You may want to display ads on your site’s sidebar or footer,or maybe you just want to add a little functionality to your blog (like subscription form, contact form etc).

I know there are a whole bunch of free plugins to do it, but you can also make use of the custom “Custom HTML” widget �. Yeah, I know how that sounds but pardon the expression.

The Custom HTML Widget allows you to add HTML code to the sidebar or footer of your site.

Note: Some HTML tags like script , iframe , form, input , and
style are not available on Premium, Personal, or free plans. You need to upgrade to the Business Plan and install a custom plugin or theme to use them.

ALSO NOTE THAT: The font and appearance of the title in widgets varies by theme.

So let’s get back to business.

You can Add a Custom HTML widget to your sidebar or footer by going to your site’s Dashboard then to Appearance >> Widgets



Then you’ll be redirected to the widgets page.


Scroll down and click on the Custom HTML widget, you’ll be revealed a scroll-down menu Choose where you want it to be (it can be sidebar or footer)



After choosing it click on Add Widget then you’ll be given the options to edit it.



Fill in the Title & Content fields and click on the Save button.

As it turned out in this week’s episode, it was all part of an elaborate plan on the Reverse-Flash’s part to free himself from Iron Heights as it would result in his own power-dampener (Cicada’s dagger) being destroyed, allowing him to regain his abilities.
Now, after weeks of manipulation, it all comes to a head next week in the Season 5 Finale. But if you’re too excited to wait that long, then you’ll be glad to hear that The CW has released a brand new trailer for the explosive episode.

The finale, titled “Legacy”, will see Grace/Cicada II go on a violent rampage after her plan to disperse a metahuman disease across the country failed. As a result, she will unleash her anger by attempting to take out Central City’s metahuman population by hand instead. However, with Thawne’s plan in full force, it appears that Nora will race to the future in a bid to stop the Reverse-Flash from escaping his punishment and disappearing from the timeline. Can she make it to him in time? Or will Thawne, like always, be one step ahead?

The Flash returns to The CW next Tuesday, May 14, at 8:00 p.m. ET to air its Season 5 Finale.
