I'm currently on a student visa in the UK and would like to visit Dubai for few days.

Please who knows the requirements for getting the visa and how i can go about it?

@Dayo: its true they actually dont need your CAS printout, all u need is the number. and if u r sure ur school has updated the UKBA's system with your tuition fee payment, then go ahead and apply, i applied without the printout cos i was issued a CAS before i paid and my school said they were not gonna issue another one but just update UKBA's system with the amount i paid.

Dont worry, u will be issued your entry clearance this time around.

Congrats to all that have received their visas, I'm in Glasgow already and lectures have started. Wish u guys safe trip into the UK, don't forget to bring robb, aboniki and d likes, also pack stuffs like procold etc, all d best.

I feel relieved right now cos at some point I got frustrated before submitting cos of all d rules and conditions I has to follow.

Thank God I went through an agent. I may not have known the little things that made a difference.

Please after keeping money in your account, make sure u show a transaction before printing the statement. U can ask them to debit ur account for the statement and let it reflect in ur statement before they print it, that's If u have more than the amount u need so d debit can be accomodated.

I submitted my original transcript, birth certificate, attestation letter from my uni and a statement of purpose alongside my application. Including d statement of account and a letter from my dad.

Hey all, after waiting for 10 working days, got a text to come for ma passport and to God be the glory, I got my entry clearance today, Thanks to all dat contributed on dis thread. Good luck to those still waiting. Mwah.

@ femtopsy: I used d ikeja office. I was also given a black docket. I guess its cos of d rush dats y its late. Hope it will be ready this week.

I doubt if d agent thing determines how long they process d visa cos I went thru BCIE nd dey even gave me a letter but it was exactly 10 working days on Friday and no SMS yet. Hopefully dis week'I should get their message.

Reading the post here has reduced my anxiety cos I have also applied for visa and its exactly 10 working days today and no response yet. I hope it will be ready soon so I know what decisions to make. Anyway, congratulations to those that have been issued visa.

Please after keeping the money in my account for 28 days, is dere any law that states that the money should remain in my account after i apply for my visa and durin the period i wait for the visa to be issued.

Hi Sagamite, saw ur earlier posts on Glasgow and now am gettin jittery cos I'll be going there for my MSc in Sept(Uni of Glasgow).

Tho ur posts were as far bck as 08,I want to know ow friendly d place is cos I don't want to live in a hostile environment.

All these advice of gymin nd cuttin down of food will only work if she's naturally a slim person.
Some slim pple eat like there is no tomorrow nd they remain lepa,some get extremely fat once they start havin kids,some start gettin fat at a particular age, everythin depends on d individual. So don't be suprised if afta goin to d gym for months,u aint seein results.

U'll be left to choose btw ur love for her and her weight gain.
