Anon123: Theres no way creative Director or project director is related to Marketing management which is the reason why purpose of visit was the only reason given. If you decided on a course, make sure its in line with your current experience/job description mostly. Most people study A in bsc and come out working in B field. If you wish to apply for Canadian admission, you must maintain a career progression by applying to courses related to B. In other cases you studied A, graduated and work in the A field, pls maintain programs related in that A field. I say this cos Admission is easy cos schools are more interested in your money but the visa stage is the koko and they dont care if you have millions stack in your account but your intended program isnt related to your present experience. Its a straightforward purpose of visit denial.
To answer your question, yes you need to change the course to something related to your experience or job role Thank you Anon123, I thought about it when i choose Marketing Management, because i wanted a career path to be the Marketing Project Manager of my company but with refusal i think i need to change course to Project Management. I was just worried the officer might think i am not a bonafides student to change my course after a refusal. |

Hi guys, I applied for a student visa March but was rejected based on this reason “I am not satisfy that you will leave canada at the end of stay…Based on purpose of visit”. I applied for Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management. I use to work as a Creative Director and now a Project Director.
According to my GCMS note 1. Should i change my course from Marketing Management to Project Management? 2. Will changing of course affect my next application?
