Rapmoney: We were greeted with the tragic news of a young lady, Mmesoma Umeorini from Uga Community in Anambra State few days ago. She was brutally murdered by her ex boyfriend, Chima Ofoeke. Mmesoma was just 23 years old!
Over the weekend, I have gotten concrete information from friends in Uga in Anambra State. One was even a kinsman from the same kindred. I have been briefed on what actually transpired between the late Mmesoma Umeorini and Chima Ofoeke. I totally condemn taking anybody's life for whatever reason, and I pray the laws of the land punishes the murderer adequately because by taking the life of the young lady, he has limited his own right to live. There is a popular idea in law that states that "Your right to swing your arms ends where the right to protect my nose starts". Chima Ofoeke deserves to die for taking someone's life.
Why Our Young Women Should Be Careful.
Chima Ofoeke rented a shop for the late Mmesoma Umeorini. He also rented an apartment for her. This could have cost him millions. Unknowingly to him, the girl was planning to get married to another man by December 2026. According to family sources, and information from the chairman of Uga Town Union, the man who was coming to marry her was planning to bring drinks in December, of which the family had been preparing for.
My Questions
1. Since you knew already that you would be getting married to someone else, why collect material things from a man you knew you weren't ready to spend the future with?
2. Why not refund him the money he had invested in you so far, rather than sending him a breakup text message? Just like that?
3. Why not tell him not to invest in you because you don't see any future with him while he was paying for a shop and apartment?
4. What did the parents of the 23 year old girl do when they discovered that their daughter was planning to get married to another man who isn't the one that has been sponsoring her? Did they even bother to know how the house and shop came about? That is another case of parental irresponsibility.
I would advise young Nigerian ladies to be careful with how they collect material things, money, gifts from men. Any meat you know you cannot chew, don't bite it. If you know you do not love a man to the extent of spending the future with him, cut off immediately and stop collecting things from him. It is the spirit of greed and "I am smart, I am smart" that lead to things like this. Be contented with what you can create for yourself. Do not prove to be too smart, because that 'smartness' can eventually lead to your untimely death.

The only way to properly fund the police is to change the way our economy is run, and to widen the tax base.
Nigerian leaders 40 years ago, and Nigerian leaders today do not want to do that, as that means making hard choices, actually fighting corruption , both of which are unpopular.
Fighting corruption does not mean arresting the big men, it also means arresting the small petty corrupt little men and women. That is why Nigerians do not really like fighting corruption
And changing the economy means a generation where most of the population works long and hard making industrial products for export. No one wants that, everyone wants to live well. But that is how your china and south korea and even Japan did that, One to three generations did the 3 d's work to make those countries prosperous and industrial...and able to fund evenryting.
And widening the tax base is also very unpopular.
As a result we don't have the money to fund the police, and to fund things like the supporting structures for a good police force...froensices, ctv, records, traning, etc.

The law given by the Federal Government is that there should be no dredging of sand 10 kilometres radius in every of our bridges. But I'm seeing dredging of sand even 20 metres away from these bridges. I am placing it on notice that I will bring disciplinary action against two of you if the dredging fails to stop.
the static load are not caused by motorists driving against traffic.
They are caused by the accursed,corrupt and incompetent police, FRSC and Immigration officers at both ends of the bridge who mount checkpoints there for extortion and blocking traffic.
Nigeria is the only country on earth where law enforcement, especially police stop random cars as a matter of routine in the pretext of stop and search when there's nothing going on, only to look for the slightest excuse to extort.
So the Nigerian government actually knows about the dangers of static load on the bridge but that's where both the corrupt FRSC and police choose to create roadblocks

The action the respectable pastor did was actually a commandment of Jesus which are recorded in Matthew 10:14, Mark 6:11, Luke 9:5 and it was applied in Acts 18:6

Note that Pastor Bolaji while performing this action of taking off his shoes to dust then also made reference to this verse which he might have join as a joke and not out of anger but, he is their pastor and if you ask me, he somewhat cursed them or gave then up for judgment in that case.
While I do not hold brief for the congregation, I find their action nauseating and needless as to directly say that to the pastor means you are telling him he doesn't know what he is saying.

Police don't obey other law enforcement like FRSC and NSCDC because they also know their conducts are not professional or illegal.
