Education / Re: What Did You Do To Be Self Dependent Financially As A University Student? by Lexmane(m): 3:27am On Jun 08, 2017 |
I am still an undergrad, in my finals though. OAU is just one of the schools that allows you to hone your entrepreneurial tendencies. As for me, I act as middleman between buyers and Sellers, like OLX. I know a lil bit of phone repair ,so I do repair phones for peeps and charge token. And yes, I buy things like gas cylinders, cupboards phones, anything I know will be of benefits to students and subsequently sell. It has always been fun. It hasn't been easy mehn but niqqur's gotta survive. |

Fairezest:They misspelled your name or you did? Well, it is whatever name you submitted that will be written on your award letter Though you are still gonna fill another form separately where you can write your name. I advise that you mail them before hand though so that you can correct the mistake beforehand |

Nazareth10:If as at present, you are in 200 level, write it . However, make sure your graduating year should be in session and not just year. Eg: 2018/2019 and not '2018' |

ekpenyong101:You should check with your department/faculty. As for my case , my HOD called me. Albeit, you can always print out the soft copy(from your mail), fill it and get it signed by your HOD/dean, scan it and send it back to them. It makes you get identified early. And when the hard copy arrives finally, you can go through the same process I enumerated above |

Congrats to the successful candidates. At least we existing beneficiaries should be smiling to the bank by next month before they start to pay you guys by September. Word of caution: make no mistake in filling your bank account details. For those of you using Diamond Yello account, go and upgrade it or better still, open another bank account. Otherwise, you may end up getting frustrated coz you won't get paid.... Again, accept my heartfelt congrats |

Is forex worth venturing into or it's just another sham investment scheme? Your submissions will be greatly appreciated. |
