Some ignorant mourning wailers are saying floating the naira is same as devaluing it. Hell NO!

If you devalue the Naira, you fix an official exchange rate to it. E.g N250 to a dollar. With that approach, the black market rate will jump to beyond N400 to a dollar.

But with floating, many traders with high volume of dollars come in and trade dollars based on demand. In this approach, there is no official dollar rate set by the government. The rate is purely determined by how much dollars are demanded and how much dollars are available. This way, the Naira finds its true value.

With a premeditated display of NICENESS from the concerned contestants who hitherto have been living an E-life characterized by egoism and narcissism... One can only be perplexed as regards whom amongst the contestants is exuding her true naturalistic attributes presently....
Prompt reply of quotes and PMs all in an attempt to be the "Miss Nairaland 2016" which is in contrast with the norms, rules and regulations of the Association of ladies on Nairaland is now the order of the day....
LieDetector happens to be caught up in this whole facade by the contestants and is unsure/undecided on whom to vote for come the voting day.... I believe some other nairalanders are in my shoe right now..... We are not regulars on this romance board hence have no slightest of idea who or what the contestants look like. We would however love to partake in this epoch as it is the first of its kind.


Our demand:

We hereby implore the Nairaland fraternity or whomever it may concern to provide us with a comprehensive list of the participants/contestants.... It will now be left for us to discern the REAL contestant who wins the grand price of N50,000.
