Its really sad that in Nigeria,we accept everythin dished out to us. As graduates,we knw ow much it cost our parents to give us quality education frm d cradle to uni level nd if all u get afta 4+x yrs of labourin in skool wit little or no resources in a non conducive learnin environment. Its really terrible that these organisations offer peanuts to graduates under miserable workin conditions. I was talkin to my British born nd bred citizen that I gt an offer of 120k nd she was like What! That's peanut. How much can u save at d end of d month, I just laffed. Our govt nid to do somethin bout this. Its really sad nd that's y there is high level of corruption. Imagine if d poster suddenly became an ordinary chairman of a local govt, he will embezzle money wiv both eyes closed. Nigerian graduates must stand up for their rights, the earlier,d better. Else, our generations unborn will meet this crap. |
I think you should consider in this order: 1) LSE/Cambridge/Oxford 2) City 3) Imperial 4) Any of the other universities in the First Division + Aston + Reading 5) Heriot Watt 6) Any of the other universities in the Second Division 7) Others Thanks Sagamite, I appreciate your help. God Bless u. |

i would love to study in the Uk later this year for a MSc Programme in Finance, Investment or a combination of both courses. I need advice on picking solid schools. I have come across different ranking tables but most of them are generalised. I want a list of really solid universities where i will get value for money and be hot cake in the industry upon completion. Thanks all for your contributions. |
@poster: i advice u to just start immediately. i also had the same problem, thot i could attach an affidavit until i wanted to apply for students visa last year. if u wanna make september start dis yr, i advice u to go to your school, get a letter to that effect, go to WAEC office wit N5000, the letter from ur school and your original birth certificate. i'll advice u to also get a photocopy of the school photo album where ur picture is and get the principal to certify it as true copy, if possible, scan and save on a flash cos WAEC will tell u they dont have your picture on their system again, It happened to me, i have submitted all these things since June last year, i now got a call again that they dont av my pix on their system so i had to go to my sec skool early this january. all the best o, and God's favor cos its a veryyyy looooooonnnnnnggggggg process. |
