The interview is the last stage. Only those who passed the aptitude test were shortlisted for the interview.
Who told you it is last stage. Do you know the thousands of people shortlisted for the interview?

What's the meaning of close source and open source

I no understand that one

Open Source: Meaning any mobile phone manufacturers can get license to implement the OS in the phones they produced. Android is open source that's why a lot of mobile phone manufacturers (Samsung, Infinix, Lenovo etc) use Android OS.

Close Source: The OS can only be used by the manufacturer and not available for public use. Just like Apple iOS which only runs on iPhones and Blackberry 10 OS which only runs on Blackberry phones.

This Huawei Oak is going to be closed source, so it will only be used by Huawei or if some other manufacturers can get license from to implement it.

Isa it seems you don't understand what open source means. Already all the major qpp developers are not in the US. Secondly just like Linux you can have different models but still understanding each kernel. As for the huawei os it will understand both apk apps and any format that they decide to initiate later.
In the long run android stand to loose as almost all Chinese companies will convert to new os, also many foreign companies will also prepare themselves against finding themselves in hard situation by American policies. This will eventually extend to even European companies.

You are all still making a mistake that Oak is open source. It is closed source and other mobile phone manufacturers can't use it. So Android is still going to thrive.

Before andriod we use smart Phones after andriod Smart phones will still exist.

No OS will last forever. Remember blackberry no one taught another OS would take over easily. The key is, Andriod isn't perfect, once any phone maker can exploit the imperfect nature of the OS,they will breakthrough.

I believe Hauwei would pull through. Once they launch they should give developers incentives better than Google u will see how fast people will migrate.

No OS will last forever? Tell that to Microsoft Windows OS for PCs

Not only in China. They assemble in a lot of countries also. And they get most of their parts From Samsung which is a Korea company.
lilbest4:
lol. American companies will suffer more if the Chinese government intervene.
Apple assemble their iPhone in China imagine if China chased them out.
If China force all Chinese phone makers to boycott American companies, Qualcom, android, Apple will almost collapse.
If oppo, vivo, oneplus, Xiaomi and lenovo boycott Qualcom and Android they will only Samsung and Nokia in fact Qualcom will only have Samsung in US to supply since the global Samsung use exynos chip. Nokia is a joke America will definitely feel the heat

I dey pity for Google.. Once Huawei can successfully come up with a competitive alternative to Google's version of d android OS dey will lose a chunk of d market.. Don't give d Chinese an opportunity to make an alternative version of anything, d original will eventually begin to use dat alternative
LOL. Pity Google how? Oak is a closed source OS and Android is open source, meaning a lot of mobile phones manufacturers still going to use Android OS. Huawei and Honor phones ain't so popular in Nigeria. Besides Nigerians and Africans naturally like copying what they use in the US. I don't think it will be any successful than Windows Mobile OS

These are some of the questions I was asked during the interview today

1. They asked to introduce myself
2. Why Eco Bank?
3. If I was President of Nigeria for a year what will I do differently?
4. Since I was an Engr graduate, they asked if I was good with Numerics/calculations. I said yes and I was given a simple numerical question based on percentage
5. They asked about a time which I convinced someone to do something they wouldn't normally do
6. They asked why I wanted to go into finance rather than engr field
7. If I've held a leadership role before
8. They ask if I'm successful the department I would like
9. They asked if I see myself in the Banking field or what field do I see myself in 5-10 years
10. They asked if it wasn't banking which other field would I like

Electrical guys should be ready to answer 50 questions in 25 minutes.
Basically everything on Elect/Elect Engineering, Power Factor, SCR and power electronics basically and all the formulas, Maxwell Equations, DC Motors mainly (study all the rules involved and effects on Torque and Speed of a DC motor). C++, just the basics (data types, main(), how to signify the directory (&), bitwise operators), Coloumbs Law, Kirchoff and basic circuit theorem.
