Don't let this simple device intimidate you, its can be easily manufactured in Nigeria. Almost every part of it. Lets talk about manufacturing the famous electric blender in Nigeria. Feel free to add your own comments and ideas. If you know about plastic and metal fabrication, or you have worked/working in fabrication company please comment. I take Nigerian flag beg you. The plastic parts: 1. Blender motor casing (Two parts) 2. Blending jugs plus enclosure for wet food - 1 3.Blending cups plus enclosure (small) for wet food - 1 and above All the plastic parts can be easily manufactured in Nigeria by our various plastic fabrication companies. Any fabrication company can easily fabricated the parts. A good investment will be made on the mould, the plastic parts will be fabricated in the mould. This is a task that many Nigerian have been avoiding for decades, but how long are we going to run from our destiny? The AC motor: All the parts of this motor can be made in Nigeria, guys please investigate and get back to this post. In order to make things easier we will be depending on some factories to cut out and also fabricate the metal parts. The coper wires are available in the market and the machines for winding the corper wire can be easily manufactured in Nigeiria at a cheap price. 5k sef too much, check youtube for more info. The stators are usually made by cutting some sheet metals, then stacking the together, the rotor is usually fabricated. We many companies in Nigeria that can manufacture these parts. Electric Hot Plates I think this one is the easiest to manufacture and we can earn a living from it, instead of relying on imported products. Manufacturing will enable many Nigerians conquer poverty and also sow a good seed for their generation. Once again majority of what we are importing can be manufactured in Nigeria, then why are we still importing? The hot plate is widely used in Nigeria and can be easily manufactured in Nigeria. (A quality product) The only stuff we need to import is the Nichrome wire which is very cheap. The rest will be manufactured in Nigeria. In order to get professional looking product the casing of the hot plate will be out sourced to one of the metal plate and tray manufacturing companies. Nigeria has fantastic metal tray and plates fabrication companies, most of them are in the Northern part of the country. Our Northern brothers should give us more info on this. On the other hand the casing can be manufactured by individuals with manufacturing experience. What we need the most is an hydraulic press that will press the sheet metal to our desired shape. If you know companies with this machines kindly contribute the info to this post. Thanks in advance. The next part is the heating element aka Nichrome wire. The heating element will be imported from abroad or bought from the market if its available. Nichrome wires are very cheap no worry. The next part is for POP casting which is optional, it depends on the design. The last but not the least is the electrical connection, very easy. Juts connect both ends of the heating element to a wire (+ - wires). Done. We have our professionally/janded looking hot plate. Please contribute to the is post with any idea. Awaken the Nigerian Manufacturing consciousness. Importing products you can manufacture is not cool. Abeg contribute to this post.
