Phones / Re: Huawei’s ‘oak OS’ Will Be Launching By August Or September by Lildoks(m): 9:44am On Jun 11, 2019 |
Masaratixxx: Open Source: Meaning any mobile phone manufacturers can get license to implement the OS in the phones they produced. Android is open source that's why a lot of mobile phone manufacturers (Samsung, Infinix, Lenovo etc) use Android OS. Close Source: The OS can only be used by the manufacturer and not available for public use. Just like Apple iOS which only runs on iPhones and Blackberry 10 OS which only runs on Blackberry phones. This Huawei Oak is going to be closed source, so it will only be used by Huawei or if some other manufacturers can get license from to implement it. 1 Like |

Ngasky: You are all still making a mistake that Oak is open source. It is closed source and other mobile phone manufacturers can't use it. So Android is still going to thrive. |

Not only in China. They assemble in a lot of countries also. And they get most of their parts From Samsung which is a Korea company. lilbest4: |

Nbote:LOL. Pity Google how? Oak is a closed source OS and Android is open source, meaning a lot of mobile phones manufacturers still going to use Android OS. Huawei and Honor phones ain't so popular in Nigeria. Besides Nigerians and Africans naturally like copying what they use in the US. I don't think it will be any successful than Windows Mobile OS 1 Like |

These are some of the questions I was asked during the interview today 1. They asked to introduce myself 2. Why Eco Bank? 3. If I was President of Nigeria for a year what will I do differently? 4. Since I was an Engr graduate, they asked if I was good with Numerics/calculations. I said yes and I was given a simple numerical question based on percentage 5. They asked about a time which I convinced someone to do something they wouldn't normally do 6. They asked why I wanted to go into finance rather than engr field 7. If I've held a leadership role before 8. They ask if I'm successful the department I would like 9. They asked if I see myself in the Banking field or what field do I see myself in 5-10 years 10. They asked if it wasn't banking which other field would I like 2 Likes |

Electrical guys should be ready to answer 50 questions in 25 minutes. Basically everything on Elect/Elect Engineering, Power Factor, SCR and power electronics basically and all the formulas, Maxwell Equations, DC Motors mainly (study all the rules involved and effects on Torque and Speed of a DC motor). C++, just the basics (data types, main(), how to signify the directory (&), bitwise operators), Coloumbs Law, Kirchoff and basic circuit theorem. 8 Likes |
