Lol everybody suddenly turning into technology, economic experts... . . Do you know this Do you know that ...... Blah blah blah . Now what y'all fail to observe is the implications fo the US actions.. "It said the attributes of a wise is when he takes a farther look at something near, or closer look at something far" . Now let take a closer look at the geopolitical implications of the US actions . The first message the US is sending to the world is " Hey am the big bully, we aint dependable better develop an alternative cause we got monopoly and can pull the plug whenever we want" . Now this ripple started by the US is gradually turning into Tsunami!!! #Turkey is telling the US to shove it patriot missile and F35 and going for the Russian S400 (mind you turkey is a NATO member) #India a largely non allied state, is suffering sanctions cause they going for the S400 over the patriot #Iraq with a US funded government is ditching the US weapons... . . Global powers are paying attention And it only a matter of time before the US lose it monopoly!!.. . And now the US played it hands too early What are the Chinese moves?..... Still a mystery!!! . . . One thing is clear, huawei is the pawn in this chess game... Who's gonna be the winner, I don't know! But it looks gloomy for the US Cause this is a clear case of tactical victory and strategic defeat!!!... 5 Likes 2 Shares |

proxillin:Chinese are not noisemakers unlike Americans. They have been defeating the Americans since the Korean war. It was America who begged for the opening of China to the world. China closed its door to the world for decades. America thought they could use them against the Soviet Union. The Chinese are hardcore Marxists. Better recognize dumb aasss 1 Like |

lilbest4: Oga try and do proper research before you jump into any conclusions in public. Do you think Donald Trump is a fool for placing those sanctions on China? Do you think he didn't have ordinary calculator to check how much America will lose as against how much China will gain? Are you aware that Americans are the largest consumers of all those Chinese goods outside of China? Do you know that as it stands, there was already a trade deficit of over $500billion per year in favour of China before these sanctions came in place? That means America is already loosing based on status quo, and it will be in the best interest of China to renegotiate to gain back something from that $500billion instead of loosing it all? All Trump has been saying is that fairness needs to be maintained between the trade rules USA and China have, for instance, do you know that there are so many American goods that when exported to China, the Chinese government places as much as 25% tariff on them, whereas the exact same goods being imported to America from China or some other European countries face 2.5% tariff. IS THAT FAIR? The fact that Obama and Bush allowed such policies to go on does not mean it should be allowed to go on indefinitely! Trump is the kind of President Nigeria needs, someone who will stand up for the country and work in the interest of the country he was elected to govern, and not this Buhari thing we have in Nigeria. Buhari who is further sinking an already sinking ship called Nigeria. But the mainstream media like CNN will not explain to you the details and they will make you believe Trump is just throwing sanctions everywhere because he is crazy and he hates foreigners. 9 Likes 1 Share |

lilbest4: Even if all the mobile phone companies come from China, they still need the US market to survive. China isn't daft to ban arbitrarily knowing it will hurt its economy, I do not like Trump but give him credit he's got China by the balls and he is doing it right because obviously China was really exploiting them through trades et al. Like it or not US has got the leverage no other country has....and it isn't just about them... US allies will most likely support them in upholding an ban. Fact! |

elijahkayode: China can NEVER dominate the world anyone thinking otherwise is not serious America will/is declining that is for sure but China cannot fill in that shoe America once filled what we would have in future are power blocs AT BEST as for China being the boss? mission impossible That said, it is the corporate greed of America that got them into this tight corner why will you give tax breaks, allow people produce in China, slam a "Made in America" tag on it and sell it home with negligible tariffs? That made folks like Wal-Mart them super rich China created a conducive environment, then you moved your factories there to produce, thinking that China will remain a Laos or a Vietnam But these Chinese had other plans and they got to improve themselves economically and learnt how these American do things and tried their own That was not the plan they were supposed to be our factory and nothing more now they are no 2. supply side economics is a SCAM Republicans should have known this by now And as for calling "America the sole worldpower" I don't know about that tho We don't have world powers in the real sense of it, as the word was used in the 19th /early 20th century in my opinion America just had a way of being the most influential Everyone wants to kinda associate with them That influence is America biggest selling point to which China currently do not have (they are even quarreling with their neighbours ) Africans are slaves to their stomach and are bereft of common sense That Is why they are giving China unfettered access to destroy our countries All for a piece of porridge When will Africa be wise? |

What you need to know is that, Asia has an OS currently running in some phones with a similar Facebook apps that is widely use by them... They have apps and other softwares that isn't Common.... But they still need Google Android to go global..... If they said Asian mobile producers decide to leave Android today.... they will only make ways for other products to come into the limelight... 1 Like |

Both the US and China are tech giants the US may eventually win this war but it will be at a catastophic cost. What you dont get is that Trump is very arrogant. People before him could have gone this path but after carefully weighing the consequence they wisely decided to tow the path of peace with the chinese. Trump is a hot head. It doesn't mean China cant serioisly hurt the USA. What is ZTE? Whats wrong with you comparing ZTE to Huawei. Surprise! Unlike Africans the chinese always support their own products. No sir, it was Nokia who abandoned the symbian OS because they entered into legally binding contract with Microsoft to use the windows OS exclusively. the symbian always swallowed the android until its use was discontinued and android became popular because windows was too restricting and had fewer apps to offer at the time. plus the design and durability of the Nokia dropped seriously and made the phones even less desirable |
