I asked a reasonable question that has always been ignored.

I will answer your question by saying, that it still counts as far as you accept it, not just by saying it but by your actions.

Let's get on point, what's the entire use of dying when at the end of it all we would still go to hell?? ?

My thoughts are that he should have lived on since whether he dies or not, the ones among us destinied for hell would still go to hell irrelevant of him dying for our sins.

Yes Jesus died for our sins, but People still go to hell because they consciously chose to reject his finished work on the cross.

Its like when a prisoner sentenced to life imprisonment, is granted amnesty by the president. but deliberately refuses it, even after he/she has been informed.

So him dying for our sins wasn't a necessity cuz at the end of it all we would still go to hell for the sins.

Guy, he died for the sins that were committed from the time of Adam till now, and so that we will have victory over sin by his blood and his grace. so that when you become born again his blood cleanses you from your past unrighteousness, and you become totally forgiven, then if you go back and continue sinning you have polluted yourself naw,so you can't enter heaven, but then the important is to always ask for forgiveness. Thank God that God is loving father who gives many chances , hence we are not consumed like in the days of old.

But it's been known since from the days before he came to earth that people who repent before their death are forgiven of their sins, so Jesus had no reasons to die for our sins since it won't make any difference

Good day my fellow Nairalanders, ever since I was a child I've always had a question which has been on my mind for Christians.

It is well known according to the Bible that Jesus died for the sins of mankind, so I'm going to ask you guys why are we still going to hell for the sins we've committed since Jesus has already died for it?
