015
dinachi:
It will be horrible economically for our people IF they go on to become Biafra. It will be an economic hell. With most importers being of Igbo origin, they are gonna have to depend on Lagos and Port Harcourt Ports to get anything in. And that is where Nigeria is going to make a killing on import duties and rates. The customs are also going to make a killing on goods heading to Biafra. We will be forced to import foods like, yams, beans, onions, tomatoes, carrots even beef from the north. It is not like I expect the Biafran zombies here to understand, they will never do because anything short of their beloved biafra is not acceptable even if the Biafra is hell in its self!

As for the IPOB clowns, they will never understand the damage they did to businesses of Igbo men and women with their senseless and violent protests. Blocking the Niger bridge for the length of time they did cost Igbo men and women billions in profits.

But this post is not for the zombies, it is only for the Igbo men and women. who still thinks and has balanced reasoning. Zombies can do only what they know how to do best, rant and rave.
Then, why are u still afraid? Why dnt take a road map to hell and blaze ashes. Stop taking pills on other people's headache. All of u will be there and see it happen. Of course u have no choice. By then, u can be marrying and dinning with cows and beef meat. After all, thats why u are in the zoo

The journey to Biafra has just begun. Freedom is never gotten on a platter of gold and only determination wins it. Nelson Mandela chosed to be imprisoned for his people to be free. And it's obvious during his trial days, even some misguided folks from among his own must have spewed one or two trashes against his resolute determination. Hence, needless to mention the unguarded, irrisonable and hate speeches born out of envy, uncivilized and irrational reactions from the opposition camp. But in the long run, glory glory is his name on song world wide over.
The fight has just began. The blood of the innocent, armless and peaceful protesters which was split by the NA running away from boko haram but blood tasty on armless civilians, is already standing before God, yearning for justice. The intimidations and maginalization metted out to the Biafrans by the entity called one Nigeria is also an evidence before God. Rember, Pharo and the Egyptians thought it was by power. But when God said it's time for my people to have their liberty, Egypt had no choice but to surrender. Who can stand against God?
It's Obvious that the Biafran situation in this country is tantamount to the same case as aparthy suffered by South Africans. We are no longer willing to play second fiddle in a land reguareded as one entity. We are done and resolved to realise ourselves. I am yet to see anything wrong with a homogeneous people demanding for their self realization. If marriages which were contracted under oaths of agreement, could still be nulified when any of the parties no longer feel comfortable with the union. How much more an amalgamation done by a people who are not part of the system and who by no means, have any opportunity of feelling the brunt of their mistakes. Albeit, the contractual agreement has expired. Let those who are afraid of loosing the salt of this country continue wailling untill they see us gain our liberty. Unless the status quo of things in this country is changed.

My point is that, if all those leaders in the past. Both civilians and military alike have contributed positively to the economic growth of this country:
1; There wouldn't have been need for those coups and counter coups.
2; If they had not been cuorrupt, Nigeria would have been good ever b4 1999. Because this period of 40yrs comprised the oil wind fall era.
3; Countries like South-Africa who just got their independence very lately would not be anywhere near comparison to an economy who got her indepence virtualy 30yrs earlier. Blessed with arable large land mass, human resources and an oil wind fall.
If Nigeria is just suffering from a sixteen year old missrule. Our fathers are at a vantage position to tell us. However, since I was born into this country, 1999 to 2015 have been the I have witnessed.
I am none partisan.
Politics / disillusioned masses and misguided minds provide room for t charlatern's triumph by Levinelsonbob(m): 11:56pm On Dec 01, 2015
Anybody shouting APC is on a recovery mission of a 16yr old misrule is probably an under 16 and do not have the pedigry to analize the history of this country.
Nigeria got her indipendence in 1960 and in the preceeding election that provided the first indigeneous prime minister of the fedration, Tafawa Balewa was victorious. His unpreparedness to govern elicited the military to carry the first coup detat in 1966, ushering general Aguiyi Ironsi as the first military head of state. However, the misconception of the modus operanda of that coup led to another counter coup in same year and colonel Yakubu Gowon who was later promoted to the rank of general became the head of state. He ruled for 9yrs and through the civil war but was overthrown by Muritala Mohamed. In 1976, Muritala was silenced by Dimka. Paving way for general Olusegun Obasanjo to take over the mantle of leadership. And from 1976 to 1979, he handed over to Shehu Shagari who after being declared winner of the election conducted in his 2nd tenure, was overtrown on 31 december 1983 by general Mohammadu Buhari. Buhari's government did not last 2yrs due to his wreckless use of power and enemy witch-hunting. He was overthrown by general Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida in 1985. And Babangida ruled for a complete 8yrs and supervised a transition program which heralded the election that produced Cheif MKO Abiola as an imminent president of the federal republic of Nigeria. However, the forces of thesame power that elected him, instead of granting him his deserved mandate, decided rather to throw him into jail from where he was maimed. But Babangida reading the handwritting on the wall decided to hand over to an interim govt headed by Ernest Shonekan whom general Sani Abacha overthrew in 1993. And then ruled till 1998. He died in office as he was trying to make him self a democratic president from his military atire. Abdusalami Abubarkar benefited from this demise but kept to his promise and handed over to the 3rd republic under the leadership of president Olusegun Obasanjo.
My opinion in bringing us back to these historical antecedents is for those who do not know where we are coming from. From among whom I presume, the shouts of APC on a recovery mission from a 16yr old miss rule come. For clarity, Nigeria has not existed only for 16rs. And all these leaders ever before 1999 have all contributed to the economic woes that started regaining shape from 1999 till now. However, the leadership of President Umaru Musa Yaradua and Goodluck Jonathan in essense has contributed the best growth in economy in this history. Thank u.

Fellow compatriot, from the anticidents of the present administration, the expections of Nigerians from this government is a forgone conclucsion. It will be tantamount to the severest disillusionment to still want to beleive that this government has anything up sleves for the country. A government that campaigned against all the policies of the past administration but has since then been unable to do without them. A government that has denied virtually its campaign promises. A government established on false-hood and greed for power. What are u actually hopping to gain from it? If not witch-hunting of enemies and masterminding plans for non-oposition. So that the logic of the cabals will reign. Have u heard anything like 2016 budget if not only the exergurated and uncaluted hyperbol of N8trillion deficit budget which if implemented, is capable of plumating the country into banckrupsy.

Nigeria is yet enjoying but the policies of the immidiate past administration under Goodluck Jonathan. Who only allowed corruption to thrive and never fought against it. Policies like:
1; FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL
2; TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT (TSA)
3; BANK VERIFICATION NUMBER(BVN)
4 ACCREDITATION OF CIVIL SERVANTS TO ELIMINATE GHOST WOKERS.
Amongst others were all the polices of the clueless, corrupt government of Goodluck Jonathan. However, right now, all the corrupt officials in his government whom he aided in siphoning our treasury are returning their loots and the present corrupt free government is accepting them without prosecutions. Even hidding the names and ammounts being returned. I hope transparency will be allowed for propper understanding and scrutinity of this corruption fight.
Meanwhile, I have been waiting in ernest anticipation for the indictment of the former petroleum minister whose loots were equated to Dangote's worth in assets and cash. Eventhough, during her tenure, Nigeria never lacked fuel supply.
The corruption recorded in the past administration was so stinking that it had to spend N1.8billion in maintainance of the presidential air fleet, just in one year? Oh my God! that was outrageous. I mean outrageously economical compared to N2.5billion admitted by the Buhari's incorruptible administration to have been spent on same property in less than 6months. Eventhough it was touted to be above N5billion (denied). That nothwistanding; The milestone TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT policy of the immidiate past corrupt administration of president Goodluck Jonathan is currently suffering an alleged embezzlement of N25billion under the watchful eyes of the none corrupt Buhari's administration.
Moreso, the daftness of the past corrupt government was seen in its strides to remove fuel subsidy in other to curb the massive misappropriation of funds going on with the system, which rather than being applauded, aroused the indigination of the masses who are now relaxed with a pump price of between N150-N300 per litre of fuel across. the country. This same cluelessnes was also seen in its ability to hound boko-haram which now ranks the no.1 deadly terror group in the world under president Buhari's leadership. Atleast, during the clueless, daft and corrupt government, boko-haram could only kidnap or maim armless civilians. And in the transparent atmosphere of that administration, Nigerians were duely informed on the developments and dastardly activities of the terror group which included the kidnap of Chibok girls. But the body language of our face-for-corruption-fight and X general has reduced (irony) the power of boko-haram from "missing Chibok girls to missing soldiers." Admist all secrecy, while the commander in chief is busy juncketting around the world .
