Bar1941: That is the problem with many of you guys. Where in the write-up or my response did anyone stipulate you must be raised in Lagos for you to be smart or what a view?
The writer only wrote on features that are peculiar to Lagos, and I’m sure every cities in Nigeria have their one special attributes as well.
It’s high time you guys stopped getting sick or feeling inferior at the mention of Lagos. Showcase the unique qualities of your village as well and let Lagos be. Which of the following questions did your response answer? 1. So in Lagos, when everybody goes to school, everywhere will still be noisy? 2. Who and who will be making everywhere noisy after everyone has gone to school? 3. Do you mean that no Nigerian is smart and alert except they grew up in Lagos? 4. That means Nigerian who has gone abroad will not be able to navigate their way because they did not grow up in Lagos. 5. What exactly are you always on guard for? |

Exousiang01: LoL Oga, Lagos is busiest when students are in school. Lagos is less busy when students are on holidays, do you even know the thousands of people in Lagos just for school? The traffic during the holidays differ from traffic during school. My children are back in Nigeria for the summer and they almost have no friends to play with most have traveled for summer. Lagos is busy anything of the year How does that answer my questions? 1. So in Lagos, when everybody goes to school, everywhere will still be noisy? 2. Who and who will be making everywhere noisy after everyone has gone to school? 3. is this one of Reno's nairaland accounts?
what about Anonpoet?
I keep wondering, how is it that 2years after the 2023 general elections, tinubu, his supporters and paid online employees have still not gotten over peter obi despite he came 3rd in the elections?
since 2023, there is no day they do not talk about obi.
what exactly is the reason for this obsession since obi was not the only candidate who contested the election and since tinubus camp feel that tinubu won the election?
imagine fans of PSG who won the last champions league complaining everyday about Barcelona or Inter Milan despite winning the champions league.
how is that possible?
since tinubu "won" the elections and is now in office, is it not pertinent that the focus should be on him and accountability demanded from him?
how is it that tinubus supporters and online paid employees constantly demand accountability from someone who is not holding any public office but are unable to demand accountability from tinubu who has been in office for the past two years? |

sparko1: You won't understand until you stay in Lagos for like 5 years.
I am presenting in Port Harcourt for work, and I can tell you for a fact Port Harcourt is chill, like the agbero here are very friendly, even police just do routine check, very chill.
In Lagos, even with my emblem, police will still stop you and will tell you to introduce yourself, can I meet you.😂😂
When you want to pick anyone up, you have to be watching like you stole something, same thing when you want to drop off.
When you are trying, you are always in a hurry because there is a good chance there will be traffic somewhere. since you have stayed in Lagos for 5years, I am surprised that you cannot answer my questions. 1. Brought up differently from who? 2. How are they brought up differently? |

Kazim88: Let me donate a response. 1 &2. In Lagos, Business, vehicle and Economics activity generated 90% of the noise, not students. Like he said, students (both secondary and university) are not even measured in the Lagos noise mix.
3. Every Nigeria is smart but Lagos is something else. The economy activity is super fast and you need a different mindset to keep up.
4. Not a relevant argument.
5. Lagos have the good the Bad and the ugly. It's not a "community" environment, where you know everybody and everyone knows you in the community and if someone default on his arrangement, you will report to the elder. Lagos is all man for himself. So you have to be on guard and protect your interest and avoid doing business with anyone without a verifiable address.
Lastly, Lagos is not the best place to live, just that most lagosian are born and brought up in the system. 1. So you mean that in Lagos, when everybody goes to school, everywhere will still be noisy? Yes or no 2. How did you arrive at your 90%? 3. Who and who will be making everywhere noisy after everyone has gone to school? 4. How is Lagos “something else”? something like what? 5. How is the “economy activity” in Lagos fast? Fast in what way? 6. Can you show me the argument you are referring to that you say is not relevant? bukitt: Lagos gave me that smartness and alertness, always on guard and this same OT help me navigate my ways abroad and everywhere I go. That means Nigerian who has gone abroad will not be able to navigate their way because they did not grow up in Lagos. 7. Is there any state in Nigeria or is there where in the world that you do not find the good, the bad and the ugly? 8. So if you go to Akwa Ibom state for instance, does everybody know everybody? 9. So you mean that in Lagos nobody knows each other 10. How is “Lagos all man for himself”? 11. The schools that you say children go to, how are they going to the schools if “Lagos is all man for himself”? 12. So people do not go to churches, mosque or mix with each other in Lagos? 13. Which one is “avoid doing business with anyone without a verifiable address”? |
