AirBere: If Spain win today, it could be that they're simply that good and their talent pool is insane especially in the midfield department. It’s more due to their approach to the game. And Rodri. If they went front foot and leave loads of space behind Mbappe would’ve had a brace. This Spanish squad is not as talented as France’s. |

......that is Fab's opinion dude, not INEOS. None of them saw the signings of Santos and Tielemans coming until very late hour.
The strategy has completely changed, not like it used to be. I remember Fab dropping exclusives that Ederson's deal is glued to the table.

BlueRayDick: It's funny how people who claim to know ball are asking how that ball is a penalty even when it's so obvious.
Digne was unreasonably reckless there and it has cost his team. A senior player no supposed do that kind mess up. The problem is these kinds of calls are not always given. It sits in a grey area, so players exploit it to cheat. Yamal knew all he had to do was jump in front of Digne and get hit to win a penalty. Ref f up |

3 outfield players + an upgrade backup GK wouldn't be too bad a TW.
We await the outgoing list We already signed a backup GK |

Carrick had better have solid plans to coach a couple of academy talents Into the right form and abilities. He will have to depend on them this coming season what with our scanty midfield. |

nitrogen: We can’t even call that a mistake. That push to the front was rubbish. It was a mistake. He wanted to catch the ball but he judged the trajectory and spin wrongly. That was why he spilled it, not that he pushed it “to the front” like you said. We know he f-ed up but let’s be objective in our criticism. |

Ellexy: He's name have been coming up constantly as a target for some time now. He will be a quality squad addition imo, and he's not done badly in this world cup too.
However I don't think we'll sign him, Ederson and Santos is enough squad addition already except the Ederson deal collapses. Yeah, that makes sense. It would be difficult to get a marquee signing this summer to complete the midfield trio though. No good players are available at the price we want. |

What do you guys think of Fulham’s Sander Berge? Premier league proven. Much cheaper than Guimaraes. He’s not going to break salary structure and he’s going to bring solidity to that midfield.
The only stumbling block is he’s 28 years old. A 2 + 1 year contract won’t be bad IMO. Very low profile than most of our targets tho. |

If this Santos guy turns out to be a very good signing for us, I’ll have less doubts about INEOS’ ability to build a squad.
I see why they didn’t want to spend so much on some unproven or unestablished players. Imagine buying 21 kid Fernandes for 85m and paying him over 200k per week. Won’t that disrupt wage structure? Especially if he flops.
Na so we buy Alexis Sanchez give am loads of cash. That was part of what killed the interest and development of Martial, Rashford and co. The focus shifted to money over performance on the pitch.
They all used Sanchez’s failure whilst collecting big cash to negotiate bigger contracts. INeOS are trying to avoid a repeat. Mbeumo and Cunha and Mainoo’s agents are watching closely. |

Kimbeast: There was really no point for this long explanation. Ronaldo has already performed In England and won everything it has over there. So even if he scored 0 in 38games in his 2nd stint it changes nothing. Don't change the discussion to something else. At face value, stats can be misleading. You only get the truth when you examine things holistically. And that’s what I did. In what way does this equate to changing the discussion? This Messianic convent is something else. |

ThierryJay: Lol not so fast See as you mount excuses for Pendu everywhere.
You don forget say Messi sef get Covid for that hin 6 league goal season and even he only started to play around November.
Ronaldo played 16 games and got 1 goal. Whether he didnt start some games na nobody's business as it's simply because he wasn't good enough and Tenhag has been proven right over and over again as in the tournaments that matter since then, he was never found useful again from the WC to the Euros and the WC again.
Bringing Saudi impact is just ridiculously low at this point. Ighalo sef conquer Saudi. I say Ronaldo had 1 goal in 5 starts. You say COVID caused Messi to blank in league games even though he farmed UCL games while in PSG. Who is creating excuses now? 😀 Let’s die this matter abeg. I no too gbadun Ronaldo these days because of his arrogance and pride. And you overgbadun Messi for reasons best known to you. No need to prolong matter. |

Godx: USA women earn more for the national team than the men and revenues from both are shared equally. More Fa should adopt this method to grow their respective national women team. @bolded. This is copium at best. The men’s game is more lucrative than the women’s game. The women’s team only brought in more money circa 2019 because they won the World Cup (2015,2019) and the men didn’t qualify for Russia 2018 (first time since 1986). The men’s prize pool is always bigger. The men have always brought in the larger share of revenue. No other country does this rubbish. Athletes who aren’t participating in a tournament shouldn’t be getting half of the winnings from that competition, and this goes both ways. This decision is only going to deter more talents from playing for the USMNT. |

ThierryJay: Bro, He scored the 1 league goal just 4 years ago in 2022. Not his teenage years at all.
6 league goals in France is much better than 1 league goal in EPL. Well, that’s a different argument then. Teenage Ronaldo scoring one league goal is different from a veteran Messi scoring 6 league goals in a season after winning For the period you’re actually talking about… If you examine the stats closely enough, you’ll notice these facts: Messi scored 6 goals in 24 starts. 2 as a sub. In a full season. In a team that was in a title challenge. A team that won the league the previous season. Ronaldo had 1 goal in 5 starts. 5 sub apps. Half season. In a team that was in crisis with him having a huge fight with the manager. A team that won the league a decade ago. The idiot then went ahead and scored 14 goals in 16 apps in Saudi in the second half of that same season. Make of that what you will. |

ThierryJay: Still playing Ostrich? Ok Messi scored 6 league goals in his first season.
Ronaldo scored a whopping ONE league goal in his second season for United.
Why do you pretend that that didnt happen. Or second seasons don't matter?
Let me hear how logic will wiggle this one out. To be fair, Ronaldo scoring one league goal for United as a teenager doesn’t compare with Messi scoring 6 league goals in a season for PSG after winning the UCL and multiple Ballon d’ors at Barcelona. |
