The former governor of Abia state visited the parents of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu

The former governor met with His Excellency Eze I.O Kanu and his wife at their palace in Afara-Ibeku, Umuahia

They discussed issues surrounding Kanu’s release…
A former governor of Abia state Orji Uzor-Kalu on Tuesday, January 3, visited the parents of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.

During the visit, the former governor discussed the need for the release of Kanu with His Excellency Eze I. O Kanu and his wife Ugoeze Sally Kanu.

Sources within the family said Uzor-Kalu’s visit to the palace of Eze Kanu was met without much difference from the reply the former governor got from the IPOB leader in Kuje.

Orji-Kalu had in December 2015, visited Kanu in prison.

The former governor during his visit told Kanu that he has to be released

He also based his discussion on the analysis that a prison facility is not befitting for the IPOB leader.

PoliticsRe: Top Secret: After Formal Governor Visit The IPOB Leader Is Freed by lightblazingnow(op):
After the meeting, Mr. Kalu, who defected recently to the ruling All Progressives Congress, told journalists in Abuja that the detainees had given him the “go-ahead to talk on their behalf” with the Federal Government.

The former governor was optimistic that supporters of Mr. Kanu would now be more cooperative with the authorities, following his discussion with their leader.

He said the discussion will form the basis for an interface between the Federal Government and Mr. Kanu.

He added that the planned talk would have the view to end Mr. Kanu’s trial.

“I came to talk to him to talk to his supporters. I think they will have a change of attitude. We are all Nigerians. If both himself and the Federal Government are genuinely interested, we can come to a common ground. It is a possibility,” said Mr. Kanu.

On the decision of the Federal High Court hearing the case against Mr. Kanu and his colleagues to grant partial protection to prosecution witnesses, Mr. Kalu said the practice has long existed.

“The protection of witnesses is nothing new in law. We can do that but it may not get to that stage; if we talk to each other well. It is possible to settle out of court if both parties are realistic.

“Now he has given me the go-ahead to talk on his behalf. And if I can speak on his behalf, then the process will begin; and if things go as they ought to, we might not get to the stage of having to require protection of witnesses.

“If he trusts me and the Federal Government trusts me, I don’t see how this will not work. I know the government well. I am a member of the ruling party. So I can use my position well,” Mr. Kalu said.

The former governor explained that his visit was in line with the United Nations’ charter on human rights and in furtherance of his duty to the state he once governed.

“My visit to Kanu is in compliance with the United Nation’s charter that, anyone who is in prison should frequently be visited.

“I decided to come and visit him as a younger brother and as a former governor of Abia State; once you become a governor, you have a duty to always protect your people.

On Biafra issue

“The issue of Biafra is a very big one in Nigeria today. Some of us are waiting for the president’s mind to calm down and I will appeal to him to personally release Nnamdi Kanu to me and I’m sure the president will listen to me when I finish marshalling out my reasons. These are young boys, they have the right to ask for Biafra, but the problem is the process.

"People have committed more offences than what Nnamdi did but they were pardoned; so, I’m still going to appeal to the president, we will have a common ground very soon. Let’s see what will happen between now and the end of the year. This issue should not be rushed, the president should not be pressurised; we are talking to him informally. We are talking to the president through the international community, we are talking to him through African presidents and we are talking to him through personal friends. He is going to listen, Buhari is not as hard as people think and he has a heart that flows with milk.”

"So, let us get the right core. I will make application if they will allow me to see Nnamdi Kanu in prison very soon and I will like to talk to him and I know he will listen to me. Nobody is saying anybody cannot talk about Biafra, you can talk about any other republic but you should not take Nigeria for granted; it’s a sovereign nation and we’ve all sworn to keep the country together."

The former Abia State governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, who on Friday, December 16, visited the embattled pro-Biafra leader in Kuje, where he is being held over crime against the state

Chief Kalu who broke the news of his visit on his Facebook wall said: “Today, I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Kuje Prison and we engaged in a very long discussion. Kanu is my brother and a son of the soil.

“He shouldn’t be where he is because Kuje Prison is not his home. It is therefore my utmost concern to see him regain his freedom like every other Nigerian.”

You should understand that dialogue is the best weapon for any political difference. I love this man he made a way for kanu where there was no way. He had to talk to the power that be to let go of the young man. Asking the authority to forgive his highhanded and naughtiness. Big man talk to big man, big man understand.

Almost half of the unlearn folks in Igbo Land were busy castigating Chief Kalu for jumping ship. How market? Nnamdi Kanu knows deep in his heart that his release or maybe a temporary freedom is tied up to the discussion he held with the formal governor.

The bail conditions tell it all.

The conditions are:

— Mr. Kanu must not hold rallies.

— He must not grant interviews.

— He must not be in a crowd of more than 10 people.

— He must provide three sureties in the sum of N100 million each.

— One of the sureties must be a senior highly placed person of Igbo extraction such as a senator.

— The second surety must be a highly respected Jewish leader since Mr. Kanu said his religion is Judaism

— The third surety must be a highly respected person who owns landed property and is resident in Abuja

— The IPOB leader must deposit his Nigerian passport

— He must also deposit his British passport with the court

— He must provide the court with reports on the progress of his health and treatment on a monthly basis.

— The order for him to deposit his Nigerian and British passports also mean he cannot travel out of the country (If this is considered, it is the thirteenth condition).

Justice Nyako however refused bail to the three other defendants standing trial with Kanu, namely Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.

The judge maintained that the only reason she admitted Mr. Kanu to bail was because of his ill health.

She said although the charge of terrorism had been struck out against the defendants, the charge of treasonable felony hanging over them was a very serious offence.

Ndigbo should be very grateful for the decamping of the formal governor from the people democratic party PDP to All progressive Congress APC.

Christianity EtcRe: Have You Ever Witnessed The Power Of The Cross? by lightblazingnow(op):
The tendency today is to feel that such a position on God’s part is too severe. So we find ourselves manufacturing another gospel. We may say that sin is not that bad–but God said it is very bad. So bad that He demands the death penalty. When we look at the cross we see how drastically God deals with sin. The Scripture says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us” (2 Corinthians 5:21). If God had to send His only Son to the cross in order to pay for sin, then sin must be dark indeed in the sight of God.

Third, in the cross we see a glorious exhibition of God’s love. We look out upon the world of nature, and in the provisions and plans made for our happiness we discover a revelation of God’s love. Yet as wonderful as these things are in revealing divine love, nothing is comparable to the sacrifice of Calvary. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Paul writes to the Roman Christians, “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6-cool.

Christianity EtcRe: Have You Ever Witnessed The Power Of The Cross? by lightblazingnow(op):
Second, in the cross we see the strongest proof of God’s hatred of sin. God has stated that the soul that sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:20) and that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

To gain a clear understanding of God’s attitude toward sin, we only have to consider the purpose of Christ’s death. The Scripture says, “Without shedding of blood there is no remission” (Hebrews 9:22). Here is a positive statement that there can be no forgiveness of sin unless our debt has been paid.

God will not tolerate sin. He condemns it and demands payment for it. God could not remain a righteous God and compromise with sin. His holiness and His justice demand the death penalty.

Christianity EtcRe: Have You Ever Witnessed The Power Of The Cross? by lightblazingnow(op):
When we look at the cross, we see several things:

First, in the cross we see the clearest evidence of the world’s guilt. At the cross of Christ, sin reached its climax. Its most terrible display took place at Calvary. It was never blacker nor more hideous. We see the human heart laid bare and its corruption fully exposed. The Scripture teaches that man’s heart is desperately wicked.

Many people have said that men and women have improved through the centuries and that if Christ came back today, He would not be crucified but would be given a grand and glorious reception.

Christ does come to us every day–in the form of Bibles that we do not read, in the form of churches that we do not attend, in the form of human need that we pass by. I am convinced that if Christ came back today, He would be crucified more quickly than He was 2,000 years ago. Sin never improves.

In the judgment hall of Pilate the cry was heard, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!” The people had seen His miracles. They had heard His gracious words. They had seen how He relieved suffering humanity. Then why this rabble cry? Why this murderous spirit?

The answer is found deep in the human heart. Human nature has not changed, and as we stand and gaze at the cross, we see clear evidence that mankind is basically wrong, and we hear the thunderous verdict of God Himself when He says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Christianity EtcRe: Have You Ever Witnessed The Power Of The Cross? by lightblazingnow(op):
The people of Corinth were blind to Christ crucified and what it meant. To them, His death in this manner was foolishness. The Greek word here is moria, which literally means “idiocy.” Out of this Greek word comes the word slowpoke. This is how the Corinthians evaluated the crucifixion of Christ.

The idea of a world being saved by Christ crucified was indeed foolishness to those who were proud and boastful and who thought the wisdom of the world was vested in them. How different it is for those of us who, in simple faith, know Christ crucified. For us, the cross is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

It was my privilege to be the guest of a secretary general at the United Nations in New York. He took me to the little room that has been designated a “prayer room” at the United Nations building. I went into the semidarkness. There was something missing. Immediately I recognized that there was no cross in that room.

Here was religion without a cross … a testimony that the nations of the world are deeply religious but have not yet come to the point where they are willing to accept Christ and Him crucified. Thus, the people of the world stumble on blindly toward eventual judgment and destruction, not realizing that they are rejecting Christ and Him crucified, which is the only hope for salvation.
Christianity EtcHave You Ever Witnessed The Power Of The Cross? by lightblazingnow(op):
When the Apostle Paul went to the great and intellectual Grecian city of Corinth, he said, “I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2). When Paul described what his message was, he said, “We preach Christ crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:23).

To the people of Corinth the preaching of the cross was foolishness, nonsense. But Paul said, “The foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men” (1 Corinthians 1:25). In that great intellectual center, the cross of Christ was a stumbling block to the children of Israel, and to the Gentiles it was sheer idiocy.

This Gospel of Christ and Him crucified is still foolishness to millions who are perishing all over the world today. How few people recognize that the answer to all the world’s problems can be found at the foot of the cross.

As we stand at the cross today and gaze on a confused and frustrated world, God asks the question, “Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe” (1 Corinthians 1:20-21, NIV).

“We preach Christ crucified.” This is the focal point of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a picture of blood flowing from Christ’s veins as He hung on the cross. The message of shed blood is repugnant to many, and they turn from such a gory sight, feeling that their delicate sensibilities have been outraged. Many people will accept Christ’s character, but they reject His crucifixion.

Have you ever taken your time to think about those things politicians in Nigerian do that is no longer strange to you but is just like nursery rhyme that you can not do away with? Below are

7 habits that most Nigerians can relate to politicians in the Nigeria .

1. Sirens in traffic This is very common among politicians in Nigerian, especially in traffic. Those dreadful times in Lagos traffic, the last time you will want to hear is a nosily siren from a politician’s vehicle. Regardless of how blocked the road is, all a politician mopol is concern with is how to blare their sirens for people to make way.

2. It takes forever to see a Nigerian politician The long queue you go through to see a Nigerian politician When you try to get a meeting with a Nigerian politician, you can end up wasting your whole day at the waiting room. They form this busyness with the political responsibilities and how tight their schedule is.

3. Election bait The only time Nigerian politicians remember to give back to the society is when election is just few months away. That is when you observed that roads are fixed, school facilities are in good shape. This is also the time they begin to resurrect those abandoned projects so as to woo the heart of the electorates.

4. Election jingles Nigerian politicians get the best campaign jingles Election campaign among Nigerian politician is a time to know whose election jingles is the favourite of the people. That is when their jingles are song like the national anthem on the social media just to create publicity. Their jingles are just like a Nigerian telecom service provider slogan “Everywhere

5. Posters and billboards syndrome The campaign team of any Nigerian politician can choke you with posters and handbills during election rallies. You just discover all the walls and billboards are covered with political posters.

6. Honey coated propaganda Endless promises from Nigerian politicians That moment at the campaign rally when Nigerian politician begins to promise the moon and stars just to get votes. This promises will only express this sarcastic look, like we haven’t been here before?

7. Short-lived friendship Nigerian politicians are only friends to the people before elections A monkey likes a banana because the stomach needs to be satisfied so also is a Nigerian politician before election. You become best friends because of the votes they need to get them the political seat. Ironically, we are not fools oh, we know what it is.

So many times people think they know what they are doing until they are put to a test by a superior evidence. The evidence of men is their eyes. Someone will say if I can not see with my eyes I will never believe this thing. What difference does it makes? You are dominated by your senses.

You should know by now that anything that is visible doesn't need faith to authenticate them. What about a blind man, how does he confirm that what you are telling him is actually? The same sense rules confirm them all. But when it comes to spiritual matter forget your senses. You heard me well. It's spiritual and beyond the reach of your imagination.

When it comes to identifying the prophet of God Almighty, if you are not a prophet and do not have a clue about how the spiritual world operates, how could you know who's a prophet and who is not. I read some folks talk about men of God Almighty as if they are one of them. Instead they are full natural breed who has never seen visions or had a dream in their lives.

Only the demons in your lives will hate prophet T. B. Joshua of God Almighty. You got to love him. But if you allow those fouls spirits operating in the hearts of disobedient scorners and jesters you will find yourself fighting against the lord God Almighty.

Someone says how do know these things? The world is divided into two parts the good and the evil. Evil is bad and have no brother or sister yet it seeks for brethren by force initiating men in the evil there by corrupting their tongues to utter idoi words which are not true.

We are the people of truth and we prevail over weapons of humanity and their futile plans. I am born again that means initiation. Deepest water of the Holy Spirit. If you are there you will hear my voice if you are not, you will remember I said you are in the other side of the battle of ages.

March on weapon of Satanic destruction and the glory of the father God Almighty. Prayers

We the People of God Almighty love you prophet of God Almighty in Christ Jesus name. Amen.
