Help me thank God oo. My infant's TRV visa just landed, applied August 6 both eligibility and approval arrived today. Na only me remain oo since May. IRCC please ooo.

i agree, letting your spouse going there increases the assistance that the Mps will give to your application. i know we are around the same time applicants. and i also got a feedback that they are actively reviewing my application. I asked my wife to assist me reaching out to an MP, they asked for post code and number before assisting. that goes to show they trim down the amount of people they will need to help as it may not necessarily be in their jurisdiction, i have pasted the reply she gave for your perusal. i know we are thesame month so i think you should follow this route as they can expedite it aas we have exceeded the wait time.

I tired for IRCC oo. I complained to the Nairobi office that my application has passed the processing time. They replied that they would review my documents in few weeks no update for a month. I have written to them again no update. My infant’s TRV has passed processing time, I sent an email to all the MP’s in London Ontario, I was told that they still have a backlogs since September 2020 and my child needs to reapply for a TRV and it takes 14-30 business days. I just have to tell SP to travel to Canada rather than stay behind to nurse our 3 month old child while taking online classes. When she gets her study permit, SIN and bank account. She will reapply TRV for our child. Is it possible to also file a TRV application for myself while my SOWP is still under processing. ?

I applied for a SOWP and visitors visas for my husband and 2 kids on February 21, 2021and up till yesterday no single word from IRCC. I have been e:mailing ircc.covid-travelexemptions-exemptionsdevoyage-covid.ircc@cic.g; the IRCC Ottawa and Nairobi Addresses to complain but all I get is auto responses. However, I got the e:mail below from ircc.covid-travelexemptions-exemptionsdevoyage-covid.ircc. today and is not encouraging.

I am just confused and frustrated. To start with, my husband did not apply for a Visitor visa but SOWP (only my kids applied for visitor visa under him). I have been reading of people who applied as late as August receiving their PPR and have been wondering when these guys will let me share my timeline with you all...

Please has anyone received this kind of letter or know anyone who has received this kind of letter, please let me know how they handled it.

Please note that IRCC will only issue written authorization to an applicant who holds a valid Canadian travel document (i.e. electronic travel authorization [eTA] or visitor visa). However, since you do not yet have a valid Canadian travel document, we are unable to process your request for an exemption to the Canadian travel restrictions. Good morning my people, please I really need your help. I and my husband has decided to submit his application for his SOWP and all documents needed are ready. But please I am using my Gckey account since I already have my student visa. Please I don't know how to go about it as regards to the questionnaires. Pls if possible I need a step by step guide.

you can create a new gckey or use your SP gckey to apply for work permit. The questionnaire is self explanatory. If you still have confusion you can check YouTube videos for step by step guide.

My spouse is in Ontario but her school is in BC. She has remained in Ontario because her school is online. Kindly advise if she can contact the MP in her province of residence. If yes, how does she contact the MP? Please help! This unending wait is tiring.

Little advice:
You don’t need to wait for permit and sin before filling for sowp, reason being that I saw so many families apply for sowp while in Nigeria n they got approved .

If for any reason , the response is slow and you need to travel , you can then send the permit and sin via webform.

that’s great good news coming soon. I email 4 MPs in London, Ontario. They told me due to the coming elections they can’t do anything I should email again in October. For my mental health I decide not to be checking my gckey everyday anymore haha. Did you get any notification when your eligibility started?

In 2019, I submitted for my wife from Dubai, nothing from a Nigeria and it was sent to Abu Dhabi.

IRCC is a really unpredictable organization, we rely on grace and favor from God.

Thanks guys. The thing just dey do me like magic. I have just received 3 emails from IRCC in respect of the travel exemption authorization that we applied for on 26th August. The one for my son (visitor) was approved (per email subject) while those for the rest says courtesy in the email title. All three emails says applications are in process and a decision will be communicated soonest while also saying if they need additional documents they will let me know. I think these are simply procedural but the feeling and vibes is definitely positive. Looking like its TGIF already!

NB: I have emailed Qlife and will do same for IOM shortly. I attached the medical request and passport for my son, as well as proof that the others have completed their medicals in May. We will explore and deploy all options. Will the house posted soonest!

Make God touch their hearts to pick our files. I got my gcms note today. No update eligibility was blank. My file went to Manila, Nairobi, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Vienna, Lagos, London. Transfer reason: workload (re) distribution.

I tire ooo. I emailed IRCC Manila, Philippines telling them my application has passed processing time since I applied from there (No response),
I emailed IRCC Nairobi the same email knowing that my file is with them ( No response),
I emailed IRCC London same also they responded in 2 hours that I should send a Webform which I did immediately.
This morning I got a No reply email from IRCC that "We will respond to these priority enquiries only:
· Clients in crisis situations (like those affected by the situation in Afghanistan)
· Clients facing vulnerable circumstances (emergency and urgent requests)
· Clients who need to tell us about a change in their circumstances, which has a direct impact on their application (like marriage, birth of a child, or similar)
· Clients who are submitting documents requested by one of our officers
· Changes in contact information
· Requests to withdraw an application or refunds
If your enquiry is NOT one of the priority enquiries listed above, you will not receive a reply.
If you included attachments with your enquiry, rest assured that they will be added to your file shortly.

After a successful visa application and 2 refusals for request for written authorization, 2nd being a day to hubby's flight, my husband finally made it in on the 2nd September, on his SOWP. Call to IRCC Canada about enquiries for written authorization (WA) told me that he needs it, a subsequent email followed up after the call. Enquiry email to all IRCC offices: Nairobi office corroborated what IRCC said, that SOWP holder needs a WA. What saved the day was a response from the London Office 7 hours to his flight that a SOWP holder does not require a WA or any other supporting documents from IRCC to come into Canada. See confusion from different branches of the same office!. Hubby immediately rushed to do covid test at 4pm (flight was 10pm)! Flashed the letter in their faces and was allowed to board. POE Canada was a breeze and no mention was made about the previous refusals. Just happy to all be reunited again after 9 months. All the best to those still waiting. God will come through speedily for you as well IJN

I have someone that hasn’t gone to ca yet that requested for written authorization for her child and she got the above screenshot so don’t be discouraged.
Mp told her it’s been attached august 25 and ircc replied her with the same email I got as well on 30th of august and she’s still in Nigeria .

I think everything depends on the content of the letter sent and how emotional it is .

I'm not sure if this is possible because travel exemption is either based on family reunification or compassionate reason for you you to join your family member already living in Canada. In my own case, it was a family reunification.

I got thesame message when I applied for exemption letters for my family, since your application is still in progress, they won't send you the exemption letter. I assumed they already approved your authorization but waiting for final decision on your application before they release the letter. In our case, I got these letters for my spouse and kids on July 31, visa got approved August 12 and authorization letters for my kids were sent thesame day but I noticed that the authorization letters issued date was July 31st, same day I got this letter you have now. I also think this letter will make them work faster on your applications because I found Rapid Response Operation on the authorization letters.
NB: My spouse exemption letter was issued today.

sure no problem, I sent a webform adding my upfront medicals few days after I got this “ “Since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi, Kenya, we invite you to also contact them in order to: Report important changes, Provide documents, Add a representative or designated individual on file, Obtain information regarding the status of your application, or Enquire on an outcome to a request". when I emailed Nairobi they confirmed my document is with them.

This is not possible, they will ask for country of residence on the forms, that's what determines the visa processing office..Even if the visa is processed under your Mycic account.

In my experience, creating seperate cic and using individual email addresses saves you confusion.
IRCC easily get things confused and complicate issues...keep it simple!!

My brother I just tire for IRCC, they can be weird these days. My country of residence wasn’t Nigeria, I didn’t apply from Nigeria, 98% my documents are not from Nigeria only police report thingy and property document proof. Still my application was sent to Nairobi. I just tire!
