SHOOPSYN:
Please guys, is there any Uber office in Ikeja or any other part of Lagos apart from the Lekki phase 1 office?. If there is none, how can I get to the Lekki phase 1 office? Thanks.

alstarmayo:
one thing I notice about Uber and Taxify is that:
1. On Uber you get more trip requests that taxify, but on taxify you make more money per trip than on Uber.
2. On taxify you get requests from riders closer to you than on Uber.
3. If an Uber driver does 10 trips to make 10k, a taxify driver will do 5 trips and make same amount and this is because Taxify is more expensive and they take only 5%, while Uber is cheaper and they take 25%.

Romeo3:
120 - 130k weekly is overly possible on both platforms. driving on any of them pans out to be the same thing. One has more riders, one has higher fares.

the strategy to be used on taxify to make over 120k is the strategy employed when uber used to be expensive.

brain work. not for lazy people..

Romeo3:

Does he look like someone that can make 100k?

all talk no action. claiming he does part time while talking trash.

alstarmayo:
No, I've never made 100k a week on Uber or taxify, and that's because I do it part time. I only put in about 5 hours a day

alstarmayo:
I have posted my earnings here before, and I don't make small chops per trip

alstarmayo:
We didn't see any Uber driver post their earnings last week. Romeo, how market? please encourage your mentees and show them Uber is still profitable

elninosanz:
@lexylexy did you see the promotion in your app?

eddie7:
A handsome man went into a hotel and asked to see the boss. When the boss came, the story began. -The client: is room 39 empty? -The boss: yes, sir. -The client: can I book it? -The boss: of course you can. -The client: thank you. Before going to the room, the client asked the boss to provide him with a black knife, a white thread 39 cm and an orange 73g. So finally, the client revealed his secret to the boss. Unfortunately, the boss was a sincere person. Uptil now he hasn't revealed his secret to anyone. When he does, I will let you know....if E pain U come find me for OMOTOWO backyard

elninosanz:
I don't think that's the issue. For starters, my acceptance rate is 88% and my cancellation rate is about 16% so I qualify. Even if I don't qualify, there have been times in the past when I don't qualify and they still show me the promo but then tell me to improve on my completion rate. It still happened two weeks ago. My guess is that for high earners who chase surge they omit them and give the promo to low earners to boost them. I may be wrong though

Rett0:
Yes

Rett0:
Good day all, please I installed the uber app but it isn't showing the pin to drop at my location Neither is it showing any cars. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but same issue. Only the map is showing.

darmilolah:
Everyone else driving on uber was also charged that 10k. It will be deducted from your first week earnings. They tagged one yeye name to it. That it is for background check. It's just exploitation my brother because they are not doing any background check. Welcome to Uber

My Driver on Uber is always giving me issues week after week, 3 weeks ago it was bad Tyres so I bought a new pair for him; last week it was fuel consumption issues and we had to work on the catalyst/sensor and combustion mechanism of the car that cost me 50k; now this week guess what? The guy saw a pool of water on the road after the heavy rainfall and decided to drive thru and now the AC has stopped working... What do u think I should do to this driver?

troot:
Yes......that's why the cut-off time has been extended to 10PM.
